1. Jaime F.
“Jaime was wonderful with Sophie and a pleasure to work with! She found a way to make things work that had at first looked like they might be a stumbling block logistically, and she made Sophie’s walk fun despite the great heat. We all look forward to our next adventures with Jaime!”
2. Emma H.
“Emma was a delight to work with! She is courteous, punctual, communicative, and just fabulous with our 2 dogs who don't typically get along with just anyone. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a walker in the area.”

About: I am an Army Veteran that met my dog, Raleigh, while volunteering at an animal shelter. She has been with me as I transitioned out of the military, through undergrad, and law school. Throughout the journey she taught me many lessons - about love, compassion, joy, and equanimity. We've learned many commands and tricks, been on countless runs and hikes, and all around have a good time. But, as we have aged together, I have also learned how to administer weekly shots, to give daily medications, to attend-and practice- physical therapy, and assist with getting onto couches, beds, etc. Every animal is unique. But I promise to care for yours as much as I do my own. “He who is kind to animals heaven will protect.” I currently have a flexible schedule and am widely available. I am taking an extended period of time off before starting my next job and I absolutely love spending time with animals. It's a lot more fun-and rewarding- than most legal work :) I love playing with both older and younger pets, and I’m mindful of any physical limitations your furry family member may have. I’ve taught my own dog (Raleigh) several commands and tricks for both mental stimulation and safety. I am happy to learn and then use what you have already taught your pet. Or, as I have done with friends' dogs, try to set up a good baseline for us to all learn together! I am mindful of interactions with other animals or people. My Raleigh loves people, but is 50/50 with other dogs because she has been attacked in the past (unfortunately, I’m not able to host pets in my own home at this time because of this). I know some dogs are the complete opposite and will gladly encourage or discourage social interaction according to their- and your- needs. I am also aware some dogs, especially rescues, have triggers. One I learned while at the shelter was that some dogs disliked men in baseball hats. I was sure to not wear one with those it bothered. So, I will always listen to you and respect instructions to provide safety and trust among us.
6. Vanessa C.

7. Alex J.
“Alex has taken care of Siby (Husky mix) for long periods at a time while I was in Veterinary school. He's very knowledgeable of canine behavior and takes time with each pet. He's also good with heeler breeds and working breeds. He's also very flexible with schedule and different pets needs. Definitely recommend!”
8. Ashley B.
“For as long as I've known Ashley, she has been one of the biggest dog lovers I've ever met. She has personally watched my dogs/dog sat and walked them for me out of pure love and enjoyment of spending time with them. I have trusted her without a doubt, and my dogs have always felt happy and safe around her and under her care! Her gentle, caring nature and adoration for dogs of all kind makes her an excellent candidate for this position.”
9. Anmoljot B.
“Anmol has been a wonderful addition to Belle’s daily life. She is faithful to always use the app when walking her so i can see where they have gone and sends me pictures every time. She also writes a post about how the walk went. I appreciate her helping me out with Belle very much and highly recommend her to anyone who needs this type of service!”
10. Cory P.
“Cory is the best. Great communication and so sweet to our pup.”
11. Hailey S.
About: Hi guys! My name is Hailey, a local to the valley, and trying to survive in my 20’s. I took a break from Rover as I was finishing college, started a new dental job, and I’m ready to come back! I have had many dogs since I was 7 years old, ranging from a 7lb dog to 80lbs. I have experience with many dog breeds and ages from owning them or past dog sitting gigs and I currently have 2 dogs in the house! I’m very active and get to the gym about 4-6x a week, so I would love to take your pup on walks, play with them, and give them plenty of love! I am a huge dog lover and would love to spoil your pup. (I will also send you pictures of me and your pup and what we are doing) I am at the dental office most of the time Monday - Fridays but am free once I get off at 4. I am very flexible and am willing to work with and around my schedule to help you out :) My clients home will be in the same shape I walked into it or better! Cleaning is my therapy and I can do chores or any other help that you would like.
12. Kathryn R.
“Kathryn is a kind and caring caretaker. She provides great updates, is prompt and professional. Our dog loves his walks with her!”
13. Keira M.
About: Does taking care of a goldfish named Dorothy (named after Elmo’s goldfish of course) at age 4 count? I have always had pets and I love all animals, at the moment I have my bearded dragon, my fish, and my senior cat I work second shift, perfect for those who work 9-5 who need someone to needs there dogs and cats cared for in the morning time. My cat is the queen of my house. Since she was up until recently indoor/outdoor (we moved), my main focus is to keep her senior brain enriched and stimulated. You’d never think she was 15 years old with how she darts around. My bearded dragon is in a palace of an enclosure, she enjoys looking out her window where she must think she is the guard dog. She eats out of my hand and loves trying new food.
14. Taylor F.
“I would highly recommend Taylor for all of your pet walking/sitting needs. She is trustworthy, responsible, highly dependable and has a love for all animals making this a joy for her rather than a job.”
15. Brittney P.
“Brittney was fantastic. She supervised our puppy while my fiancé and I did engagement photos. She brought her own homemade treats which he loved. Brittney made our lives immensely easier that day and clearly enjoys caring for dogs. If I lived in Charlottesville, I would trust my dog with her all the time.”
16. Alexandra M.
About: I am a part of a big family, with dogs and chickens, and love other’s pets as my own. My family does enjoy a lot of play and snuggles with all fur friends! I currently homeschool my four children, caring for my two dogs and 8 chickens is a family affair and take pride in it. Specifically caring for dogs… I spend a lot of time in the backyard playing with the family dogs. ☺️ My home is our dogs’ home too. When necessary, I do crate our dogs but for the majority of the time they are allowed to roam freely and be loved with cuddles and treats.
17. Sheila G.
“Sheila was amazing! She was so polite and caring. She made sure to remember all the details we told her. Our dog loves her! So thankful for her help!! Definitely recommend!!!!!”
18. Madison D.
“Timely. Plays with Mons. Walks Mona.”
19. Jessica C.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. I always tell people I’m a crazy dog lady who only has cats. I’d love to add in some dog sitting or walking into my schedule. I work full time, but only work four 10’s a week! My life is perfectly accommodating to add in daily and/or weekly pet care to someone who needs it. Clients home. As much as I would love to host your pet, I have a cat with feline aids who shouldn’t be around other fur babies.
20. Dusty K.
“Dusty is a reliable pet sitter. I could tell she was a dog person the moment she walked through my front door. She has sent photos of my not-so-lap-size dog in her lap on more than one occasion. The house is always just like I left it…if not BETTER! I would highly recommend her. My dog loves her!”
