About: I would love to have a companion for walks while helping out busy pet owners! I grew up with medium and small dogs (Brittany Spaniel and Pomeranian) and enjoy being around all animals. I try to keep my prices as affordable as possible because I genuinely enjoy walking dogs and know how quickly pet costs can add up. My goal is to provide high-quality, reliable care at a price that feels accessible. Don’t hesitate to reach out if your dog needs some exercise and attention! Open for walks anytime on Friday evenings before dark and all day on Saturdays. I am happy to accommodate longer, faster walks/jogs for energetic dogs or slower, shorter walks for smaller or older dogs. I work full time Monday-Friday, but may add more week day evenings in the future. If you currently need help on a specific weekday, feel free to ask and I will check my availability! I’ve cared for pets for neighbors, coworkers, and friends. I’m confident handling dogs on walks and will be diligent about avoiding other people/dogs to decrease stress for your pet and maintain the best safety possible.

About: Hi! My name is Annalise, and I have been pet sitting since high school, for about six years now. Ever since then, it feels like I’ve found my passion. I’m an international affairs major at JMU, and a proud cat mom (the tabby)! Adopting my baby boy Alex soon (the first dog), who I’m training from the ground up. He’s a nervous boy but worth it! I’m willing to put in the work, and I can’t think of a better reward than the love of an animal. If you give me the honor to look after your babies, I promise I’ll care for them fiercely. About: I've had experience with my own pets since I was 10 years old, and I have walked dogs and house sat occasionally as well. I raised and trained my cat from when he was a kitten and my dog from the moment he was born. I love animals, and I'm excited to work with yours! I'm looking for this to be my full time job, so I am available whenever you need me! I'm willing to visit/walk early mornings, late nights, and on weekends. For home visits, I am experienced with feeding, walking, and playing with pets. I am great at following instructions precisely, and I will stick to your pet's usual routine!

About: I spent a lot of time with pets( mostly dogs) from taking care of close friends pets. With dogs I found better ways to behave them when they were with me, and considering I would take care of them a lot I managed to teach them tricks. I love spending time with animals of any kind. I had a cat when I was 13 and it was tricky because I got Lenny as an adult I would say. I learned how to manage litter boxes and the right food for both cat and dog. I do a lot of research when it comes to food so I know they have the right nutritions and I’m also skeptical when if comes or bagged food, so I do make my Own at times. I own 2 dogs now, one is a puppy and the other about a year and a half old. I’m also trying to save to go into MTC to study as a veterinarian to spend more time with animals. Taking care of pets fits in just perfectly. I currently have a part time job, but doing pet care on the side definitely helps balance my routine out and get some fresh air from working. In both client/my home, since I’m an early bird, I take them on walks to get them moving and give them time to potty, as I do with my dogs as well. I give them water and food, of course this varies on any directions given by the owner. They do get a lot of playtime and treats for good behavior. I make sure to let them potty at least every 2-3 hours out of habit from my pets.

About: I have always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs and cats, and caring for them brings me genuine joy. Over the years, I have gained experience looking after pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities, including feeding, walking, playing, administering basic care, and providing plenty of affection and attention. I understand that every pet is unique and deserves patience, kindness, and a safe environment where they feel comfortable and loved. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calm and quiet routine, I am committed to treating them like a member of my own family. My goal is to ensure that both pets and their owners feel happy, comfortable, and confident while they are in my care. I am currently free most of the summer as I am a teacher. I am willing to work with your schedule and what works best for your pet. I will play with them, give them all the space that they need in order to get used to me. About: I have taken care of and been around animals since I was a child. I had worked in Dog Daycares, walking dogs, and being a sitter for all kinds of animals. I can be gentle or authoritative with your pet while giving them love and kindness. My life is taking care of animals and loving them. I have plenty of free time to spend with your pets for walks, playtime, and so much more! I am quite strong to be able to hold tightly onto a leash if your animal is leash reactive. I am well versed in dog body language and can handle a hyperactive animal or a calm and cuddly baby.

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I am comfortable and confident in providing love, care, and support to all animals when needed. I am currently in graduate school working on my Masters degree in counseling. I am flexible and available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Thursdays after 1pm, and some weekends! I can provide drop in home visits for dogs and cats. I can also do walks around the neighborhood or local parks. And bring a snack if they have a favorite treat with approval by owner! :)

About: I am currently a full time nanny, who enjoys being outside and being very active in my free time. I have a HUGE love for animals, and always have. I’m a caregiver and lover at heart. I understand that pets are part of the family and promise to provide your pet with the same love and care that you and your family do. No request is too much. I am available to house sit in your home, and able to take your dog on long walks. About: I have taken care of many of my friends pets, both dogs and cats and when I didn't have a pet of my own, would often borrow one! They make life so much better! Two of my references can give you first hand information about how much I loved and cared for their dogs. I work a 40 hour week in Waynesboro and depending on location of the pet, can do drop in visits before and after work and sometimes during the day (if local). I can come to your home or your dog can come to mine. I am not opposed to overnight stays. Your pet will be treated as if my own and with as much love and care as they can handle! They are more than pets, they are family!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I have been taking care of dogs of my own since I was able to walk and talk. I work hard and play harder with our furry friends! I am a fast learner, and can assist with training pups or taking care of senior dogs. My father is a veterinarian, so I was able to learn from him how to care for your pets. I attend James Madison University, so I will have classes with a varying schedule each weekday. I can stay full time at your home with your pets. I go to the gym, so I may be out for a short time to work out, but once I’m finished I’m right back at home with your pets! I have two dogs of my own. I feed/provide medication to them regularly (might go without saying) and I love to cuddle up with them on the floor and play with their toys with them. I’m very affectionate and will give your pets lots of attention and love.

About: Hi guys! My name is Hailey, a local to the valley, and trying to survive in my 20’s. I took a break from Rover as I was finishing college, started a new dental job, and I’m ready to come back! I have had many dogs since I was 7 years old, ranging from a 7lb dog to 80lbs. I have experience with many dog breeds and ages from owning them or past dog sitting gigs and I currently have 2 dogs in the house! I’m very active and get to the gym about 4-6x a week, so I would love to take your pup on walks, play with them, and give them plenty of love! I am a huge dog lover and would love to spoil your pup. (I will also send you pictures of me and your pup and what we are doing) I am at the dental office most of the time Monday - Fridays but am free once I get off at 4. I am very flexible and am willing to work with and around my schedule to help you out :) My clients home will be in the same shape I walked into it or better! Cleaning is my therapy and I can do chores or any other help that you would like.

About: I'm Anya! I've loved animals my entire life. I believe I would be a good fit for your pet because I have experience with pets of all ages! I am looking to pursue a career in veterinary technology, meaning your pets wellness & health is very important to me! I have worked in a number of animal hospitals, including a a 24-hour emergency hospital, which has given me a lot of experience! My dog works well with others so there shouldn't be any issues boarding your pup if needed. I would also be able to take your dog to the park & play with them to make sure they get the exercise needed, or if they’re more laid back & would prefer to snooze, they would be able to do that as well. **Please let me know in advance if your pet has any aggressive tendencies. I look forward to loving & caring for your pet as if they were my own! When I am not at work, I am at home with my son. I am able to come over for walks or to play with your pet while you are away! I care for others pets as I would my own. If I am watching more than 1 at a time, I make sure they are all comfortable & happy so no one gets hurt & adjust as needed. About: I have taken care of animals since I was in elementary school! I have petsitting experience with dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, hamsters, tortoises, lizards, crabs, rats, birds, guinea pigs, and even chickens and turkeys! I am currently in harrisonburg completing grad school! My schedule is pretty free at the moment as I have night classes and they’re all online. My best friend is a 12 year old beagle basset hound mix! I feed and walk her, but my favorite thing to do is spend time with her. Always down for fetch or a good pet session!
