“They were great! Lots of land and friends for summer to place with, she sent pictures showing how much fun summer was having and made sure we weren’t rushing either. Great option if you’re visiting luray, they are north of Harrisonburg so the drive down and back to luray were short. Highly recommended”

“Jani & Paul were able to graciously accommodate my puppy for daycare on very short notice. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay and will most definitely be booking again. The best!!!”

“Another great week with Dana! Oakley loves playing with Red and her nephew. Oakley is also being socialized with cats which is a huge plus. Oakley is always happy to be dropped off and tired from all the fun when I pick him up.”

“Hillary did a fantastic job watching our dog for the day. She is great at communicating and flexible. With our drop off and pickup times. We would definitely use her again. We really appreciate her letting us know details about his day.”

“If you need someone to watch your dog for the day……. BOOK WITH NICOLE! She is amazing! We came for a vacay, and our dog was struggling staying in the hotel room while we went out for the day. So we booked with her the night before, being way last minute and she was so understanding! She is so nice, and transparent. Super communicative too. If we come back for a visit in the area we will be using her again.”

“We truly appreciate Brandy! We booked very last minute with brandy. Being on vacation we brought our epileptic pup and he wasn’t coping well in a new place being alone. So we downloaded this app for the first time and booked with her while we went out. She responded when I checked on him, and sent me pictures of him while he was with her. We are even booked an extra day with her while we were here because he did so well in her care! Thank you Brandy !!”

“Joanna and her husband did a fantastic job of making Nikita feel comfortable and welcome! Kita takes a while to warm up to new people and places and has abandonment issues and anxiety when I'm gone, but after her first visit she was excited to get back to Joanna and her pup Azul! I also felt so much more comfortable about leaving Kita with Joanna because she was amazing about updating me and sending pictures of Kita! Altogether, Kita and I had a wonderful experience! I have always struggled with finding someone I TRUST watching my pets, I want them to be treated how I treat them! With treats, toys and walks! I will be offering walks, potty breaks, treats (unless you have a pet with food restrictions please bring your own) if they are water babies I will take them swimming! Required: Please also provide documentation of vaccinations, and flea/tick/heart worm Required: Please make sure your dogs are friendly with other dogs before booking! About: I bring a calm, reliable presence and a deep understanding of animal behavior across all ages and species. With hands-on experience caring for everything from playful puppies to gentle senior pets — as well as exotic companions like parrots — I adapt my care to each animal’s unique needs. I work from home, so I’m available throughout the day to keep pets on their regular routine and give them consistent attention. I’m comfortable with crate training, potty training, administering medication, and supporting senior dogs or animals with special needs. Every pet in my care is treated like family — safe, understood, and genuinely loved. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. Since I work from home, I’m able to build my schedule around the pets in my care — whether that means regular walks, feeding times, play sessions, or quiet companionship. My own pets have taught me the importance of consistency and attention, so I’m always mindful of keeping each pet’s routine as close to normal as possible. Caring for animals isn’t something I fit in — it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize every day. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and right at home here. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I do have an underground fence system with extra collars for dogs who are trained to use it. Otherwise, all outside time is fully supervised, whether on a leash or in the yard. Inside, my home is pet-friendly, calm, and set up to give animals their own space if they need it. I keep things clean, low-stress, and consistent with whatever routine they’re used to. I’m always nearby since I work from home, so your pet gets lots of attention and care throughout the day.
