About: I've had dogs my whole life. Grew up in a house with 2+ dogs near constantly. All family dogs were 60+ lbs each with the largest being 110lbs. My 75lb dog crossed the rainbow bridge Sept 2025, I am not ready for a dog full time but I do miss the company. I will spoil your dog. I do not care about breed. I am looking for weekends. I work full time, so I am ready to go around noon on Friday and depending on the needs can be around all weekend. Generally I do leave the house during the weekend for a couple hours during the day to do chores and stuff but other than that can be a total home body. If the dog is good on leash I have a great neighborhood to take walks. If you are looking for me to stay at your house over the weekend, I can provide as much potty coverage as you request. If you want me to stay over the week, I do have a day job with my schedule being 7-3. I have a 8ft privacy fence the whole way around my backyard with a dog door. I do not have a crate, but I can use yours if you want your dog crated. I follow your food rules. I used to make hot breakfast/dinner for my dog. I do keep some dog treats in the house but I will check with you if your dog can have that specific treat first and if there are any dietary needs. If you want me to stay in your house, lets write the rules down and I'm happy to do whatever. If you have poor cellphone service, it'd be great to get a wifi password.

About: I have always been a big animal lover. I got my first dog when I turned 2 years old and did everything I could to help take care of her. I got another dog a couple of years later who became my best friend. Before I left for college he would come everywhere with me. I am now the happy and proud owner of a 6 and 12 year old cat and want to continue growing my pet family. In addition to growing up taking care of my own pets I had the responsibility of pet sitting for a lot of different families in my neighborhood. I have worked as a client service representative and now as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital and have been able to gain knowledge and experience about pet healthcare and wellbeing beyond the general scope. I am currently a full time employee at an animal hospital. He was our house mascot. And I've owned and cared for dogs ever since. I started rescuing dogs in 2010 in Oakland. I found forever homes for 13 dogs. Your dog will be safe, made comfortable and well cared for by me. I'm happy to care for senior dogs or puppies and anyone in between. I am attentive. Responsive to them and focused to obey your instructions concerning your fur baby. I want them to be happy while you're away and I want you to be comfortable while they're in my care. Most of all, if anything happens, I know how to respond quickly. My 12yo Weimaraner Gideon passed away during the pandemic. I've been fostering. I am able to maintain whatever schedule you've established at home. Your pet will have full run of the house and will be encouraged to make themselves at home. About: I am a high school assistant principal with a 21 month old. I have been around dogs my whole life. I know first hand that a dog is an important part of the family and I care for each pet as if they were a member of my family. I know I am a better all around person for being around dogs and other pets while growing up. I am looking to care for your pet and provide a nurturing environment. I currently sit for family and friends pets ( from Pugs, to Newfoundlands, labs, bull dogs, to Cavalier King Charles) I familiar with them all but they don't leave on trips often enough - so I dont always get a chance to sit for them :) So this is a great option because I am able to offer you the same service I give to my closest friends and family while you are away. I have plenty of time and energy to spend on walks, cuddles, catch, and trips to the dog park or walks through Quiet Waters! Why I love dog sitting I was born into a family that owned dogs. I was lucky enough that my parents instilled the love of animals, especially dogs in all of us. Currently, I am in a condo (portion of a house) and feel for a long term commitment it may not be a good space for a dog so I would love the opportunity to give lots of attention and love to another dog! About my yard I live in an apartment a couple blocks from downtown with a great walking areas trail, and lots of green space but I do not have my own yard. My experience administering medication Yes, I have done this on many occasions. I walk each dog before school and then as soon as I get home. Weather dependent we go downtown, to quiet waters, etc. All pets love a quick walk around West Annapolis At my home I use a leash for walks and potty breaks. At a clients home I follow whatever their norm is - backyard fenced, collar, harness, etc.

I used to train our own puppies back in the day, but it's been awhile. I just retired from being an elementary school counselor, so I'm more available to walk and care for animals. My schedule is fairly open if I'm not on a travel trip, so I can walk dogs during the day most anytime and care for some animals when needed. We don't have furry pets, because my husband has an allergy. However, I want to be with dogs without him as much as possible. I do walk my neighbor's dog when she's not available.
