Availability
I'm available for the summer, and my calendar is almost always up-to-date! Don't hesitate to get in touch with me for schedule updates or for any further information about me. My part time job works in 6-8 hour shifts a couple times a week. I will have some full days off but either way my full attention will be on your baby!

Safety, trust & environment
I believe the best way to offer safety to a dog is to always keep an eye on them and know where they are. Including listening to their needs like wanting to go outside or inside, and of course treat time. I love to take dogs on walks but I am a companion first and know about the importance of a presence, especially for a pet.
Information Samantha C. would like to know about your pet
The breed of the dog does not matter to me, I love them all. Before I sit I do like to know a few things: Where can the dog go or not go? (ex: couches) Can I give the dog any treats? If so, where are they? How long of a walk do you want for your dog? Do they like walks? What's his or her favorite toy? What time of day and how often is their feeding schedule?
A typical day
With dogs, the possibilities are endless for the number of adventures you can have with them. From finding new trails or staying on old ones the number of steps we'll get will make us both tired. As for activities, I love playing fetch or frisbee with dogs or simply just heading out in the yard and running around with them. Indoors, whatever your dog's favorite toy is will be what we play with the most and being around the dog will make not only the dog but myself, happy.:)

The best care for your best friend!
Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Samantha and I'm 24 years old. I am currently in grad school at Loyola University Maryland. In 2024, I received a BA in Psychology as well as a minor in Art History. I was active in my school's Psychology club as well as around the school. I also love to do crafts, watch films and go on walks. Please message me ahead of time to ask about my avaliability. I decided to join Rover because there's nothing more comforting and heartwarming than being around an animal. Big or small, short or long hair, puppy or kitten, cat or dog - it doesn't matter to me. I've been on Rover for about four years now and have met so many cute pets! With each pet comes different likes and dislikes and I aspire to be your pet's new best friend! Feel free to reach out with any questions or requests! I usually schedule meet & greets for new dog and cat sittings so I can meet the pet with the owner and learn the ropes of my stay. However, meet & greets are not necessary for repeat clients. I've always loved animals and I believe by allowing me to care for your animal I can offer you and your pet the best care I can possibly offer. Thank you.
Reviews

Kitties were fine. She took good care of them.

Samantha did a fabulous job of staying at our house and taking care of our cat Duke while we were on vacation. She was even flexible and stayed an additional night at the beginning since we needed to depart a day earlier to avoid any weather delays. She sent daily pictures and kept in touch with us throughout the stay. I recommend her for your pet sitting needs.
We booked Samantha because our normal sitter was unavailable, and we are so glad we did! Great communicator, and she did a wonderful job with our pets! We would eagerly book her again!

Awesome person great job as always.
