I'm on sabbatical from work for a few months and looking for some furry friends to hang out with, walk, or take to the park! I've had dogs and cats (and rabbits, birds, hamsters, rats, and a goat!) since I was 4 years old. My 18 year old rescue Lamington passed away a bit ago, and now it's just Mouse (my 9 yr old rescue dog) and I! I have a lot of experience with taking care of older dogs, administering their meds, (including subcutaneous fluids, and injectable medicine), and being gentle and doing what they like, and at their pace. I'm also great with a ball and frisbee and can take your pup for a good mentally stimulating walk (plenty of sniffing and walking, so their minds and bodies are properly stimulated!). I've done work in animal rights law and activism and I will always put your animal-child's needs first. <3

5 stars! We are are new dog pawrents to a rescue pup. He’s a Pyr mix and is pushing 60 lbs and still growing! He has some separation issues and we feel more comfortable leaving him with someone while we are gone. Henriette was great and we will absolutely use her again. We chatted a few days prior to the appointment so that we were all on the same page. She is very easy to communicate with. Einstein, our pup, took to her and they had a great time. She kept us informed on how he was doing and what they were up to. They went on a lot of walks (he was conked out by the time we got home!) and kept busy! We definitely recommend Henriette and will will use her in the future.
Absolutely everything went amazingly well. Great communication beginning to end, super helpful and went way above and beyond to make Kai happy and comfortable.
Henriette was fabulous! We were on our way to FL and needed someone to watch our dog for a couple hours on the way. I felt relaxed and comfortable as soon as I met her. Our dog, Oscar, was well taken care of and we got lots of pictures during his visit. I highly recommend her!
Henriette is very communicative and Bixby was very well taken care of. She kept us updated with lots of photos and Bixby came back relaxed and happy. We will be back!
Henri was a fantastic sitter and I highly recommend her. She kept me very updated with messages, photos and videos. My dog just turned one and loves a lot of action. Hewas having a fantastic time with her on their adventures. She left my house perfectly clean and tidy. I would absolutely book her again.

Schedule
Since I am on sabbatical for at least a few months, my schedule is pretty open. That includes weekdays and weekends. I'm used to having crazy hours as a nonprofit immigration attorney, and therefore generally I'm pretty flexible and can adjust as needed.

For drop ins, walks, boarding, and day care services, I'll keep your dogs safe and update you frequently with photos to ease your mind. I know it's hard to be away from your furry children. :)

A typical day
I live in an apartment complex with a great doggie park for playing fetch and socializing with other furry residents. Also have a smaller fenced-in grassy area for doggies that are a bit more introverted. I’m down the street from Auditorium Shores for those that like some park time by the water! I’m home full time, and take your child out often (at least every 2 hours). Also have a nice balcony for sunbathing :)
