About: I have 5 years of experience dog walking. I have been dog sitting on and off for the past few years. I have a dog of my own that I have had for 3 years. I treat your dog as if he or she was my own dog. I am very responsive while I watch the dog. I enjoy sending lots of pictures and updates to the owner. I used to have a dog named Princess who was alive for 13 years. She enjoyed snuggles a lot! I also had a dog named Harley. She belongs to my dad now. I've had my Benji Boy for 3 years now. I used to take care of Harley when my father went away on vacation. I made sure I fed her, walked her and gave her lots of attention. I also gave her treats if she was being a good listener. I feed Benji two times a day, I add water to his bowl about 4 times a day, I take him out in the backyard every 4 hours, I walk him early in the morning before I go to my day job. Benji is very friendly and loves being social with other dogs! I will make sure your dog is given lots of attention and love. I have open availability right now until I find a full time job. Please send a message to ask if I will be available during a specific holiday. I can walk your dog in the afternoon and make sure they are fed and have water in their bowls. I go to client's homes because I feel the dog will be more comfortable being in their own environment. Usually the dog is very comfortable being in their own home and is able to get comfortable with me. If there are any rules in the house, I follow them. I make sure to keep the common areas clean if I end up staying over someone's home.

About: I am an avid lover of animals and have been a dog owner for 11 years. I am considerate, patient, and gentle with pets and excited to meet your baby! I am attentive to detail and will make sure your pet’s needs are met. I deeply value mutual respect and transparent communication with owners, and will keep your space the same way I find it. I want you to be able to relax and rest assured your baby is well taken care of! I currently attend graduate school at Pratt Institute and take morning classes. I have plenty of free time to dog walk, and play and hang out with your pets :) I am reachable at any time at the provided phone number. I prioritize your pet’s safety and will ensure he or she is happy and healthy!

“Great with my very active dogs!”

“Tracy was wonderful to work with! We have a big pup who has a lot of anxiety with change, but Tracy was kind, calm and compassionate with him. Tracy is respectful of the care and attention needed for each animal and your home.”

About: Having had two cherished pets throughout my childhood, I've always had a strong bond with animals. Plus, my boyfriend has five pets that I adore. From feeding and playtime to walks and snuggles, I have years of experience caring for all kinds of animals. Your pets will feel loved and well cared for with me! I am available all throughout the week! I am currently still looking for a part-time summer job, so I have plenty of time to care and love your pets at what ever time of day you need. I have taken care of dogs in all different environments, whether that be a fenced yard, crate training, electronic fence, etc. Whatever environment your pet is in I am willing to adapt to!

About: I have always been the main pet care giver and companion to all of our family’s animals! I have been a pet sitter for 20 years and hope to do it well into retirement! I have and give the most respect for animals and pet owners. I have learned so much about dogs and their views on life through reading, researching and dog sitting/walking! My experience with so many breads has educated me and encouraged me to keep loving these beneficial animals! My current dog walking/sitting job is with a 4 year old Black French Bulldog who had my heart at 4 weeks old! My communications with my clients and their dogs is an honest and loving trade off! I have also worked at a doggy daycare in Westchester .

About: Hello fellow dog people! I have over 5 years worth of experience caring for and training dogs. Even though this app mainly focuses on the walking and sitting aspect, I take the liberty of also focusing in on teaching/reinforcing basic commands every dog should know, as well as behaviors that are welcomed, and teaching what behaviors are not welcomed. Positive reinforcement is the name of the game when it comes to dogs and what sets me apart from other sitters you ask? Well, the triple C’s, that’s what. Gotta be Calm, Cool, and Collected ;) I’m currently working full time and no longer am an active Rover Walker/Sitter. I’m only available Tuesday-Thursday before 2PM and the occasional Saturday or Sunday mornings. I keep awareness of the pet’s food/water intake, whereabouts, any health concerns and their mood as well. I respect whoever’s space I am in as well as the pet’s space. I try my best to live by the golden rule said by Jesus The Christ: “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you”.

“Jackie was wonderful!!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 8 years old! I began dog sitting in my own house when I was in high school. I am able to take care of cats and dogs that need pills but not injections. I do work full time throughout the week from 8 am to 5 pm with some wiggle room. I take 1 hour lunch breaks so if a client is near and a pup needs a walk or to be checked on I have the ability for a midday walk/visit. Pre and post work my own pup gets a long walk. I am free all day on the weekends which often means a trip to the dog park or a walk on the trails. I have a back yard for leash walks and so fresh air is an option. If a pet is staying over they have the opportunity to stay in their crate or wherever they choose to sleep! My floors are mostly tile so incase of an accident all is good!

About: I grew up with dogs and have pet sat both dogs and cats. I love all types! I can walk, feed, play, clean up after them, administer meds, and bathe them if you would like. I can also clean in general and care for seniors and kids as well. I am a graduate student receiving my Masters in Special Education. I can be available during the week and weekends.I can either stay over or stop by but I can not house them in my home unfortunately. I will follow any protocols you have for caring for your pet in your home. Like feeding protocols, walking, training, cleaning, medications, crating, and bathing. I am an organized person and cleanly so I will definitely clean while taking care of your dog.

About: I have had dogs my entire life and have adored spending time with them. Since I was a child I always took charge of training our puppies and teaching them tricks, and I love spending time outside so playing with dogs and walking with them is perfect! I have watched over dogs in the neighborhood numerous times and have great experience taking care of them. I am a student attending Mercy University as well as an athlete on the softball team there! This means that during the spring season my schedule can be a bit limited. I am extremely flexible and would absolutely be willing to adjust schedules as needed. I am extremely careful with dogs and will take the time to get comfortable with them so that they can still be happy and relaxed in their own home! I am also experienced with walks and know what to do regarding leash safety and taking care of the pups on walks.

Dobbs Ferry pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jessica is such a kind and caring pet sitter. She really makes you feel as if your pet is the cutest and most wonderful creature she has ever met. (In the case of our Moma, I’m sure it’s true! :) She is very attentive to the instructions you leave and will ask questions to make sure she is caring for your pets in just the way you would do it yourself. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Erin took very good care of my cat and my house. She came every morning and took pictures and kept everything nice and tidy. My cat seemed well cared for when I got home.

Thandi is absolutely amazing! Very attentive and responsible and very loving to my Easel!! 10/10 recommend

Ellie took such great care of our boys again and we are so grateful for her help! She is kind, reliable, and everything you could ask for in a sitter.

Bruna is exceptional. She consistently responds promptly and demonstrates excellent punctuality. Hunter thoroughly enjoys his time with her

Brittany has watched Kona several times and always takes great care of him and send tons of photos and messages. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets.

Maddie took outstanding care of my cat Pumpkin for an entire week. Although Pumpkin is shy around new people, Maddie was patient and took the time to encourage Pumpkin to feel comfortable and play during her drop-in visits. She was also dependable and gave daily updates. I highly recommend Maddie and will be hiring her again in the future as well!

We’re so appreciative of Jenny! We needed some weekend drop in visits super last minute, and she came to the rescue. She was super prompt and commutative, and always made sure to make the visit super worthwhile.
