“Gabriela was great! My kitten needs lots of love and I was so happy to see him get everything he needs during my absence. We all miss our fur babies when we’re away from home, but having Gaby’s help makes time away a little easier knowing they are being well cared for. I’ll definitely be booking her again in the future!”

“We were nervous hiring someone for the first time and Tina’s profile stood out. We met her in person before the services and she seemed like a wonderful person. She watched our cat for 2 days and we got so many pictures and videos. Our boy liked her from the moment he met her during meet and greet and I think she liked him too. Wonderful service and we highly recommend her. We are happy to have found someone that we can use again to watch our pets. Thank you Tina”

“This was my first time using Rover - or any pet sitter and I was a little nervous to be honest. Cindia was very professional, reliable and communicative. She made sure to set up a meeting before we booked her, she asked questions to make sure we were on the same page and was even able to pet and bond with my two very shy cats! She made the entire process run smoothly and we would absolutely book her again. Cindia you did a great job, thank you!”

“Vanessa provided exactly the care we needed for our dogs! She worked with all their different personalities and that brings me an immense amount of calmness especially when i’m away. Definitely will rebook again!”

“Kieran was the best! He took great care of my cats. Giselle loved him from day one and Giuseppe even eventually decided Kieran wasn’t so scary after all and came out of hiding. All the updates were detailed and he called if anything was out of the ordinary to get clarification or further instructions. I’m extremely happy with the services he provided.”

“I’m very particular about who watches my fur babies. Lana is amazing. She truly cares about what I feel my babies need when I’m unable to be with them. When I come home, they’re all happy and healthy. She even customizes my high energy puppy’s walk on the 50 foot lead. I will use her every time.”

“Amazing! First time using Rover and couldn’t have had a better experience. They were prompt, courteous, and kept me up to date the entire time! Highly recommend them and will definitely hire them again!”

About: Hi! We’re a family of 6 who all enjoy furry friends. My kids range from 16 down to 9. They love to help me keep the animals happy. Our little 20 pound dog is super friendly and enjoys meeting new dogs and seeing the friends she has made. I haven’t watched a dog she hasn’t warmed up to within a few minutes. We prefer smaller dogs, but if you have a gentle, nice, large dog we’d be happy to watch him/her. We’ve had a lot of fun with some of the friendly big dogs we’ve watched. We live in a safe neighborhood with a beautiful walking trail for the dogs who enjoy getting out. We promise to treat your dog like they’re part of our family. Thanks for considering us. We’d be happy to set up a meet and greet for those wanting to leave their dog for more than a day. Thank you! I am currently homeschooling 3 of my kids so we're home most of the day. A couple of days a week I run my kids to their activities, but we're usually not gone for more than 2 hours. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly dog to keep your dog company. My 4 kids also love dogs so we'll give your dog lots of love and attention.
“So thankful we found Paulo he’s absolutely the best with Dallas and now our newest MIA!! So communicative, very reliable and loves and takes the best care of our babies! We found our forever sitter!”

About: I’ve taken care of peoples dogs since I was kid. I do it partly for my own enjoyment since I love dogs and all animals. Being a mom to my daughter most of the week, but her and I both love dogs so if she is with me your dog might get double the attention. I have a fenced yard with shade and a pet friendly house when needed. On hot days I fill up the doggy/baby pool to cool anyone off.
About: Hi! I’m so excited to be back on Rover and caring for pets again! I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals, and caring for them has always been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I’m a certified dog trainer, so whether your pup needs a leisurely walk, an energetic adventure, or someone who understands canine behavior, they’ll be in experienced and caring hands. I took a break from Rover to focus on raising my daughter and building a career in childcare, where I spent several years caring for and supporting children and their families. Now that I’ve recently relocated to the area, I’m excited to return to doing what I’ve always loved—working with animals. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision. I treat every animal as if they were my own, providing plenty of love, patience, attention, and care while respecting their individual personalities and routines. Whether you need dog walking, drop-in visits, or pet sitting, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
