About: Hi! We’re a family of 6 who all enjoy furry friends. My kids range from 16 down to 9. They love to help me keep the animals happy. Our little 20 pound dog is super friendly and enjoys meeting new dogs and seeing the friends she has made. I haven’t watched a dog she hasn’t warmed up to within a few minutes. We prefer smaller dogs, but if you have a gentle, nice, large dog we’d be happy to watch him/her. We’ve had a lot of fun with some of the friendly big dogs we’ve watched. We live in a safe neighborhood with a beautiful walking trail for the dogs who enjoy getting out. We promise to treat your dog like they’re part of our family. Thanks for considering us. We’d be happy to set up a meet and greet for those wanting to leave their dog for more than a day. Thank you! I am currently homeschooling 3 of my kids so we're home most of the day. A couple of days a week I run my kids to their activities, but we're usually not gone for more than 2 hours. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly dog to keep your dog company. My 4 kids also love dogs so we'll give your dog lots of love and attention.
About: In addition to living and caring for my own pets, my friends and family trust me with theirs. Lover so all things furry with beans I work from home and have time early mornings, on my lunch breaks, and after work to walk, feed, love and snuggle your fur babies. I will care for your pets in your home like I care for my own. They will be loved and spoiled with lots of love and snuggles.
“Fantastic experience. Cindy was excellent in taking care of my pups. I felt ease during vacation knowing my pups were in good hands. Will definitely book Cindy again in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of peoples dogs since I was kid. I do it partly for my own enjoyment since I love dogs and all animals. Being a mom to my daughter most of the week, but her and I both love dogs so if she is with me your dog might get double the attention. I have a fenced yard with shade and a pet friendly house when needed. On hot days I fill up the doggy/baby pool to cool anyone off.

“We were nervous hiring someone for the first time and Tina’s profile stood out. We met her in person before the services and she seemed like a wonderful person. She watched our cat for 2 days and we got so many pictures and videos. Our boy liked her from the moment he met her during meet and greet and I think she liked him too. Wonderful service and we highly recommend her. We are happy to have found someone that we can use again to watch our pets. Thank you Tina”

About: I recognize the anxiety your pet experiences when you're not present and the challenge of finding a caregiver who will provide exceptional love and attention. I aim to ensure my new furry friend feels comforted and loved during this time, while also providing reassurance for their owners. Working remotely provides me with a flexible schedule, allowing for multiple visits and walks throughout the day to help fit your pets needs each day. Our family dog Ford has a life full of excitement, having 5 kids he gets a ton of love and attention. So when we’re gone on a trip I know he’s sad and lonely … I want to provide a safe and loving experience for your FUR baby as I know the feeling having to leave a big part of your family behind.

Whether your dog is high-energy or prefers a slower pace, I tailor their care to fit their individual needs. I treat every dog like one of my own and strive to provide a safe, enriching, and stress free stay so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Having raised multiple litters, I'm comfortable with puppy routines, potty training, and socialization, while also understanding the patience and attention senior dogs need, including medication administration and mobility support. Full time dog boarder and trainer working from home. I provide 24/7 care as if your dog was one of my own. Pickup and drop off hours in morning or evening. Very limited afternoon pickup/drop off availability. 5 acres fully fenced in along with smaller fenced in play yards. Home is air conditioned. Dogs can either exercise on the full property if recall trained or in one of the smaller, 6ft tall play yard areas if they need a smaller enclosed area.
“Adrien was awesome with our cats Indy and Sully! They handled feeding, litter box duty, and even gave meds without any issues. We came home to two happy, relaxed cats and really appreciate the care Adrien gave them. Would definitely book with them again! Thank you!!”

“Christina was the best cat sitter we could have asked for while we were gone. She went above and beyond for my two fur babies! Her constant communication made us feel at ease and she sent many updates and lots of pictures! We loved her and can’t wait to use her again!”

About: From a friend I adopted Spooky, a black Halloween cat, more than thirty years ago. He slept curled against me every night for the rest of his long life. After my wife and I bought our first home together, we became a dog household and adopted Roxy from a local shelter, a shepherd husky mix. She stayed with us through her senior years. Since then, we've trained three doodle puppies and rescued Tiffany, a breeder mama. We cared for her all the way through her struggle with lymphoma. My schedule is rather flexible for Rover clients around gardening and practicing vocal music for my community choir. You get a substitute Pet Papa for your best friend, and I get to spend time with dogs and cats, while I earn a little extra income for gardening supplies and paining classes. It’s a Win-Win. Drop in visits for dogs and cats to feed, water and exercise. I can also give oral medications. Only one dog at a time for boarding and day care. Our three friendly doodles welcome your best friend to enjoy pack hospitality in our large, dog safe yard and home. Located in a quiet gated community. I’m happy to pickup and return your friend within ten miles. Rabbits and squirrels visit from nearby open space, so current vaccinations should include Leptospirosis.
About: I have worked at vet hospitals for 4+years and have cared for all ages. I have extensive experience with pets who need special attention, medication and sensitivities. I'm currently in between jobs so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I have grown used to pet sitting at a client's house even while working full-time so I know how to juggle responsibilities. I treat them as if their my own! I make sure I know their routine and allergies, if any, and always update the owner if something seems "off". I always make sure I have the contact of their veterinarian and if they do not have one, I will go to one I used to work at if close by.
“Katie was great. I was kept informed on my kitties, and they were well fed, boxes were cleaned and I got pictures. So reassuring to know someone was checking on them will use her again!”

Walks and playtime and snuggles are a must! I’ll make sure their food and water are filled and they’re happy!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
