I treat every dog like one of my own and strive to provide a safe, enriching, and stress free stay so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I'm experienced with dogs of all ages, from young puppies to seniors. Having raised multiple litters, I'm comfortable with puppy routines, potty training, and socialization, while also understanding the patience and attention senior dogs need, including medication administration and mobility support. Very limited afternoon pickup/drop off availability. 5 acres fully fenced in along with smaller fenced in play yards. Home is air conditioned. Dogs can either exercise on the full property if recall trained or in one of the smaller, 6ft tall play yard areas if they need a smaller enclosed area.

About: I've had pets my whole life, and love the feeling of "home" that they provide. Dogs, cats, birds, and turtles were household members while my kids were growing up. We've added a horse, goats, and chickens to our backyard, but dogs hold a special place in my heart! I'm comfortable giving injections, after-surgery care, older pet care, and all sizes of dogs. No dogs with separation anxiety, please. As a recently retired teacher, I have lots of time to dedicate to your pet! We walk daily, have supervised play time in the fenced yard, and spend time together in the house. My dogs are fed twice a day, and of course there's a lunch cookie midday! I have one small dog who is well-socialized with dogs of all sizes. Our house has stairs, so please let me know if your dog has mobility issues. I have chickens, a horse, and goats in my back yard, so the dogs like to join me for our twice-daily barn checks (from outside the fence, of course!)

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. But, when I acquired more responsibilities was when I moved in with my sister to SoCal and I started helping her take care of her dogs, two schnauzers and one yorkie. I would take them hiking, walking, and to the grooming salon. I would buy them enrichment toys and play with them every evening. Then, when I moved to NorCal for school, I adopted a dog, a Labrador. Now, I do the same as before but with more mental and physical exercise since my dog requires it. Taking care of dogs has always been part of me, my grandma was the same and that’s something she gifted me. I enjoy every aspect of it and the responsibilities that come with it. Dogs are a big responsibility and I will make sure to take care of your doggy, as if it’s mine. I am currently working from home so I have plenty of time to play and take care of your doggy. Currently with Hunter we go out four times a day, two times for physical exercise and potty breaks and the other two times only for walks to go potty. Hunter loves to play fetch and hide and seek. We hide the ball and he searches for it, this is his favorite game and it works for mental and physical exercise. We are very active and we exercise Hunter a lot but if your doggy is not like that, no problem, we can go only for walks and Hunter can play by himself. I have a fenced yard and a catio (patio for cats) where my cats spend most of the day. Dogs don’t have access to the catio since that’s the cats safe place. Hunter and the cats get along but my cats don’t play much with hunter, they are very lazy and only care about sleeping, sunbathing, and wet food. Hunter is VERY friendly, the nicest dog I ever known and loves to play all the time. Hunter has been around dogs of multiple sizes and ages from a 10 year old yorkie to a 2 year old labrador. Hunter is not neutered but he is not aggressive and territorial other than marking plants and trees outside at the park.
