“Allison stayed with our 3 Golden Retrievers (two puppies & a 13yr old) for 5 nights. She was so great with the dogs and we really appreciated the communication with us while we were away. The care she provided our pups while taking care of the house as well was so appreciated (bringing in mail/packages, having house clean when we got home, ect). We will definitely use Allison again!”

“Anthony and Mackenzie were great! We loved getting all the photos and videos of our pups enjoying their sleepover with their new friends and the pups really seemed to enjoy their weekend. They are so relaxed and exhausted that we know they had a great time. Would definitely use these guys again!”

“Claire was amazing with our two (somewhat high-maintenance) French Bulldogs, one of which is still a puppy. She cared for them and our home and sent us several updates and pictures each day. We’ll definitely be having her dog sit again!”

“Deborah was great! And our Golden Retriever Frankie loved her. She took great care of him, and our house, while we were gone. We'll definitely reach out to her again when we need great care for Frankie!”

“Jessica was great! We were out of town 4 nights, and then our flight got delayed and she was able to adjust her schedule to stay a 5th night to take care of our dog. She sent photos and updates at least twice a day and I felt better knowing I had someone here at our house to care for our dog (instead of boarding him). Our dog has some anxiety and allergy issues and she took care of all his meds and gave him lots of love and cuddles. She also washed all the bedding, towels and took the trash out (which she didn't need to do but did it anyhow). Highly recommend! Thanks again, Jessica.”

“Skye was great! She came to her house on her own time for a meet and greet. She was so kind to our little puppy and sent us frequent updates and pics. We would highly recommend her and definitely will ask her again.”

“Dominique was fabulous with our elderly pup! She hung out with him multiple times each day and also took him on his favorite daily walks. We also received lots of photos and videos while we were away!”

“Lisa is super sweet and was very diligent about sending pics of my sweet babies! I know my dogs (especially one in particular) can be kind of a shy guy and she was able to coax him out and by the end of the stay he was sitting in close proximity to her. I’d definitely recommend Lisa and will be using her again!”

“Kara was very prompt, caring and dependable when taking care of our older cat & energetic puppy. We were happy to receive pics & texts of our pets through the day. Would highly recommend Kara.”

“Raelyn took excellent care of our Lab while we were out of town. She provided lots of updates with pictures and very communicative with us. We have already rebooked her!”

“Grace stayed for 2 nights at our place with our dogs. She sent beautiful pictures of them, played with them, and stayed with them! In the morning before she left she even put our bedsheets in the washer for us ❤️ such a sweet and kind girl! Highly recommend!”

About: I'm a current dog foster through a local shelter, and I've been around dogs and cats for most of my life! I'm comfortable with most ages and sizes, and have picked up a lot of skills and knowledge on how to work well with dogs. I'm just as comfortable with cats, and I have some good experience cat sitting for relatives. I have a very flexible schedule as a graduate student, so I have a lot of availability to fit taking care of pets into my day/week. I try to keep a consistent feeding schedule and make sure dogs go out as soon as I return from being away. I make sure any hazards or chemicals are far out of reach, and always keep dogs on leashes when going on walks outside of a fenced in area. I make sure to monitor toys that can break into small pieces (nylabones, benebones, etc.). I am comfortable crating dogs if there has been previous crate training.

About: Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn about me! I have had a number of jobs in the past however most of them contained some element of caring for others (human AND friends with fur or fins!) Due to the pandemic I have found a couple of fun ways to earn some $. I enjoy being a driver for Uber and Lyft. And I have fun caring for a few of my neighbors' pets. I am looking to increase my income by expanding my pet care services. Things that set me apart from other pet sitters: * My schedule is wide open / VERY flexible! * I have a reliable vehicle. * I am a mature, caring, and dependable adult who enjoys all types of pets! I hope to hear from you!

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a young child, but have been doing so professionally for 10 years. What sets me apart from other pet sitters is that I am a full time vet tech and have been in the veterinary field for over 10 years. So I am uniquely qualified to administer all kinds of medications, including oral, transdermal, and injectable, as well as subcutaneous fluids. I am also a certified dog trainer so I am able to train puppies (and dogs of all ages) and keep up with their current training while you're away. I currently work full time, so I have limited daytime availability. I am off on Thursdays and Sundays as well as most Saturdays, but otherwise can only provide midday drop ins if they are within a short drive from my job in Waukee. I will follow your instructions meticulously and treat your pets as I do my own. I believe it is important to keep as close to a normal routine as possible to make sure the pets are comfortable with their pet sitter while their owners are away. I provide daily text check ins with pet parents as well as pictures of your beloved pet.

About: I am a stay at home mom with three children who LOVE dogs. We provide a safe, comforting environment for any pup that stays with us. We love a couch potato who wants to snuggle up with the family after a day of playing in the backyard. We have two Cavachons, Reggie (13) and Duncan (12), they are our old men. We also have our big man, Goose, a 100lb German shepherd. He is the best with dogs and people of all shapes and sizes, truly a gentle giant. We also have a cat, Peaches. She is very social and doesn’t scare easily. As long as your dog doesn’t try to eat her, they will get along great! Most of my clients are repeat clients, our house is already pretty full, so we never have more than one or two guests at a time. I also frequently book off of the Rover app, and try my best to keep my availability here as accurate at possible. It doesn’t feel like you’re dropping your pups off at the dog sitters when you bring them here, it’s more like their home away from home! I please ask that you KNOW your animals are friendly with children before requesting a booking. We want everyone to have a positive experience, and we would prefer our house not be your pets first time interacting with kids. Thank you for understanding! :) I am a stay at home mom with an infant and a toddler. If your pup likes walks (and doesn’t mind walking next to a stroller), they’ll get a walk a couple times a day! I have a fenced in yard and three friendly dogs to keep your pup company during the day. You are welcome to bring a crate, dog bed, whatever they need to feel most at home.

“Morgan did an amazing job with our husky Max!!! Max can be a handful and I was nervous leaving Max with someone he wasn't familiar with, but I had an instant good vibe from Morgan. She stayed at our house and with Max for 5 days and 5 nights and from the daily reports and pics we got, she and Max got along great. I will definitely reach out and request Morgan again. And would highly recommend Morgan. Max was happy and calm when we came home which tells me he enjoyed his time with Morgan as well. Thank you Morgan we appreciate you.”

Logan D.
“Logan is an incredibly caring and detail-oriented dog owner and sitter. He loves dogs deeply, and any pup would be lucky to have him as their walker!”

Julie D.
“I think Julie would make a super care giver for people's pets. I say this because of her love of animals and their needs. She is responsible, considerate and would be sure she knew what the owners wanted in taking care of their pet. She will pay attention to details and has a heart to serve. If she had question or needed clarification, she wouldn't hesitate to ask. She is dependable and a communicator. If she noticed something that might be wrong or different in the behavior of a pet in her care, she would be sure to take notice, details and report it to the owner. I have not doubt she would be a great asset to your operation.”

Megan R.
“I wholeheartedly recommend Megan as a responsible and loving pet caregiver. As a trained veterinary technician with years of pet sitting experience, Megan brings both professional expertise and genuine compassion to every animal she cares for. She’s attentive, reliable, and always goes the extra mile to ensure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s administering medications or simply offering cuddles and playtime, Megan treats every pet like her own. You can trust her to provide exceptional care and peace of mind.”

Katie W.
“I have trusted Katie to watch my German Shepherd mix, Elsie, several times. Elsie is always treated like she is part of the family and sometimes I think she is even sad to come home because she had so much fun! I would absolutely recommend Katie as a responsible and loving dog caregiver, it's hard to trust anybody else with my baby girl!”
