Debora had taken steps ahead of time to insure that Cindy did not get into an unsafe situation. Debora understands that a healthy cat cannot resist an open door of any kind. Debora let Cindy explore. She recognized Cindy's reactions to this unfamiliar environment. Debora was relaxed and patient. She quickly understood Cindy's personality. Debora was thorough in asking about Cindy's health. Debora is alert to nuances in behavior that may indicate a health issue in a cat. When I picked up Cindy after this her first stay, Debora commented on Cindy's vigorous, even startling, purring. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 10 years. Most of my experience comes from small to medium size dogs, but I’m also open to caring for dogs of any size. Additionally, I have experience with senior dogs that may take an extra amount of care/support (I.e., administering medicine, helping them get around, etc.). About: I’ve had cats my whole life and have always enjoyed caring for them. My cats have some medical needs so I’m open to discussing anything like that. I have also been around dogs my whole life, including watching neighbors and family member’s pups. I typically work irregular hours but will update my availability when I know!! I have weekends off and after 4:30 for sure every week day I have a fenced in yard with lots of room to roam and shade to cool off. If I’m coming to your home depending on it you have a cat or dog, I love to play and give animals lots of pets. But I will also follow the given instructions with food, water, and litter box if necessary.

As soon as we arrived, Samantha was greeting me at my car and taking one of the dogs. Once inside, she escorted Janice right out the back door to explore the back yard and do her business and then did the same with Falkor. That was the transition I needed. No sad puppy dog eyes from Falkor and Janice was all kinds of happy. Throughout the day, Samantha sent videos of Janice playing and pictures of Falkor with his sofa-sleeping possy. I hold a degree in Western Equestrian Sciences; have taken multiple courses in prevet sciences; and am currently a pet mom to one high maintenance pooch and 3 crazy cats. I'm experienced with babies and senior care. Rest assured your fur babies are in good hands with me. I currently work at an elementary school during the school year but have the summers off. During the months of June-September I can be readily available. During the school year, I work from 7:30 to 4pm but have lunch breaks that I can use to care for your furry friend. If you have any special diets or quirks make sure we discuss them in advance! I don't mind staying for a few hours to watch your animals or just drop in, whatever is needed! I have a nighttime job so, your animals will need to be able to be alone at night a few days of the week! I will always give them treats if being good. All you have to do is let me know what not to do or to do for them so I can be prepared.

My love for dogs is never ending. I have been taking care of other peoples dogs since I was 19. I’m available to stay with your dog. I am not available to bring your dog to my house. I believe dogs do best in their own environment with all their toys and their own area. I currently work full time for a daycare in Polk City. I work 10hr days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On the weekends I like to take my sister’s dog for a walk unless I am watching someone else dog I will take that dog on a walk if able to. Majority of the dogs I watch stay at home because they know that area better. Anxiety is very common in dogs that get boarded or are away from home.

About: I have had pets my entire adult life, and I know how important it is to you to find the right person to take care of them while you’re away. I am committed to taking care of your pets like they’re my own, and I’m excited to provide lots of love and fun! I work from home, and my husband is a full time dad, so we’d be happy to spend time with your pets, go for walks as a family, and see to their every need! We have pet gates throughout the home, extra kennels if needed, and a fenced in yard. We are also comfortable giving medication orally or via injection if needed.
