“OMG, I don’t think we could have had a better sitter! We have not left town since we bought our house in 2021. Over the last year we have had a really rough time and we needed a couple days away from the city, just a break from normal life and reconnecting with my fiancé. I was very nervous about leaving, and then my fiancé's parents told us that they couldn’t watch the dogs, and we didn’t have a backup plan. But I am so glad we found Josie! She saved our little vacation and put me so at ease that I felt I could leave and not have to worry about the babies at home. It has been amazing to relax with my fiancé for a few days and I owe that to Josie! Our dogs are a lot to take in for a new person, but her love for animals shined through and our girls loved her! Bless her heart, Luna is still full of puppy energy and she isn’t small, half Irish wolfhound, and Josie was great with her. Even when I thought Luna was going to knock her over, she was still as calm and happy as she could be. She was able to take on the job short notice, and she was punctual for every meeting and visit. She had such positive energy from the moment I met her. Our girls are kind of picky about who they like and who they accept into our home, and they absolutely loved her. I was so worried she was gonna run screaming lol. She also went out of her way to help with our roosters which were not part of the job, but had flipped over their waterer the first 3 hours we were gone. So she’s attentive and if she sees something that needs to be done, whether it’s part of her job or not, she did it. That type of work ethic is very hard to come by these days! She was also more respectful of our home than we are! I appreciate the care she gave our babies and our home. She is a very hard worker and she stayed longer just to make sure that everyone was safe and happy! This was our first experience with a professional pet sitter and Josie was great! We hope our girls didn’t scare her away from coming back for us in September. If you are looking for a caring, attentive and hard working sitter, then you definitely need to book Josie. She will take care of your home and all of your animals like they were her own. You can rest easy with her, your fur babies and feathered babies are in the best hands!”

“Laura exceeded all expectations while watching our very grumpy cat Hercules. She read his body language and respected his boundaries. He is not an easy cat to be around and by day 3 he was rolling on his back and meowing instead of hissing and growling. As a cat mom, that made my heart so happy to know he sensed how kind she is and that she wasn’t there to hurt him. On top of watching our cat, the electricity in our neighborhood went out during her visit. She called us as soon as she saw it was out and went above and beyond to help us see if it was a home issue or a widespread outage, and made sure Hercules was all set with food and water since he has an electric fountain and food dispenser. On top of ALL THAT, she ran around my house checking breakers and unplugging things to keep my mind at ease because of the outage. I felt like I was having a trusted long time friend in my home the way that she cared. We are so excited to have found her! She is amazing, and now all our friends that were camping with us want to try Rover because we had such a wonderful experience!”

About: I am a lover of all animals big and small! I care for two dogs and a fancy rat myself currently. Growing up, I always had pets, from cats and dogs to ducks and rabbits, even iguanas! Please rest assured, I care for your fur babies as if they were my own while they are in my care. I do light training currently, basic commands and sitting at crosswalks before crossing the road. If there are specific commands that your dog is alredy trained on please let me know! I am glad to learn them myself to ensure their training is maintained! I've cared for both puppies and senior dogs and cats. I have an affinity for animals and connect with them genuinely. I am an active person and enjoy going for walks and jogs. I carry water with me for hot and longer walks and a towel to dry dogs off with if it rains. I'd love to meet your fur baby! 💚🐕‍🦺🐈‍⬛🐾 I currently work part time, early morning shifts, leaving the days and evenings wide open to walk, play with and care for your fur babies!! I have a small fenced in yard, and take regular walks to ensure proper exercise is maintained for pets. I care for a sweet senior chihuahua, a little terrier mix and a fancy rat.
