Our cat Phoebe we found out a few days before our trip that she has an autoimmune condition after finding a sore that needed 3 different medications. Taylor was SO flexible and came over again to learn all about the meds and how to distribute them. She did a great job during our vacation, even handling our wiggly, stubborn Phoebe. She was very communicative and lovely, even taking a video when we needed an update on Phoebe’s sore, watering our Christmas tree, and taking in our mail! About: I have spent the past 16 years in the pet care industry taking care of cats and dogs. I have worked in dog daycare, boarding and grooming facilities in the past. I have been working with clients for years dog walking, house sitting and cat sitting. I am experienced with puppies, grown dogs and seniors dogs. I have experience with small and large breeds of dogs. I have experience administering medication, feeding meals, monitoring potty breaks, taking dogs on walks, and giving baths. I have also taken care of fish, hermit crabs and horses. I worked at a horse stable for 5 years. For the last 9 years I have baby sat my autistic nieces who have two dogs as well. I work Monday- Friday and I am available after 2:30 pm for any pet care needs! I am available all day Saturday and Sunday! I follow every precaution to make sure your pet stays safe and comfortable for my visit. I talk with my clients beforehand to learn about pets routine and care needs. I talk before hand about amount of time that is okay to be away before leaving the dog, cat alone. I am very flexible and and want to learn about any specific needs your animals have!
About: I have always loved dogs. In 2021, I adopted a German shepherd and joined a training group. Practicing and training with my own dog every day led to me developing a passion for walking and working with dogs. Since then, I have walked many dogs, including structured walks where we practice heel, sit, place, and other basic commands. I also have experience assisting my trainer with client lessons and dog sat overnight for a home with multiple dogs. I have experience with large dogs, and could also help them to practice walking nicely on a leash. I have worked with and walked small, medium, and large dogs, and even a very large dog. I truly care that dogs get enough mental and physical stimulation so that they can live their happiest lives. Even in rainy weather, I enjoy taking out my dog. I’d love to help more dogs get more walks and sniffs in! I have also dropped in to care for friends’ cats and am comfortable providing cat care drop ins as well. I have a fresh water aquarium at home and could feed fish too! I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule. Currently, I prefer to walk dogs during the day or in the afternoon, but I could work with other times. I would be available to walk dogs or drop in Mondays through Fridays and some Saturdays. I’m willing to work with you! I am very respectful of others’ homes and their rules for their pets. When pet sitting in the past, I have used a lock box to access a key and returned the key to the box upon leaving the home. I am also familiar with crate training and can follow instructions for how you’d like your dog to be greeted and let out. I am able to drop in to let your dog out to the bathroom, either in your fenced in yard or on a leash. I am also available for walks, taking dogs to the park, playing, or practicing training.
About: I dogsit for family and friends quite often, and love animals altogether! For clients I do walks in neighborhoods or parks, outside time, letting out, feeding, and play time! My family had our own Bassett Hound for 10 years! I do shelter skip day every once in a while to spend time with dogs for the day! Im currently in college, with classes Monday through Thursday, and off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. My class schedule varies day to day, but my late afternoon to evening is free, and most of my classes are in the morning! I will always make an effort to work things out! I socialize on the weekends, but will always be able to put time aside! I can walk dogs in neighborhoods or parks, I also can play and chill with your baby and take them out to play and go potty.
