“Amy was awesome and took wonderful care of my Jax. Loved getting picture updates to see how he was doing. Will definitely use her again when I go away. Thanks again Amy!!!”

“Koda took to Jill very fast. Usually she will bark and growl until she knows you’re a friend, but not with Jill. I am a firm believer in dogs judgements of people and Jill passed with flying colors!”

“Our animals were in great hands with Audrey! She was prompt at visitation times, very clear on her duties with them , and provided great communication with pictures daily while we were away. She’s a 10/10 !!”

“Carey has taken care of our kitty several times now. Carey is dependable, timely, detailed in her daily visit reports, takes many photos which are great & funny. Photos shows the daily mood our kitty, which gives us a peace of mind. Carey has a sense of humor & does the extra like cleaning up when our kitty gets sick & bringing a package inside that was delivered on our porch. Communication is great. Carey always texts me back quickly. She wore mask & gloves & returned our house key promptly. Plan on having Carey take care of our baby in the future as well. Another great experience with Carey & highly recommend her.”

“Abby is awesome! She had some big shoes to fill since we had such great sitters in Baltimore, and so far she has proven herself to be warm and reliable. Bruno has warmed up to her and she stays in contact to be sure she is doing what she needs to to keep him happy and healthy.”

“She’s amazing!! My dogs loved her and they are normally shy of new people but they accept her and loved her. Shes gave them lots of attention and definitely treats them as their own! I will definitely have her back to watch my dogs!”

“Anna is a 10/10 dog sitter!! She’s very responsive to messages and goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs are taken care of and having fun. She has become an essential part of any trip we take, we know we can count on her to take care of our big dogs and check in on the house.”

“Natasha was great with my cat and gave me so much peace of mind leaving her alone for a while! She sent so many pictures and updates, which I appreciated 😊 definitely recommend!!!”

“Beth was amazing and took such good care of our cat!! She was very understanding with a communication error in the beginning, and spent a lot of time playing with our cat who can be shy at first but warmed right up to her! We will definitely be using her again- thanks Beth!”

“Ashley was FANTASTIC! She was extremely flexible and understanding when my plans were a little chaotic and changed on the fly. Both of my kiddos were taken excellent care of! I will absolutely be calling on Ashley again and again.”

“I used Adam to watch the pugs again when I had to go out of town. He was great as always- I never have to worry about them when he is watching them. I highly recommend him to be your dog’s sitter.”

About: I have watched all kinds of animals I have been trusted by family neighbors and friends since I was 10 to watch & care for there pets! I have one person I recently start watching for and he told me I am one of the only people he trust with his animals and house🥰 I normally do it around my work schedule! I will make sure they are left out before I go to work and as soon as I get out of work if it’s on a work day! I have a 1 year old German shepherd she is a big loving baby and gets along with everyone and all animals! She is very energetic and she has a big yard to run around in!
“Taylor was so kind and easy to work with from the start. Maisie is reactive with other dogs so finding the right person to care for her can be nerve wracking but Taylor asked questions and made me feel at ease right away. Maisie looked so happy in the pictures Taylor sent so I will absolutely be booking with her again when I need it!”

I am currently out of college for the summer, so I have availability until FRIDAY, AUGUST 21ST, 2026. Any date on, or after this day, will not be available. I can easily follow directions for your pet's care and make sure they are safe, happy, and healthy! I am a huge cleaner, so messes won't be an issue.
“I am so glad that I found Ash to help me with my new puppy Apollo. Starting back to work after being off for part of the summer I was worried about Apollo being let out during the day for potty breaks. ash is very reliable and Apollo and my other Dood love having the interaction with her when she stops in. Highly recommend Ash!!!”
“Chiara was absolutely fantastic with our baby! Very timely visits, amazing photos, and thorough updates! Definitely will be using her services again when we go out of town!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Elizabethtown
Amy is one of the best cat sitters I have ever used. She is communicative, timely and takes excellent care of my kitties. My one cat is diabetic and this means the world to me to be able to leave her knowing she will receive excellent care. I feel so much peace leaving them in such capable hands. She is the best. Melissa Jackson

Alexis was very sweet, on time, and a great communicator. We received daily pictures and updates. With the spring weather changing from hot to cold, she communicated about home temperature and adjusted for the cats comfort. She kept up with the litter box, adding water to their fountains, as well as cleaning the cats food dishes! Great trusted sitter if you are looking for someone to drop in while you are away for an extended trip. I would love to use her again for future vacation kitty needs.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Elizabethtown. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
