“Our animals were in great hands with Audrey! She was prompt at visitation times, very clear on her duties with them , and provided great communication with pictures daily while we were away. She’s a 10/10 !!”

“Abby is awesome! She had some big shoes to fill since we had such great sitters in Baltimore, and so far she has proven herself to be warm and reliable. Bruno has warmed up to her and she stays in contact to be sure she is doing what she needs to to keep him happy and healthy.”

“Natasha was great with my cat and gave me so much peace of mind leaving her alone for a while! She sent so many pictures and updates, which I appreciated 😊 definitely recommend!!!”

“Amanda was amazing! She cared for our 2 dogs as if they were her own. She worked with us being first time users of the app. She went out of her way to ensure we as well as our dogs were comfortable and at ease! Thank you for the wonderful job you did for us!”

“This was our first time having Cassidy come take care of our dog who has high anxiety and chronic medical issues that require daily medications. She took such great care of him, was very accommodating to all of our needs and our dog's needs! Her communication with us was amazing, we received pictures and updates every visit. We will definitely be asking if she can come again in the future! We would highly recommend her!”

“She’s amazing!! My dogs loved her and they are normally shy of new people but they accept her and loved her. Shes gave them lots of attention and definitely treats them as their own! I will definitely have her back to watch my dogs!”

“Beth was amazing and took such good care of our cat!! She was very understanding with a communication error in the beginning, and spent a lot of time playing with our cat who can be shy at first but warmed right up to her! We will definitely be using her again- thanks Beth!”

“Thank you again Susan for the good care you give to our little old lady. Angel appreciates you and so do we. Enjoyed the pictures. Thank you for the Christmas picture of Angel. We love it.”
“Jessica was great with our cats. The one is usually not big on people and she would come out for pictures every visit. She was very detailed in her report after each detail. Highly recommend.”

“Tess was amazing with all 4 of my cats, even my shy one that I wasn't expecting to even come out! Super responsive, respectful, and easy to work with - I will definitely be rebooking with her again! 😊”

“Taylor was so kind and easy to work with from the start. Maisie is reactive with other dogs so finding the right person to care for her can be nerve wracking but Taylor asked questions and made me feel at ease right away. Maisie looked so happy in the pictures Taylor sent so I will absolutely be booking with her again when I need it!”

“Clara has helped us out so many times with both of our pups. My girls absolutely loved her and got so excited to see her. My puppy had tummy issues and had an accident in her crate which got on herself, Clara was more then willing to give her a bath and clean out her crate so my pup wouldn’t have to sit in it all day! She’s amazing with communication and will respond quickly when she’s able too! I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for someone to truly care about your animal while you’re gone!!”

“I am so glad that I found Ash to help me with my new puppy Apollo. Starting back to work after being off for part of the summer I was worried about Apollo being let out during the day for potty breaks. ash is very reliable and Apollo and my other Dood love having the interaction with her when she stops in. Highly recommend Ash!!!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 950 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Upper Lawn. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Upper Lawn. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
