About: After a weekend touring some well intentioned "pet ranches" for an upcoming trip, we were disheartened as the places smelled of urine, were very noisy, & seemed over-crowded. We felt that our dog would just be a number in their system & we figured there had to be a better way to care for our favorite four legged family member when we left town and that is when we discovered Rover. We then thought that becoming sitters ourselves would help the community in finding a loving environment for their furry friends when they needed a place to stay too! We offer a clean, large, pet-friendly, living space with a gated-in back yard. We have one dog, Hadley (lab retriever mix), that loves to play with other dogs. Also in the house, is Kyra, our teen daughter who loves all animals equally, and our teen son, Kaleb, who loves to play ball & tug-o-war with your pet. I work out of the home so I am around to meet your pet's needs and my wife loves to snuggle with furry friends after a long day's work. We only accept one family's dog(s) at a time so that we can give your pet the attention it so desperately needs. We are your perfect answer to finding a loving and caring place for 4 legged family member when you can't take her with you.

About: Hi! My name is Katie and I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up, we always had cats in the house and when I was 12, I got my first dog. When I was little, I ran a small pet sitting service in my neighborhood and had so much fun taking care of dogs and cats of all sizes. I recently moved to Wichita to attend Wichita State University but I try to visit my furbabies at home as much as possible. My roommate, Jimme, and I love animals and spend as much time with them as we can, whether it's visiting pets we know, spending an afternoon in pet shops, or volunteering for various animal organizations. We are both active people and love going on long walks through our neighborhood. I am a very responsible, attentive sitter and treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. One of my favorite things to do when caring for a pet is to take lots of pictures! You can be sure that I will keep you updated on all the activities we do so you never have to worry about your pet while you are away. You can expect your dog to be spoiled with treats, cuddles, and lots of playtime while visiting! I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I often work remotely here in Wichita, so I am available to care for your pet all day! I am extremely flexible and can usually modify repeat bookings as requested. One of the first things I like to do with the pets in my care is gain their trust by feeding and playing with them. Then, we go on walks around the neighborhood to get some exercise and explore. Dogs are usually ready for a treat and a nap when we get back home so I let them relax before we do it all again!

About: I have been caring for all kinds of animals for 7+ years. Including dogs, cats, reptiles, fish and more! I am responsible for a variety of tasks including replenishing food and water, grooming, taking pets to vet appointments, administering medicine, taking dogs out for a walk, and most importantly.. providing companionship. I am very flexible during the day-time to take care of your pets and even can even offer overnight care, while they are in the comfort of your home! I love taking dogs on walks anytime of the day. Typically, the owner will explain the feeding schedule to me before hand or if comfortable, just simply leaving a detailed schedule for their dog(s). I am responsible for following the given schedule and giving plenty of time for potty breaks, feedings, playing..etc. This also may include cleaning up any accidents that possibly could occur.

I am finally at a place in my life where I own a house and can have pets, so I have a terrier mix who is my little buddy at all times! I am very comfortable with both puppies/kittens and senior animals and a quick learner for any specific needs/attention/love pets need :) I work from home and have a very flexible schedule during the week! I am single and typically around on the evenings/weekends. I just have my schedule to manage, so as long as I am available, I'll be there! My goal is to care for all pets with the love like they are own-whether they are or not. About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs. I have had several pets since they were babies until they crossed the rainbow bridge. The rat terrier in the photos is my sweet Sammy boy who passed away just shy of his 15th birthday a few summers ago. I currently have 2 cats and a dog that I spoil as much as I can. My cats are Sylvester (17) and Addie (4.5). Augie, my small standard poodle, is 1.5. I would love to take care of your animals, no matter what size or type. I’ve spent time volunteering at the humane society so I have lots of experience with different temperaments/ breeds in both dogs and cats. Even though most of my experience is with dogs and cats, I love all animals and know how important it is to have a petsitter you can trust. I would love to be that person for you! I’m a teacher, so I have weekends, evenings, and summers off to care for any and all pets! I scoop my cats’ litter boxes daily, and make sure to give them lots of love! I have a fenced in yard if you want me to keep your dog at my house, and I can easily accommodate your pets inside as well. We would just need to do a meet and greet to make sure my pets get along with yours. I am also willing to come to your house daily, or whatever you need from me. About: Hi, I’m Alondra and I would be pawsitively delighted to be your next dog walker. I had a pet dog named Mochi. She was my first dog as an adult and I treated her like my child. She made me the animal lover I am today, and I hope I can continue to give cuddles and kisses to the good boys and girls out there, doing this in memory of her. I currently work full time throughout the week, but I make my own schedule! I can work late or have short days whenever. I am usually free in the late afternoons/evenings as well as weekends. I have no pets right now. But I do have toys, potty bags, disposable water container and treats to help make our walks easier. I also have a stroller if needed.

About: I have a 35+ year long history of caring for my own dogs & cats. In addition I have helped my friends who want to go on vacation by caring for their puppies, adult dogs & cats. Having a healthcare background (retired now) I don't panic over things. I feel like pets give me so much energy, life, unconditional love that it makes me take my time & give some attention back. I have attended a few dog obedience classes & am good at working on those skills with dogs. I have also cared for brand newborn puppies! I am self-employed as an artist (painter mostly). It allows me some schedule freedom most days. Am a longtime Wichita resident but have spent many hours in nearby communities like Goddard, Augusta, Haysville, ElDorado. Because I have a dog breed that are notorious for being escape artists, I tend to be highly sensitive to this issue. I also find that I am cautious about encountering other dogs while on walks and try to anticipate before things can go wrong. Also understand the dogs who love to catch a tennis ball or those who just need cuddles. In my home I do short walks with my dog 3-5 times a day depending on weather of course. We also do longer walks in better temps (he is a senior dog afterall).
