About: Hi, I’m Abby! Animals have always been a significant part of my life. I started – MyPetFriendsICT – as my very own local pet-sitting and homemade treat company in 2023 to help raise money for my competition dance team and colorguard activities, in addition to allowing me to pay my way for a nine-day educational trip to London & Paris, during my Senior year at Maize South High School. I am on my summer break after finishing my Freshman year at ESU before returning to Emporia for Sophomore year in mid-August, and I am doing all my dog-sitting back in the Wichita area. Growing up with multiple dogs instilled a deep love for canine companionship. I also have a strong affection for other animals, including cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, and reptiles. Currently, I have three dogs aged 6 to 13, all requiring daily medications, so I understand the importance of providing extra care. I am responsible and detail-oriented. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to senior dogs who need a bit of special attention. As a full-time college-aged student, I can only care for your pets in your home, but I promise to leave it just as I found it. I have experience staying in clients’ homes overnight for periods of up to several weeks, always ensuring I clean up after myself and your pets. I will care for your pet and keep them as safe as you would. I’ll love them as if they were my own, providing plenty of affection and attention. Additionally, I will follow any training, diet, or other instructions you leave for me. My goal is to make your life easier while prioritizing normalcy and maintaining your pets' routines.

About: I’ve taken care of reptiles, rats, dogs and cats for many years. I always spend extra time with all the animals in my care and love them as my own. I know how to groom dogs and train them as I have spent a lot of time raising and training puppies. And I’m excellent in watching after cats and making them feel comfortable. I love playing and providing physical and mental stimulation to all pets. And a low stress environment. I know how to train basic obedience commands and manners for puppies and adult dogs as I have with dogs I have watched as well as my own even advanced commands. I work 12 hour shifts 15 days out of the month so for 15 days I am completely free and I only work 2 days in a row. but on the days I work I am still available for drop-ins, dog walks or boarding and I am able to come home at the 6 hour mark to let the dog out and play for a 20ish minutes. My schedule is a little abnormal. Since I’m free for half of the weekdays of the month I have a lot of time on my hands and am more then happy to drop in,walk or board your pup or cat. During house sitting, I make sure to keep their routine as consistent as possible, offering plenty of love, playtime, and attention so they feel at ease while their owners are away. For drop-in visits, I focus on giving them quality one-on-one time, whether that means feeding, refreshing water, play, or cuddles, whatever they need most in that moment.

About: For the last 15 years I've been the go to sitter for family, friends, and friend's friends! I love meeting new pets and getting to give them a little vacation of their own. I'm no stranger to medicating animals, and love a good training or play session. So far, I've taken care of geckos, cockatiels, hamsters, various fish, English bulldogs, German Shepards, maltases, golden doodles, pitties, various labs, and more! I am available for over nights with advance notice, but am presently accepting swing-by cares. I am currently working a flexible part-time schedule. Luckily, I live near the highway and have easy access to most of Wichita and surrounding areas! Due to a few fur babies of my own - I am unable to provide care in MY home. However, when in client's home I happily take care of minor chores while providing playtime, walks (when the lovey is a dog of course), and company. With kitties I will always spend a few extra hours company with them. All drop ins are a guaranteed 1 hour visit.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a young girl, and have never stopped loving it! I am finally at a place in my life where I own a house and can have pets, so I have a terrier mix who is my little buddy at all times! I am very comfortable with both puppies/kittens and senior animals and a quick learner for any specific needs/attention/love pets need :) I work from home and have a very flexible schedule during the week! I am single and typically around on the evenings/weekends. I just have my schedule to manage, so as long as I am available, I'll be there! My goal is to care for all pets with the love like they are own-whether they are or not. That being said, I know every family is different and I want to care for your pet how you would if you were home. Trustworthiness is something I greatly value, and I am an open book. About: I have a 35+ year long history of caring for my own dogs & cats. In addition I have helped my friends who want to go on vacation by caring for their puppies, adult dogs & cats. Having a healthcare background (retired now) I don't panic over things. I feel like pets give me so much energy, life, unconditional love that it makes me take my time & give some attention back. I have attended a few dog obedience classes & am good at working on those skills with dogs. I have also cared for brand newborn puppies! I am self-employed as an artist (painter mostly). It allows me some schedule freedom most days. Am a longtime Wichita resident but have spent many hours in nearby communities like Goddard, Augusta, Haysville, ElDorado. Because I have a dog breed that are notorious for being escape artists, I tend to be highly sensitive to this issue. I also find that I am cautious about encountering other dogs while on walks and try to anticipate before things can go wrong. Also understand the dogs who love to catch a tennis ball or those who just need cuddles. In my home I do short walks with my dog 3-5 times a day depending on weather of course. We also do longer walks in better temps (he is a senior dog afterall).

About: I have had experience with every age of both dogs and cats from newborn to senior. I've bottle fed puppies and kittens, potty trained them, adopted them out, kept some, raised them through their adult life, and cared for them as seniors. I've also taken in many strays and fosters and nursed them back to health, whether it was some scratches or they just weren't doing good, and found good homes for them. I know how to bottle feed, ween, potty train, groom, give medication, clean/sanitize injuries, and much more. I also volunteer in humane societies so that has given me advice and techniques for helping earn animals trust, especially when they are being boarded in an unknown house. I work from home so I am almost always there, unless I have to run to the store or do some quick errands. If I happen to visit friends or family, go to a sit down restraunt, or do anything else that might take longer, it will never be for more than 2-3 hours. I do not kennel unless necessary or if requested (during feedings, if I have to run somewhere, in emergencies, ect.), so they will have free reign otherwise. If they have a feeding schedule, great, if not, I'll make sure the bowls always full. Fresh water is always available in multiple locations. I don't have a fence so dogs will always be leashed going outside and will be taken whenever they want to or every couple hours. Cats litter boxes are spot cleaned once a day, and switched once a week or when needed if they will be staying for longer. My golden rule is treat others how you want to be treated, and that extends to animals aswell. I don't yell, ignore, or force anything to do something that isn't necessary. Obviously no one wants to take medication, but if they have to, I'll be as quick and careful giving it as I can.
