About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. I grew up with an orange tabby cat who taught me the basics of daily pet care from a young age. In high school, my family adopted a snorkie, and I’ve helped care for him for the past 12 years—everything from daily walks and playtime to grooming and giving medications. I’ve also had my own cat for the past seven years, and through his renal issues I’ve become very familiar with the early signs of urinary blockages, bladder stones, and the importance of special diet management. Because of this, I’m extremely attentive to subtle behavior changes and comfortable supporting pets with chronic or sensitive medical needs. I treat every pet like family, and I’m committed to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate care. I am a medical student who spends several hours a day studying, making my schedule perfect for house sitting and using study breaks to take dogs on walks. I have class every week day from 8-12 so I can do anytime after that. Unfortunately, I am unable to do Thursdays due to long lecture and lab times. When your pet is with me, they’re treated like my own. I’m really big on keeping things safe, calm, and consistent so your pet can settle in and feel comfortable. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and any little changes—especially since I’m used to managing my own cat’s medical needs. I’m super reliable and I always follow instructions exactly how you give them. You’ll get plenty of updates and photos so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. Whether it’s sticking to a schedule, handling special diets, or just giving them extra love and attention, I make sure your pet is safe, happy, and well-cared for the entire time.

About: I have been taking care of my own pets for 10 years now. I started making money off of pet sitting for about 5 years now. I have had several clients who have used me repeatedly. I create meaningful bonds with the animals I take care of and ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m also a wonderful communicator who loves sending photos of your furry friend! I’m a full time student at WSU, but my schedule is flexible enough to where I can spend meaningful hours with your pet! I do not mind commuting back and forth. About: I’m exceptional in training puppies, cats and dogs. If necessary I can discipline although I prefer positive encouragement towards good behaviour with rewards. I love teaching commands using an animals favourite treat or a clicker, whichever is more effective. When it comes to older animals it’s critical for me to be aware of and understand their history. Dietary restrictions, sleeping/eating habits, medication and application processes, etc. I love all animals but ultimately will treat them as family with the love and support they each deserve. I’m currently unemployed but seeking part time work. My main goal currently is to fill in the gaps of my day to day with joy and happiness that only pets can bring. We all need something to look forward too to make life enjoyable and for me right now that’s figuring out how to play with as many animals as possible. Our home has as expansive enclosed back yard for dogs to run around in and play or simply take a potty break. Our living room and kitchen area are great open places for cats to explore and the basement is very clean and comfortable as well. Although, I prefer to go to a cats home instead because as you know being a cat owner most cats dislike change of environments or any change in general for that matter. When it comes to walks I like to take as many precautions as viable. Dog parks are available and accessible more so during the day. There are plenty of nearby parks in my neighbourhood as well as bike paths and sidewalks. I’m open to any suggestions for locations or preferred methods of transportation as some animals dislike car rides so a simple walk around the block would suffice. I take any and all advice seriously when it comes to the attention and care of your animal.

About: Hi! My name is Katie and I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up, we always had cats in the house and when I was 12, I got my first dog. When I was little, I ran a small pet sitting service in my neighborhood and had so much fun taking care of dogs and cats of all sizes. I recently moved to Wichita to attend Wichita State University but I try to visit my furbabies at home as much as possible. My roommate, Jimme, and I love animals and spend as much time with them as we can, whether it's visiting pets we know, spending an afternoon in pet shops, or volunteering for various animal organizations. We are both active people and love going on long walks through our neighborhood. I am a very responsible, attentive sitter and treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. One of my favorite things to do when caring for a pet is to take lots of pictures! You can be sure that I will keep you updated on all the activities we do so you never have to worry about your pet while you are away. You can expect your dog to be spoiled with treats, cuddles, and lots of playtime while visiting! I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I often work remotely here in Wichita, so I am available to care for your pet all day! I am extremely flexible and can usually modify repeat bookings as requested. One of the first things I like to do with the pets in my care is gain their trust by feeding and playing with them. Then, we go on walks around the neighborhood to get some exercise and explore. Dogs are usually ready for a treat and a nap when we get back home so I let them relax before we do it all again!

About: I'm a stay at home mom with plenty of time on my hands, and I like to keep busy. I love to get out of the house and take long walks. I have a nice big fenced yard and a spacious house. I love dog kisses and cuddles. I'm also a cat person and I know it's hard to find lodging for them when you go out of town. All pets deserve exercise and attention and I understand you have to work so let me take on some of the responsibilities. I'm excited to spend time with lovable animals, play fetch, brush coats and give lots of pets. I wake up early with my son before I see him off to school, so pets get breakfast around 8am. I make sure to give attention to all my animals as well as playtime as needed. Frequent potty breaks are provided and usually include short games of fetch or chase. Around 3pm when my son gets home from school we like to take a walk around the neighborhood for a little enrichment. In the evening pets are fed again around 6pm. I usually give a good brush to everyone and make sure to give thorough pets and a few treats before bedtime. I have a fenced yard without any holes to escape. I have a playful puppy to keep your fur babies company. When new animals I arrive I have a spare room set up as a safe place for them. We make sure to introduce them slowly and safely so everyone is comfortable. My puppy sleeps in her crate most nights, your dogs have the option to sleep with me or in a crate depending on your preference. My cats have a sunroom to escape to if our company is too overwhelming. Meaning everyone can have their own space without feeling threatened. I take the comfort and safety of my guests extremely seriously and do my best to ensure they are as happy as possible during their stay.

About: Iv taken care of dogs and cats my entire life and a variety of many other animals, I have excellent animal husbandry! I am the first person my friends think about when they need an animal taken care of. As a teenager i volunteered at a vet clinic and I currently hold a career in the professional pet/animal industry. I have 3 cats because my children love them but im really a dog person, we just live in a small apartment at the moment and I refuse to own a dog if im not 100% sure i can afford all of its needs. I do work full time (with animals) but my schedule is very flexible i can leave and come back to work as i need to and im free on the weekends! I cannot have dogs in the home due to my own pets and how small my apartment is, but for a customers home, i have 7 years of house keeping and commercial cleaning experience, i have great housekeeping ethics and care taking ethics if the pet has left a mess i will clean it and of course i think it goes without saying to make sure they are fed and watered properly, with lots of love and attention. I can play with them forever lol and make sure they go out to potty! If they have any special needs that will be the first thing i address.

About: I have a huge heart for pets & animals in general - I have been drawn to them since I can remember! Growing up I used to assist our local vet with surgery prep and wound care. I realized I was meant more for the "loving" of animals rather than the "medical care" when vaccinations or other scary things happened - all I could do was comfort the pet! I have cared for almost every kind of pet there is, and I enjoy giving Moms & Dads the peace of mind I know that I need when I am busy or out of town. I work in West Wichita (my office IS pet friendly if your pup has the right temperament) and my hours are Mon-Thurs from 8am-5pm, and Fridays 8am-3pm. This limits my ability for mid-day stop ins during the week, but I am fully available in the mornings, evenings, and all weekend hours. All pet care routines are different! Since the level of care required can vary greatly from family to family, I offer a few different "versions" of each service, and modify my rates according to time/effort committed. Please reach out if you have a hybrid (drop-in/house-sit/boarding) request - if we are a good match I am confident we can find the right arrangement for your pets needs. I recognize that your fluff-butts are part of your family, and pride myself on the ability to make them feel loved and comfortable while in my care. Photos & videos are consistently sent along with scheduled updates - you will NEVER have to wonder if your pet is happy with me! If booking a longer stay, I prefer to iron out all details of your request with an hourly schedule so there is no room for confusion or misunderstanding. It is my first priority to make sure pet parents know that their baby is in the best hands so they can enjoy their time apart.
