About: I’ve helped care for a wide range of animals some being as young as a week old to being over 14 years old. I have loved caring for hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and the average house cat and dog. I have some free time with college classes being over for the summer and my student worker position that doesn’t require much of my time. About: Hi! My name is Katie and I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up, we always had cats in the house and when I was 12, I got my first dog. When I was little, I ran a small pet sitting service in my neighborhood and had so much fun taking care of dogs and cats of all sizes. I recently moved to Wichita to attend Wichita State University but I try to visit my furbabies at home as much as possible. My roommate, Jimme, and I love animals and spend as much time with them as we can, whether it's visiting pets we know, spending an afternoon in pet shops, or volunteering for various animal organizations. We are both active people and love going on long walks through our neighborhood. I am a very responsible, attentive sitter and treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. One of my favorite things to do when caring for a pet is to take lots of pictures! You can be sure that I will keep you updated on all the activities we do so you never have to worry about your pet while you are away. You can expect your dog to be spoiled with treats, cuddles, and lots of playtime while visiting! I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I often work remotely here in Wichita, so I am available to care for your pet all day! I am extremely flexible and can usually modify repeat bookings as requested. One of the first things I like to do with the pets in my care is gain their trust by feeding and playing with them. Then, we go on walks around the neighborhood to get some exercise and explore. Dogs are usually ready for a treat and a nap when we get back home so I let them relax before we do it all again!

I used to work for a manufacturing company that sells veterinary products and i would attend trade shows in the U.S., Mexico, and Canda. I am currently available anytime before 7am and after 4pm. You can book me for check ins, house sitting, pet sitting, dog walks, restroom visits, or to run an errand for your pet. I usually like to visit a local dog park for your dog to exercise and sometimes even a lake if your pet likes to swim.

About: I have spent my whole life surrounded by cats and dogs, both my own and others and have an intense passion for caring for animals the right way! I have basic care skills, but can ensure diligence, active and engaging time spent with your animals, timely care, and commitment to following care guidelines to a T. I know what it’s like to leave your animals in the care of someone else. My personal pet sitters are accustomed to abnormally and intensely detailed printed guidelines with care instructions for my animals, so regardless of how detailed your care instructions are, I have the aptitude to follow them in their entirety plus more to the best of my abilities! I am a medical student in my first year, so I do have the ability to have more control of my schedule. I will continually update my time availability to be accurate weekly. I will not commit something that I cannot guarantee availability for! I will only be able to give care in your home due to living in an apartment complex and having animals of my own. But in caring for my own animals, I am quite neurotic in how detailed and specifically I care for them. I make sure my animals have daily mental and exercise stimulation through playing with toys, walking, and engagement with me and each other. I am adamant about giving my animals affection, and provide them meals in a timely and measured way. I brush all of my animals teeth daily, walk my dogs daily, and clean my cats litter box at least twice a day. I am very attuned to subtleties and changes in my animals behavior to ensure that they are in good health! I want to give my animals the best life and care possible just as I will do for your animals!
