About: Hi! I’m Camille, a certified vet assistant since May 2023, currently studying at Wichita State University. I split my time between Wichita and my hometown, Norman, Oklahoma, where I work at Boomer Veterinary Hospital during breaks. I also volunteer on weekends (usually from 11 am to 2 pm, but I’m flexible!). I’m Fear Free certified, which means I use gentle techniques to reduce pets’ anxiety and stress during care. I have personal experience with anxious pets—my own dog, Basco, is a great example, and you can see his cute face on my profile! I also have experience with ferrets, cockatiels, and guinea pigs, having grown up with two as pets and from boarding at Boomer on the weekends. I generally have classes from 8 am to 2 pm, but I’m happy to clarify availability when you contact me. I always leave homes clean and follow instructions, no matter how specific. Whether it’s cats, dogs, or even more exotic pets, I’m here to care for your furry friends, including those with more anxious personalities that may take a little more time and patience. I generally have class from 8 am-2 pm during the week, as mentioned in my profile, and I volunteer from 11 am-2 pm on weekends, though I’m flexible with these times. I’m happy to work with the owner’s schedule as much as I can, whenever needed, to ensure the best care for your pets. When checking on pets, I always announce my presence and greet the animals warmly. I prioritize following owners’ directions and ensure to leave the space better than I found it.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was little. I’ve grown up around all size and breeds of dogs, cats, and many other animals. I’ve taken care of my own pets for years and have been pet sitting since I was 19 for friends and family. Overall I understand how important stimulation is in order to keep a happy, healthy pet! :) Im currently a soon to be graduating senior in high school and am employed as a CNA part time so my hours usually are from 7p-11p most weekdays and I have rotating weekends that vary from 7a-7p or 7a - 3p so my schedule is a bit spontaneous but that’s why I’m accepting same day bookings! My schedule will be more open during the summer but currently evening booking are welcome from 3p-5:50p on weekdays that I work and when I don’t I’m available anywhere from 3p-8p while weekends can vary due to my rotational weekends but when I have off im available anywhere from 7am-8pm! I’m also bilingual and speak both Spanish and English, so don’t be afraid to ask me any questions in either languages! I currently still live with my parents so I don’t provide boarding services. I care for my pets the same I would with my own family, my dog Morty has gone through puppy/ behavioral training so I’m knowledgeable in the way things should be handled and reinforced when behavior that isn’t wanted is present. When in your home I will be respectful and keep in mind that it’s your safe and private living space so I will make sure to behave as a well mannered guest, let me know if you have any specific requests when it comes to your own home or your pets I will follow as instructed to the best of my ability!

My job understands that dog sitting and walking are important to me and will help me flip some shifts around to make it happen, if needed! I don’t have a fenced in yard but I take my dogs to a fenced in dog park everyday so they have plenty time to run around and socialize. I’m sure to take extra snacks and water when we go, sometimes they get really tired and those always help. If it’s way too cold to go to the park, because one of them refuses to go out without her coat and boots in that weather, I will make sure to walk them until they let me know they’re done and then we head home to warm up and spend time together.
