I appreciated her detailed report cards and pictures during her drop ins on my blind, pharmaceutical-reliant kitty. I wouldn’t hesitate using Jennifer again!”

“Steve has amazing personality and my cat warmed up to him automatically. I feel safe leaving my meowies with him and looking forward to how he’ll develop his bonding with the rest of when I am gone.”

“Nikki was awesome!! We are very new to using a service to help with our pets, but Nikki has made the experience a very positive one. She sent lots of pictures and a thorough update on how my little sweetie was doing. It helped put me at ease. We will definitely be reaching out to her in the future for any help we may need.”

“Elisabeth was the best. It was so hard being away from the girls this long for the first time ever. But Elisabeth made it easier. She care for my dogs and communicated regularly. I would highly recommend Her to everyone looking for a caring pet sitter!”

“This was my first River experience and Camille made it an excellent one! I needed late night help over the weekend at the last second and Camille was quick to respond. I truly appreciated her taking time out of her weekend nights to come meet and care for our dog! I appreciated that she sent pictures and gave me updates on how the visits went (although I’m sure that’s part of the Rover process). We will definitely be using her down the road!”

About: As a 19-year-old sitter, I offer compassionate senior pet care and puppy training experience, ensuring patience, energy, and dedication to keep your pets happy and healthy. Pet care is a joyful part of my daily routine, giving me purpose, structure, and happiness. I love making time for walks, play, and cuddles! I care for pets by following their feeding and exercise routines, providing fresh water, administering medication if needed, offering lots of love, and keeping their environment clean and safe.

About: I’ve loved animals since I can remember. I am full time online veterinary technician school, white working in a vet clinic. I also work as a veterinary assistant at a vet clinic. I have six pets three rabbits who live in a separate room, two cats, and one dog. I have a big heart for animals in need and animal rights so when possible I try help re-home animals in need of a different environment and a more suitable life. My first priority when watching a pet is making sure all their needs are met and they are as relaxed and comfortable as possible. If they’re happy I’m happy. . . . I currently work full time, 4 10 hour days. I am able to stop in before and after work and if close enough I can stop in during my lunch break. I live in the lower half of a house three bedroom with an unfenced yard. All my pets are friendly, house broken, and my dog is trained.

About: We have over 20 collective years of pet caring experience and currently have a 5 year old Bichon, August, that we love to spoil. We adopted our 14 year old poodle, Scrappy, from a local shelter. So, we have plenty of senior dog experience, in case your baby takes medication daily. We understand the concern of leaving your pet at a kennel as we, like many others, have had bad experiences in the past. We just moved into our new home and have plenty of room for your fur baby. Our community is very pet friendly and has a huge dog park where your dog can run around with other dogs, play on the agility course or relax in the shade under one of the many trees. Not only will we take your pooch out regularly, but we will send pictures frequently. We will treat your dog like it's our own! We both look forward to taking care of your dog!

“Another wonderful weekend away knowing my fur baby is so loved and cared for. Thank you Ning! As usual, thank you for sending all the photo updates. It’s so reassuring knowing he is having fun.”

“Sabrina was wonderful with my little kitten, Basil! Having never had a sitter watch her before, I wasn’t sure how she would do with strangers and it turn out she’s a little shy. Sabrina was so patient with her and did such a good job of making Basil feel as comfortable as she could. I was really impressed with the detailed updates Sabrina gave while I was away as well. Would highly recommended her services!”

About: Hello, I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, cats of all personalities, and even farm animals! I have worked briefly with shy dogs with an unfortunate past, from young to elderly and have been responsible for administering medicine. I have experience leash-training dogs as well as a few other commands (Sit, Stay, Shake). I am very skilled with cats having had five over my lifetime as well as cat-sitting for friends and family. I also volunteer at an animal sanctuary where I am responsible for ducks, turkeys, and chickens, and sometimes pigs and goats! This includes feeding, cleaning up, replacing water, and at times carrying them. Four of the ducks I look after are blind. I have also cared for special needs cats and dogs who are blind, deaf, or have mobility issues. I love them all and look forward to helping care for your loved ones when traveling requires you to be separated. I do work 9 hour shifts at my day job, either 6am to 3pm or 7am to 4pm, so I am unable to do drop ins or walks during those time frames. My two days off every week are Thursday and Saturday. My availability is as follows for drop ins or walks: Mondays 4pm to 8pm Tuesdays 4pm to 8pm Wednesdays 4pm to 8pm Thursdays 1pm to 8pm Fridays 3:30pm to 8pm Saturdays 7am to 8pm Sundays 4pm to 8pm. For home stays, as long as your puppy is okay with that long day shift, I will walk them before I leave and immediately upon my return from work.

About: I've had many different types and species of pets growing up and have always been willing to help those animals in need. There hasn't been a day in my life that I haven't a dog in my house. Once on my own in life I started my search for a dog to call my own and have found and adopted 2 special needs dogs. I'm always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that my animals and others are safe and feel loved. There's never too little time or weather interference that will stop me from giving the best care to pets. I have a very open schedule and am very flexible and open to ideas or plans of other people. No request is too much, I'll find a way to make it work. And yes, cats can be walked too. My life revolves around my own animals. So you know your pets will be in great hands. I currently have a very open schedule to allow for the best care possible. I treat all pets as if they are family. My days and plans often involve or are made around taking care of my pets or others.

“Carole was wonderful and accommodated a last minute request. She came when she said she would and didn’t just let the dog out, she spent time with him (and his furry kitty brother). We will gladly use Carole again and so appreciate this service!”

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father was a German Sheppard breeder when I was growing up. I was always hands on when helping with the puppies, ensuring that we helped raise good family dogs. I was a supervisor at a large doggy daycare and boarding facility until recently when I decided to branch off. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I currently have 3 wonderful dogs of my own and foster kittens when with my husband when we are needed. I will always treat your fur baby with the same love, care, and patience as I do my own. After all, I wouldn’t expect anything less than that for my babies.

“Shannon and Sergio have the time, energy and love to share with your pet. Caring for dogs has always been a common passion they share. They currently have two fur babies of their own, including a senior dog they recently adopted. They diligently love and care for their dog’s health and well-being, which makes them the perfect candidates as dog sitters for Rover.com. “I used to hate going out of town because I could never find the right person to watch my elderly cat. As soon as I met Stephanie, she put my worries aside and took care of my cat as she was her own. I have no worries when I go out of town now, Stephanie is amazing at what she does. I even got pumictures and reassurance the whole time I was away: she truly does care about animals more then anyone I know. You will not be disappointed!”

Samantha R.
“Sammy and I worked together for about a year at a large doggy daycare and boarding kennel. Sammy is a huge animal lover and is incredible empathetic to dogs' needs. She was always the first to let management know if a dog was sick, injured, etc. and did everything she could to try to make them feel better. She is also well-versed in dog body language and in supervising play with multiple dogs. Sammy is great at communication with dogs and their owners. She has pets of her own, so she understands what important things people want to know about their animal when the owner isn't around. Sammy rescues barn kittens who have been abandoned by their mothers and cares for them. I am lucky enough to have adopted one of the kitties, and he is incredibly healthy and well-adjusted. I would trust Sammy with my own pets any time!”
