About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. My Dad went to school to be a Veterinarian, so we have always been around different animals. I have two cats at home, and recently just lost my beloved dog, Lexi! I currently work as a flight instructor so my schedule is very flexible! I typically start later in the day or early in the morning. Plenty of time to help out!! I can walk, feed, clean-up after any pets. I have no preference, little, big, cats and dogs. I am able to understand pets all have very special needs and want to fulfill those.

About: I’ve been around, owned, and loved dogs and cats my entire life in addition to working at dog daycares since I was in high school. About: Hi! My name is Marcela, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with a special place in my heart for both dogs and cats. I have two dogs of my own, Chester and Athena. Chester is my small rescue dog, and I’ve had him since I was 9 years old. I truly grew up with him, and he has been by my side for most of my life. Chester is deaf, and as he’s gotten older, he has also developed anxiety and takes medication to help manage it. Over the years, I’ve learned how important patience, consistency, and understanding an animal’s individual needs can be. I communicate with Chester using hand signals and gentle body language, and caring for him has taught me so much about connecting with animals at every stage of life. Athena is my pit bull, and we love spending time outdoors with our animals. Whether we’re going for walks, playing, or simply enjoying the fresh air, I genuinely love giving animals attention, exercise, and plenty of affection. Athena has also had difficulty getting along with other dogs, so we worked with her through training to help her become more comfortable and learn how to interact appropriately. This has given me firsthand experience with the patience, structure, and careful management that some dogs need when around other animals. I also have hands on experience caring for a cat with significant medical needs. My cat, Fergi, was diagnosed with HCM and eventually developed end stage heart failure. During his illness, I became very familiar with the day to day care that comes with heart failure, including administering medications, monitoring his breathing, appetite, energy, and behavior, and paying close attention to small changes in his condition. Going through that experience also taught me how difficult it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s care when they’re sick or have special needs. I know how much worry can come with wondering if they’re okay while you’re away. Because of that, I want to be the kind of person who gives another pet parent that same sense of comfort and reassurance, knowing their pet is being watched over with patience, love, and genuine care. I absolutely love cats, and after recently losing Fergi, I’m not quite ready to bring another cat into my home yet. I would, however, love the opportunity to care for and spend time with other people’s cats. It would be really special to have that connection again while giving your cat the love and attention they deserve. I also take pride in the everyday care I give my own pets, including brushing my dogs’ teeth daily. I’m happy to provide routine care like this when requested, along with walks, playtime, feeding, medication, and plenty of companionship. I’ve put a lot of time into training and creating a successful multidog household, which has given me experience with everything from basic obedience and leash manners to reactivity, resource guarding and special-needs dogs. I’m comfortable following established routines, using the training methods and equipment your dog is accustomed to, and adjusting my approach based on each individual dog. I understand that not every dog is a social butterfly, and I’m happy to give dogs the space, patience and structure they need to feel comfortable. Most importantly, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to trust someone else with your dog. I’ll care for yours with the same attention and respect I expect for my own. As a registered nurse, I’m dependable, detail-oriented and comfortable following specific care and medication instructions. I am not only certified in human CPR but also Red Cross Dog/Cat/Pet CPR and first aide certified. I’m also used to communicating clearly, so you can expect plenty of updates while your dog is in my care I’m an RN with a rotating schedule, which gives me several days off during the week and plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. On my days off, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime and plenty of attention! I am home most of the time and my husband works from home so someone will usually be here. With the occasional instances of going out a few hours at a time. We do keep our dogs crated while we are gone and have cameras on the kennel/dog room to keep an eye on them. I know every dog has their own routine, personality and comfort level. I’m happy to follow your established routine and any specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications, crates or training. I have experience with multidog households, reactive dogs and special-needs dogs, so I’m comfortable adjusting my approach to what makes your dog feel safest and most comfortable. About: I started taking care of animals, both cats and dogs, 11 years ago! I've provided animal care services for family members, friends, and for other families through referrals! It's extremely enjoyable to me when I get the privilege to take care of a new animal.! I never want a owner to worry their animal might be too much for me as I've dealt with a variety of dogs and cats in both size and temperament- I can handle practically anything! A majority of my animal care (if not all) has involved me staying the night for a week or two with the animal/s. I love to spend a lot of time and be active with the animals! Whatever was needed and instructed in care maintenance for a clients animal- I've happily handled with ease! As of right now I'm doing freelance work, so my availability is pretty open! About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for 10+ years, and have two of my very own! I am extremely passionate about my love for dogs, and would love to be able to meet more and help you out! I currently work from home doing social media and marketing, so my schedule can be pretty flexible. Once June starts, my Tuesday and Thursday nights are full from about 3-8 but can always let your dog out before and/or after! Once end of August hits I head back to school in Madison, WI! I care for pets very deeply. I believe that all pets deserve the best life they can possibly live. My two dogs are taken on at least 1-2 walks a day, while getting play time in our back yard. Exercise is extremely important to dogs, as well as chill time:)
