I've worked professionally with pets as well, such as pet dental hygienist assistant, pet store associate and birthday party tour guide, and Chewy supervisor. I'm currently looking for opportunities to help out with pets of all sizes, ages, and abilities. I'm able to provide care to your fur baby all day. I can also devote nights and weekends to them! About: I try to provide training for your dog using simple commands and treats. I have a corgy. He likes eating poop, so I am firm with him but lovely. I believe I take my time to rub his belly or play with my dog before feeding him or going for a walk. I always keep treats and bags. I currently have a job from home, with a flexible schedule. I always go outside for walk 10 to 20 minutes o play with tennis ball. I used to go outside 2 or 3 times a day. In the morning the firts walk is longer. I have many different toys and a medium-sized blanket if he needs to rest. They can also go on my couch. If he needs more privacy, I have a big cage with blankets and pillows. I live in an apartment with 2 beds to a bath.

About: I have dog sat for various different families since being in college. Growing up my family lived on a small hobby farm as well and therefore I am accustomed to many different animals and their needs. I enjoy the routine and exercise caring for dogs requires and I hope I can help make your travels less stressful knowing your dogs are in good hands! I am a full time special education teacher and therefore I am off during the summer months which frees me up to care for others pets during the week and weekends. During the school year, my weekends are free and allows for dog care. I am not offering services in my own home. I have a clear understanding of leave things how they were before I got to the house. For example, if I’m staying the weekend I leave with dishes cleaned, bed stripped, and floor vacuumed. If I am walking the dog, I clean up any mess that may have been made with the walk as well. I am gentle, but firm when needed for the dogs. If your dog doesn’t do well with other dogs, I will try to take a low traffic area or follow what works best for you all so the dog has its routine. My goal with each service is to act similarly to you as owners so that the dog has a sense of routine and safety.

I want to full disclose with new perspective pets parents: I have a full time, in-office job with the standard business hours, Monday through Friday. As a petsitter, I would to ensure their animal's life doesn't change or I could make it better in some small way especially since their parent(s) is gone I stay at the animal's home to care for them so their life isn't different than what it usually is for them. “Kaycee and Robert were great. Boomer seemed to have a great time with them. He slept in the car the entire car ride home, hour and a half. He will definitely be there again.”
“David was/is amazing! Why? He was responsive and accommodating. His extensive knowledge of dogs was clear when we met him - we knew our pups were in good hands. We received daily updates and in each photo the dogs looked like they were having the time of their lives and/or taking a nap on David’s lap 😂. We live downtown Madison and I could tell our pups enjoyed the beautiful country property as they came back tired and content! As a former Rover, I would highly recommend David to anyone looking for a sitter. 10/10!!”
