About: I have helped my family take care of our pets almost my whole life! Since moving out I’ve had my own pets (cats and dogs). I understand the importance of giving your pet attention while you’re gone, since they could be stressed with the change in routine! I’m a farm girl at heart! I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, sheep, ducks, chickens, cows, pigs, rats, hamsters….you name it! I work from home so I’m available to spend time with your pets throughout the day! As long as I have access to Wi-Fi I can work from anywhere! I am comfortable with crate training if your pet needs it. I follow direction very well so just leave me with a detailed note on how things run and I’ll keep it as consistent as possible for your pet!

I live a few minutes from Sun Prairie, although, I do work on the west side off of University Ave. I am typically available early morning or after working hours or on lunch breaks. I am also super flexible! We have 3 cats! I usually keep my pets in our finished basement during boarding stays. I am available for walks, potty breaks, meals/medications, and nail trims, at your request.

About: I grew up on a horse farm and always had a variety of animals around me. A cat and dog were our constant companions, so caring for animals has always felt natural to me. As an adult, I realize that growing up that way taught me responsibility from an early age. I understand how important it is to have someone you can rely on and trust when you’re away from home, and I want you to feel completely at ease knowing your pets are in my care. When I care for your pets, I’ll follow their normal routines as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. About: I am an aspiring vet student who has 10 plus years of experience with cats and dogs both owning and sitting for. I have medical knowledge that other sitters may not have as I work at an ER for pets as a nurse! I am extremely flexible with my time and availability and will ensure that your pet gets the well-deserved love and care they need! As a bonus, I can offer nail trims, sanitary shaves, and ear cleanings during their stay if requested! I'm currently working part time night-shift, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets! I make my own schedule during the day, so I can easily work around your pet's needs. I have a dog and cat myself at my apartment that are well socialized to be around other dogs. I can accommodate up to two dogs in my apartment if needed and can also go to your home if preferred. For cats, I find it best to go to them. I do not have a yard, but my apartment complex is pet friendly with a play area and lots of walking trails nearby.

About: Hi! My name is Marcela, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with a special place in my heart for both dogs and cats. I have two dogs of my own, Chester and Athena. Chester is my small rescue dog, and I’ve had him since I was 9 years old. I truly grew up with him, and he has been by my side for most of my life. Chester is deaf, and as he’s gotten older, he has also developed anxiety and takes medication to help manage it. Over the years, I’ve learned how important patience, consistency, and understanding an animal’s individual needs can be. I communicate with Chester using hand signals and gentle body language, and caring for him has taught me so much about connecting with animals at every stage of life. Athena is my pit bull, and we love spending time outdoors with our animals. Whether we’re going for walks, playing, or simply enjoying the fresh air, I genuinely love giving animals attention, exercise, and plenty of affection. Athena has also had difficulty getting along with other dogs, so we worked with her through training to help her become more comfortable and learn how to interact appropriately. This has given me firsthand experience with the patience, structure, and careful management that some dogs need when around other animals. I also have hands on experience caring for a cat with significant medical needs. My cat, Fergi, was diagnosed with HCM and eventually developed end stage heart failure. During his illness, I became very familiar with the day to day care that comes with heart failure, including administering medications, monitoring his breathing, appetite, energy, and behavior, and paying close attention to small changes in his condition. Going through that experience also taught me how difficult it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s care when they’re sick or have special needs. I know how much worry can come with wondering if they’re okay while you’re away. Because of that, I want to be the kind of person who gives another pet parent that same sense of comfort and reassurance, knowing their pet is being watched over with patience, love, and genuine care. I absolutely love cats, and after recently losing Fergi, I’m not quite ready to bring another cat into my home yet. I would, however, love the opportunity to care for and spend time with other people’s cats. It would be really special to have that connection again while giving your cat the love and attention they deserve. I also take pride in the everyday care I give my own pets, including brushing my dogs’ teeth daily. I’m happy to provide routine care like this when requested, along with walks, playtime, feeding, medication, and plenty of companionship. Whether your pet is young, a senior, anxious, shy, energetic, or needs medication or extra patience, I’ll treat them with the same kindness and attentiveness I give my own. I’m also used to communicating clearly, so you can expect plenty of updates while your dog is in my care I’m an RN with a rotating schedule, which gives me several days off during the week and plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. On my days off, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime and plenty of attention! I am home most of the time and my husband works from home so someone will usually be here. With the occasional instances of going out a few hours at a time. We do keep our dogs crated while we are gone and have cameras on the kennel/dog room to keep an eye on them. I know every dog has their own routine, personality and comfort level. I’m happy to follow your established routine and any specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications, crates or training. About: Hello! I study Vet Science at UW Madison and have extensive experience in both dog and cat humane societies, kennels, and have had dogs my whole life and cats for 3 years now. My dogs Jojo and Jagger are very energetic, and Indy is my tortie and the love of my life :) I am always available to talk and will respond quickly to messages! I am available weekends and weekdays, daily hours depending on my class schedule and your availability. I love to engage with pets and learn their body language, I will always have a ball or stick while walking your dog, but also understand when they need a break. My priority is making them feel as at home as possible, while earning experience in the field I love.
