My family has had 2 havanese dogs and 2 newfoundlands so I have experience with a variety of sizes. Recently, I lost my soul dog, Max. Max was a shepherd mix and was my whole world. My husband and I had Max since he was a puppy and are looking to get our dog fix by helping out others. We understand the stress finding care for your dog can create, and we would love to help provide a safe and fun environment for your dog when you need it. We have a large yard (unfenced) and safe neighborhood for walks. We also have 2 children, aged 5 and 3. I am a stay at home mom, so I am available most of the time from home any given week. I have 2 children, aged 5 and 3, and they would love to help care for and love on a doggy. I have a large, unfenced yard in a quiet, safe, and dog friendly neighborhood. Our dog Max was always free to run around the yard without any issues. Dogs are allowed inside, on our furniture and I still have Max’s dog bed for use as well. I am also happy to pop in by your house to walk your dog if that’s needed.

My previous dog required lots of medical care and I am a human nurse so I am very comfortable providing any care your dog needs. I do have one dog at home who loves other dogs and loves to play as well as a cat who is dog friendly (for shorter stays she can be kept in a spare bedroom)My days off of work are fully open and I do not book more than 1 dog at a time, so your dog will have all my attention. I will send lots of pictures and updates as I understand it can be anxiety provoking to trust your dog with someone new! I do work full time, but only 3 days a week. This schedule varies week to week so while I don’t have a consistent schedule, my days off work can be fully devoted to you and your pet! On days I do work I am available for early morning or late evening drop ins The back part of my yard is fenced in so your dog will have lots of room to run around and explore. There’s also plenty of shade to keep them cool! I do live by a park and a small walking trail so I there are lots of ways for us to get our exercise in! If I am walking a dog in your home, I am flexible and accommodating and am comfortable using whatever methods/tools you prefer to keep your dog safe.
