About: I have worked with pets for over 15 years. Growing up, I had five dogs between two households, and now I have a 2 year old pup of my own! I have lived with dogs of all sizes, ranging from dachshund to golden retriever! Through the years, friends and family have trusted me to exercise, bathe, and feed their pets. I attended puppy training sessions with my corgi and golden retriever, so I have some experience with common skills such as sitting, lying down, and staying in one place. My dogs are my entire world, and I promise to treat your pet as if it were my own. I am currently an unemployed college student, so I have plenty of free-time to spend with your pets. My availability for exercising/taking your pet out throughout the week is as follows: Monday 12-6, Wednesday 9-10 & 2-6, Thursday 11:30-6, Friday 9-6. If you need pet care earlier or later on these days, please reach out and I will do my best to workout a time with you. When I come to pick your dog up for their walk, I will leash them and walk them around an area you desire. Regular collars are fine, but harnesses are even better since they are more secure. I will carry water for your pet, and make sure their water/food bowl is filled upon return. I will spend some time playing with your pet and making sure they are relaxed before I take off. If your dog is crated when you are not home, I will lure them into their crate in whichever way you desire.

About: I have experience working with a variety of animals, including exotic species. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Health and Behavior. I have a cat of my own and also dog-sit for family members on occasion. I’m passionate about providing safe and loving care for every pet. I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the care they deserve. I am available for walks and drop-ins throughout the week and on weekends. I understand that a consistent schedule is important for all animals. I am happy to maintain your typical routine for feeding and daily activities that you have established with your pet. For social pets, supervised playtime with the family dog can also be arranged if desired. Please let me know your preferences regarding interactions with other dogs or cats.

About: I've had pets my whole life, from birds, reptiles, and fish to dogs, cats and rodents, so I know my way around various pets and how to take care of them, as such any special needs won't be too far out of my expertise. When it comes to dogs I've taken two puppies of mine to training classes and am willing to work with whatever training you have in place with your dog, whether that is working on correcting behaviors like jumping or continuing to teach them certain tricks while you're away, I will try my best to make sure they stay on the right track! Cats are the kind of pet I've had for the longest and know the best, even though none of mine so far have been major trouble makers I know how fickle some can be. I'm not afraid to do the occasional litterbox clean if needed or to keep an eye on them during their occasional zoomies. Currently my schedule is pretty flexible, I'm available any day from noon to midnight so if you need someone to check in on your pet overnight I'm available! I'm willing to work with any dietary needs and/or restrictions your pet has and as I've given medications to my pets before I would be able to give your pet any if they needed it during my visit. I'm big into teaching my dogs how to be respectful on a walk so I would be willing to continue any on walk training you may have!

About: Nothing is too good for our pets. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my pets. You can bet, I’ll do the same for yours! Dogs are my specialty but I love them all. I’m currently earning my Dog Obedience Certification from Animal Behavior College. I’m almost finished with school! I currently hold six certifications, including dog walking, pet first aid/CPR, and pet nutrition. My final certification will be in obedience. I’m happy to do whatever your pet needs and what you’re comfortable with. Let them out mid-day, clean up litter boxes, or refill food and water bottles for animals in tanks and cages. I have a little experience with giving some types of medications as well. I’ll throw a ball for your dog, dangle a string for your cat, and help your fish get unstuck from behind the filter.

I prefer to care for pets in their home so routine and stress levels are kept consistent and low. I follow instructions closely, adjust to each pet’s needs, and prioritize safety. About: I have taken care of pets ever since I was a kid. I have experience in babysitting children. I also take care of Laya our family pet. I also have previous pet sitting experience in Wisconsin. Iny previous experience in Wisconsin, I have asked owners for written instructions on medications, favorite toys, play schedule, vet contacts as well as inquiring about safe ways to enter the house. I have given the quality care for pets including snuggles, walks, and fun games like fetch with their favorite toys and time at the dog park- if permitted by their parents. I am a substitute teacher. I frequently do half days, I'm doing mostly afternoons at my subbing jobs. I am available in the mornings and at 330-8pm for drop in visits and walks I will ask for written instructions on feeding, rules, any medications, and anything else I should know. I will send pictures and videos of what we are doing-walks, how much your pet has eaten, treats, playtime, and playtime.

About: I think one of the main things that would set me apart maybe from others is that I have plenty of time I am extremely patient and I’m actually willing to listen to you and be patient with your animal!! This fits into my schedule because currently I am getting ready to go to my next semester of college as a entrepreneur and I have plenty of time on my hands, I love animals with the patience to understand them and with knowing how to properly take care of animals I know how to properly deal with unsatisfactory behavior with also knowing how to properly reward good behavior along with knowing how to deal with animals around other animals and I’m all around a great choice to watch your best friends! I treat and train my fur babies with respect and of course love them unconditionally and listening to their behavior instead of just acting on impulse and have a stable balance of spending time with my animals and other things.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life. I rescued my pit mix, Hattie 6 years ago. I also just added Ollie (6 month red heeler mix) to my family from PCH. He started as a foster but grew on us! I still open my house to other fosters, I currently have a 2 month catahoola mix pup until he finds his forever home. I work at Rivian. I am able to stop by early in the morning or in the evenings for walks and feedings. My weekends are opens. I have a fenced in yard. My dogs typically just go out there. My pit mix is a puller so we do not go on many walks but the pup loves walks.

About: I have been an animal lover since I was a kid. Rescuing chickens, rabbits, cats, horses - you name it! In my adult life, I took some time away from pets while obtaining my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. The first thing I did after relocating to Decatur, IL for my job, was adopt an unwanted adult shelter cat that resided at Animal Control for months, Spider. He is still with me - 11 years later. I have learned the reasons why Spider was surrendered. It inspired me to get involved with animal rescue in the community. I have adopted and fostered puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats. I have probably dealt with nearly every type of cat or most cat disabilities at this point - and if not, am extremely willing and able to learn. My feline resume includes sight and hearing impaired, sick, diabetes, incontinence, behavioral issues, MORE... I am a huge believer of positive reinforcement training for dogs. If you follow dominance training or negative reprimanding, we will not get along. I have taken two doggos through AKC CGC certification awards and other courses. My personal dog, Timber, suffers from several health issues including hypertension - which caused enucleation of both eyes; chronic rhinitis; and gingival hyperplasia. I am very used to paying attention to the subtle signs of dogs when medical issues arise. Currently, i am working from home, but transitioning back to in-person office work soon. When I return back to work, my schedule does offer a lunch break and reasonable flexibility. Interestingly, all of my puppy fostering has been pre-COVID/work-from-home! My home offers a fenced-in yard. We always walk pets on-leash. In side the home, we have options for crating and our home has several doors to close off rooms to create separate safe spaces, if needed. We also have several baby gates. Crating is very useful for at least feeding times. Our resident dog, Timber, eats in his crate, and he is trained to go there if he gets stressed - even though he is blind. I can often watch cats here in a spare room. Although, I do think cats are happiest at their homes with daily visits, if an option. In a client home, I would like to try to stick the schedule the pets are used to. Arranging a visit to understand the home layout, where things are kept, and meeting the pets are very important to me. I am happy to arrange multiple visits or stay at the house, depending on the needs of the clients and pet(s).
