I am an independent contractor so I make my own schedule. I spend a lot of time with my own dogs throughout the day and have the time and love to give to other pets in need of extra attention.

I have a fenced in backyard that is perfect for play/potty time without fear of escape or interaction with neighboring animals. I also offer an entire basement setup in the event that any of the clients pets need separation. If I am visiting your home for a visit, you can find comfort in my professionalism. Information Kristen W. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know beforehand if your pet has any temperament issues or otherwise cautionary behaviors (food aggression, toy aggression, don’t like being held, and other things that make them reactive). I will only be accepting pets who are kid friendly. I would also prefer that the pet parent provide a crate for their pet if it is needed during times when I’m away from the home. Reasons for this might include marking, chewing things they shouldn’t, or excessive bathroom use in the house.
A typical day
Physical activity is important! So you can expect your dog to get daily walks. I also like to utilize my fenced in backyard to play fetch. In the warmer months I like to set up a kiddie pool for the dogs who enjoy the water.

Hello, I’m Kristen! I have two medium sized dogs of my own that I’ve had for 4 years. Ive had dogs/cats my entire life. I have a years worth of experience working in a no kill shelter environment. I also ran my own stray dog rescue for a year where I rescued, vetted, and rehomed over 15 dogs of varying breeds. I’m familiar/comfortable with all sizes of dogs. I have years of experience in the pet sitting business both professionally and personally. I am comfortable doing in home visits, walks, feedings, and some short term boarding (varies per client)

Kristen is great! She provided pictures and updates on the visits. I had zero worries while I was gone. I appreciated that she spent some time with my dogs and loved on them. I could tell from our meet and greet that they were going to love spending time with her.
Kristin was amazing !!! This was my first time using rover so I was a little nervous but it was so much better than taking them to a boarding facility and they were happier and better cared for. Thanks Kristin!
