“Jonathan knows how to respond to the needs of the little fellow he is sitting. Brutus is a super senior with special needs, so he needed a caretaker with Jonathan’s kind of expertise and mindfulness. I’ve never left him with a sitter outside of the family before, but I had such a stress free weekend after leaving Brutus in his hands. Jonathan had amazing communication with me and sent cute pictures of Brutus napping or exploring around the property. Jonathan’s two dogs are also super sweet and respectful of other dogs’ space, but he also respected any boundaries or rules I set for Brutus for the stay. Did great at earning my trust and staying constituent and thorough. Thank you Jonathan ♥️”

About: I work from home full time on a flexible schedule, so I am able to engage with the puppies all day. I’ve also grown up with dogs throughout my life - poodles, Dobermans, hounds, and german shepherds. I now have a Staffordshire Terrier who is a delightful 8 year old. Large breeds do not scare me and I understand how to be gently dominant. I prefer treat-based training, but understand their can be other needs on occasion. However, I am firmly against shock collars and will not use them. The longest that I have boarded another dog was for six weeks - a Golden Retriever. I regularly board my Mom’s two dogs who are German Shepherds and my brother’s who is a pit mix. I genuinely enjoy both puppies and dogs and gain energy from them. I work from home, so it is genuinely easy. I also have a large fenced in yard with a large deck, plants, and a coi pond which is nice for dogs. I have a large fenced in yard and do prefer to crate larger animals at night. I also have a large guest bedroom for animals to relax in with their beds.

“Laffy really enjoys the time she spends at Valerie's house, both for day care and extended stays. The ability to run around the large fenced backyard and play with several of Valerie's dogs is excellent exercise and social stimulation for her. The fact Valerie has a spare room Laffy can have to sleep in with no worries about what she can get into is very comforting. Lastly, Valerie is so flexible in drop off and pickup times and responds very quickly to our booking requests. She makes leaving Laffy when we need to a very easy and positive experience.”

“My dog had to be carried out of Bonnie's house when it was time to go because she never wanted to leave! She was SO spoiled there!! She is the ONLY person I trust with my dogs and I am a pet sitter myself! So that says A LOT! - she was also entrusted with my only child. She will stop her car driving down the road to pet a dog ( especially if it's a hound!) we have stopped plenty of times to help catch a lose dog! Dogs are her children and her happiness! I don't endorse lightly especially with animals! And I think she's a great choice!”
