About: Three summers ago I started dog/house sitting for friends. That quickly turned into a hobby/addiction =] Anytime a friend, acquaintance or literally anyone is seeking help with their animal I’m the first to volunteer. I love animals, honestly I love them more than humans most days. They say if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life….. animals are truly what I love! This opportunity is a HUGE BLESSING that I will not take for granted!! I have FULL availability! I am currently a SAHM with two kids in the public school system. On the weekends we are usually attending whichever sporting event the kids are enrolled in or hanging out at the beach 💛💛 I have a fenced in back yard with lots of space to roam. There’s also a rack full of leashes by the front door & a beautiful neighborhood to walk the pups thru.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and a variety of pets ever since I was a child. I have taken care of pets in a variety of ages, such as senior dogs as well as puppies and kittens. I have a very flexible schedule and am available most of the day, though, when classes start I may not be able to do as much in the mornings. She’s always on time, always walks him our agreed upon distance/time if weather permits, and, if the weather’s bad, she will still spend time and play with my dog inside. She’s super reliable and good with communication! She tells you in advance when she’ll be out of town and she doesn’t mind last minute booking. Also, when she walked my boyfriend’s dog when he was out of town, he didn’t poop and there was no one else to come over later that night to take him out again so she offered to do it for free (oh and that was on Christmas!). If you need a good walker, use her!”

This pet crazy lifestyle heavily influenced my education, and I completed my Bachelor's degree in Animal Management, and my Master's in Zoology. For walks, I find that enrichment and engagement are more valuable to meet a dog's needs than distance. I am extremely mindful of the summer heat and will limit walks in these periods, these can be replaced with outdoor play time, which is just as stimulating! I will always be mindful to ensure the dog has had fresh water after a walk, and that bowls are topped up.
