“We had an excellent experience boarding our Great Dane with Leigha! Leigha, her husband, and her fur babies were very warm and kind towards our girl. Leigha's resident dog, Nami, is incredibly sweet, patient, and not at all dominating. I could tell that Leigha listened to the particulars I shared about our girl, and I felt comfortable leaving her with a responsible sitter and animal lover like Leigha. This sitter has a nice fenced in backyard and a roomy layout in her home, and my Great Dane had plenty of room to move around and burn off energy. When we picked our dog up, it was clear our girl had had a blast and was relaxed there. And she was tired for about 3 days afterwards so it was a great vacay for our girl! Leigha responds quickly (initially and throughout the stay), provides updates and a few photos, and cares for her guest pets as she would her own. I like that she only books a few dogs per night; it's been our experience with DogVacay that our girl does better when there aren't too many dogs in and out of the home. It can be stressful for us to leave our fur baby, but Leigha made us feel confident in our decision to board our girl there. We will definitely continue to book with Leigha whenever possible. She and her family are a gem and we are very glad to have found them!”

About: I am in my mid-30s and have always had a dog as a pet for as long as I can remember. I also have experience working with a specific company and fostered 5 dogs in the last 4 years. My furbaby, Frankie, whom I fostered and ended up adopting, has recently passed away (Devastated). That said, I wanted to reopen my Rover page to accept one dog boarding at a time. If you're VERY particular with who watches your dog and doesn't necessarily want your pet to be around other animals, I'm your girl. I am only boarding 1 dog at a time, I will give all my time and love to your furbaby! Also, accepting local drop-ins!! I have a personal business I run from home and i'm home all day. I do not have kids or any other animals at the moment. I would love to spend time with your pet, while your away! They are my number 1 priority while I am with your pet, like they are my own. I form quick bonds with animals and have amazing amounts of compassion for animals. They are my kids, i do not have any children.
