“Renee and Chris are very trusted sister. Because my dolls medical condition, I had to be picky to find new sitter not to have multiple other dogs. They only accepted my dogs and no other dogs. Renee made sure to provide the medication and she is very familiar with. They sent us a lot of pictures and video and we were very happy to know how our dogs were doing every day. Renee and Chris are highly recommended and I will ask their availability when we need our dog sitter next time for sure.”

“Julley was very communicative and I had no doubt after meeting her and her two pups that she would be able to provide the care and concern I’d hope for while watching my fur baby. She will be the first person I think of the next time I need a dog sitter.”

“Marie was amazing with Kilo! She sent frequent photo updates and made me feel totally at ease while I was away. It was clear she truly cared for him, and Kilo absolutely loved her. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend!”

“This was our second visit and as soon as we arrived, "Chica" pulled me to their door with her tag wagging. Again, it was great getting the photo updates. Thank you Allison and Gordon for another stress free vacation! Looking forward to seeing you soon!”

“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

“Wonderful people! Super detail oriented on how to care for my fur baby Pico! They kept us updated everyday on how he was doing and I completely trust them. We will be in touch again for when we need a dog sitter again!”

“It was our first time using Rover and we were hesitant leaving our fur child with a stranger but when I met Cynthia and her husband Chi, i felt very comfortable and knew our dog was in good hands. Cynthia and Chi welcomed Saint in their lovely home with great backyard space where Saint was able to play with Cynthia’s super friendly golden retrievers. She sent us updates throughout the day which we appreciated and made us feel more at ease that Saint was really enjoying his time with Cynthia and her family. We will definitely be asking Cynthia to care for Saint whenever we’re out of town in the future! Thank you again, Cynthia (and family) this was truly a smooth and great experience!”

“Kami was great with our dog Happy! He’s generally a very anxious dog, but it seemed like he got really comfortable with her. We also received updates often without having to ask, which was nice and made us feel good about leaving our dog with her.”

“David was great with Bear! During the meet and greet he showed where Bear would be staying and where he had access to roam around. He gave extra love and attention! Thank you again for your care!”

“Pascal absolutely loved his stay and came home worn out from playing and snuggling! We got lots of updates and felt good knowing Pascal was in absolutely fantastic hands! 10/10 would recommend!!!”

“K&A took stuck good care of our Milo. From the moment we had our first "meet and great" we knew that they were genuinely beautiful people. Our Milo was very well tangent care of. They periodically sent us pictures while he was in their care. Thank you for all you have dune for Milo.”

“Mimi and Wilson were great caretakers of my dog Nala (60 lb german shepherd mix) during an 11 night stay over the holidays. Nala is very hesitant in new spaces and Mimi and Wilson were super accommodating - moving all her things to the room she was most comfortable in and hanging out in there with her as well. I received daily pupdates and pictures and was at ease knowing she was enjoying her stay. Thanks Mimi and Wilson!”

“Megan was such a thoughtful and communicative dog sitter. She sent updates and lots of photos of Prisma. We felt happy knowing our dog was in such safe and loving hands. Would recommend Megan to anyone looking for someone to watch their pup. ❤️🙏”

“Mark is the best dog sitter! Ellie wags her tail when we get to his house and on a recent trip i had a bunch of flight changes and Mark was able to help me accommodate all those changes which made the stressful situation so much better. Thanks again!”

About: I’ve been around dogs pretty much my whole life, whether it was my standard poodle as a young kid, my mini poodle as a teenager or, more recently, the senior dogs I’ve fostered or adopted from Muttville. Dogs have always been in good hands with me. Right now my wife and I have two dachshund chihuahua mixes we adopted at five and six. Our home is a dog home. They’re on the couch, on the bed and even under the covers (if they want to burrow). They’re in the mix and they’re loved. If your dog has medications, I’ve got it. If they have special needs or they’re older and need a slower pace, I have ample experience with that. I’m currently dedicating my time to taking care of pups, so your pup will have my undivided attention throughout the days and evenings. The max amount of time I’d leave your dog alone would be for four hours. I have two dogs of my own that I would keep separate from your dog to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I have a fully fenced backyard with a couple of stairs. I also have pet stairs inside to help senior dogs get up on to the couch and bed
About: I've owned dogs most of my life and currently have a young Boxer/Doberman mix named Ruby. Training, exercise, and structure are a big part of our daily routine, so I'm comfortable with energetic dogs, puppies, and reinforcing good habits. I pay attention to the details and treat every dog like they're my own. Pet care is already built into my day. My dog gets regular walks, playtime, and training sessions, so caring for another dog fits naturally into my routine. I work from home and can provide plenty of attention throughout the day. In my house I have fenced yard and have a lots of space for playing inside too. I only host one dog at a time so I can give your dog plenty of attention, and care. I try to keep things as close to your dog's normal routine as possible. I'll follow your instructions for feeding, exercise, medications, and sleeping arrangements, and I'll send updates so you know how things are going. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable and make your time away stress-free.
“Sam is so lovely and was amazing with handling our energetic pup. Her husband also takes some amazing photos of our pup—giving us frequent updates about his activity.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Daly City
Velina was amazing, and we will definitely rebook in the future. She set up a meeting in advance and our 2 frenchies were immediately smitten with her and her home. When we arrived for drop off, they couldn’t contain their excitement and pulled us right to her house. One of our dogs injured his back right before our vacation, and Velina took great care to administer his meds and keep his movement restricted. Our pups loved her sunny garden and toys, and she sent lots of pictures during their stay. Our dogs loved her and she made us feel at ease knowing they were in great hands while we were away!

Thank you so much Vivian for taking care of my furbaby senior, Coco! It is my first time ever using Rover and I am glad to have stumbled upon Vivian’s page. Not only do we both have the coolest matching name (haha), she is so flexible and kind. Vivian also provided lots of updates and pictures, which made me feel assured and relaxed during my trip. I appreciate the patience she has with caring for Coco and I’m very happy we got to work together!

Alvin and Ashley were fantastic once again! This was Yoda’s second stay with them, and we couldn’t be happier. Their communication was excellent throughout, with lots of photos and updates that gave us complete peace of mind. Most importantly, Yoda came home calm, relaxed, and content, a clear sign of how well he was cared for. We highly recommend Alvin and Ashley and would gladly book with them again. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of Yoda!

Paulina took amazing care of my dog, Rufus, over a long weekend. She kept me updated throughout his stay with photos, videos, and regular status updates, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. When I picked Rufus up, he was well-fed, well-groomed, and happily exhausted from plenty of playtime and attention. It was clear that he was treated like part of the family. I would absolutely trust Paulina with Rufus again and hope to use her services in the future. Highly recommended!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
