“Renee and Chris were outstanding! They agreed to a last minute request when I had an urgent need to fly home. We arranged a meet and greet very quickly to make sure our dogs were compatible. Chewie is a newly adopted rescue and he can be overwhelmed in new settings. He adapted quickly as Renee and Chris provided him with plenty of love, exercise, play time. I also received lots of updates which put me at ease while I was away. I would absolutely recommend them!”

“Marie was amazing with Kilo! She sent frequent photo updates and made me feel totally at ease while I was away. It was clear she truly cared for him, and Kilo absolutely loved her. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend!”

“Alvin and Ashley were fantastic with our dog, Yoda. They kept us updated with frequent messages, lots of photos, and thoughtful details on how everything was going. Super kind, patient, and clearly very caring—l - Yoda was in great hands. We’d absolutely book them again. Thank you, Alvin and Ashley!!”

“Gordon and Allison took great care of our dog, Tofu, and gave us a daily update and photo. We were glad to find trustworthy sitters for her while we were traveling. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask them to watch her again.”

“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

“Our two goldens had the BEST time with Cynthia and her family in Pacifica! She sent lots of photos, took them on lots of walks and adventures, and clearly cared for them as if they were her own. Can’t imagine a better Rover experience!”

I've loved animals my entire life and believe every pet deserves kindness, patience, and respect. My studies and volunteer work have deepened my appreciation for animals and conservation. I provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care to each pet's unique personality and routine. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, an energetic adult, or a senior needing gentle care, I'll follow their routine carefully and treat them like family while you're away. 🩷 Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I prioritize reliability, punctuality, and consistent communication, ensuring every pet receives the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I'll always keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind while you're away. 🐾 I care for every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'll also send regular updates and photos, so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. ✨
“Mimi was very attentive to my dog. I was camping and so out of cell phone coverage, so she contacted Rover support for questions when my older dog was having difficulty. I would feel very safe having Mimi care for my pet. She did her best to give my dog options for exercise and for time outdoors. I am grateful Mimi took care of her.”

“Molly and Stephen did a wonderful job taking care of my senior Lab during his overnight stay. Even though he’s older, he still has plenty of energy, and they balanced his need for comfort and activity. They made sure he was cozy in his bed at night, let him enjoy their lovely backyard for breaks, and took him on a fun “sniff-rari” walk in the morning. When we picked him up, he looked happy, relaxed, and well cared-for. I really appreciate the thoughtful attention they gave him during his short stay!”

“Sam and her husband are such good dog sitters. We feel that our dog is in such good hands with Sam and it’s so nice to be able to see pictures along the way and know that everything is going well. Communication is easy and fast and we have experienced much flexibility. We are definitely returning clients!”

“Had to book a last minute rover sitter and Kami was able to take in Goku! She was understanding of Goku’s anxiety, quirks, and would give updates every once in a while. I felt at ease on my trip knowing Kami was looking after Goku.”

“Lily was AMAZING!! We received dozens of pictures every day and could really see how comfortable and happy Axel was. She took excellent care of him, including administration of meds and daily walks on the beach (turns out he loves it!). We can’t wait to see Lily again!”

“David was fantastic with my Frenchie over the weekend, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a true professional. He was incredibly accommodating, allowing for both a very early drop-off and a late pickup, which made our travel plans much easier. Before the booking, he took the time to do a meet-and-greet, which helped us feel confident that it would be a great fit. His home is welcoming and clearly a place where dogs can feel comfortable. David also did a great job communicating with me while I was away and I appreciated his photos. One thing that really stood out was how well David handled my dog's unique needs. My Frenchie is leash reactive, and we're actively working through a few behavioral and training challenges. David took the time to understand his temperament and navigated those situations with patience and confidence. It was clear that he has experience working with dogs of all sort. We'll definitely be booking with him again soon.”

“10/10 experience with Julley! Our first time using Rover and we will definitely be using it again and hopefully rebooking Julley. Jack was very well cared for, played with, and comfortable. She provided daily updates and pics of Jack as well. Highly recommend Julley😊”

“Pascal absolutely loved his stay and came home worn out from playing and snuggling! We got lots of updates and felt good knowing Pascal was in absolutely fantastic hands! 10/10 would recommend!!!”

“Jillian was amazing with my slightly neurotic dog! He came back happy and relaxed, which is absolutely not always the case. We will absolutely be using her again!”

Renee and Christopher are so loving to our senior dog Jeffrey and they care for him like their own. They keep us informed of Jeffrey’s day. Jeffrey is always content and that makes me happy. When Jeffrey stays with Renee and Christopher I can get away knowing he is in good hands.

My dog was very happy to stay with her. She took him on walks and managed to feed my very picky dog lacking him less picky. She is patient and sent pictures of him every day to make sure that he was okay. I would let her take care my dog again next time if I go vacation.

William and Carol were fantastic. We booked them to watch our pup Reuben and they were very communicative, sent tons of photos, and we can tell Reuben had a great time with them. William is very knowledgeable about dogs and I felt like Reuben was in great hands in case anything went wrong with him. Highly recommend them!!!

Guidi was so sweet and attentive! I was looking for a last minute dog sitter and she got back to me so quickly. She gave my dog many walks, a lot of comfort and love to help him adjust to the new environment. She sent me updates everyday (videos and pics) and was great at communicating. I would definitely hire her again :)

We could not be happier with Drewan and Gregg! From the moment we dropped Gucci off, we knew she was in the best possible hands. They truly treated her like a member of their own family, showering her with love, attention, and plenty of affection. We absolutely loved receiving the daily photo, text, and video updates. Seeing Gucci looking so comfortable and happy gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Drewan and Gregg are incredibly professional, reliable, and genuinely passionate about pet care. Gucci came home happy, healthy, and relaxed. We will definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-tier pet sitters!

We can't thank Victoria enough for taking such amazing care of Mimi while we were away! It was so special knowing Mimi got to spend time with other Cavaliers in such a loving, welcoming environment. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
