About: Have owned dogs for over 20 years, pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors. I am over cautious and protective when it comes to animals, I'm also active so love walking dogs, throwing a ball for them, or taking them to our local lake for a swim. I have tons of patience for shy dogs, I have dealt with rescue dogs and know when to get close or not to an animal. I have never had an incident where I have had a dog become aggressive with me. I have taken my own dog to obedience school a few times and learned a few key trips for working with difficult dogs or puppies. I have taken care of puppies within the past three years and am comfortable with the extra care they require. I have a solid connection with our local vet and emergency animal hospital and am able to handle dogs who need shots or medications administered. I work from home and have several pets already needing care. Bathroom breaks, walks, ball throwing, catnip time, all of it already happens in my home. We have several pet fences within our home and a puppy proof first floor. If a pet is okay of leash then we walk them around our 4 acres throwing a ball or whatever the pet likes. If a pet is not okay off leash, then we just walk them on a leash on our land every 1.5 or 2 hours or as needed. Water bowls are everywhere, no chemicals are on site within reach of curious puppies, and no cars move very quickly on our driveway and everyone who does arrive at our home knows we have several pets and need to slow down. We have owned dogs for over 25 years and have never had any of our pets get injured.

About: I have been taking care of pets of family and neighbors since I was 18. Love to walk and play with them. I have a lot of experience. I am currently just doing afternoons 4-11 during the week but weekends I am able any time of the day if needed it. About: I'm a lover of play, exploration, rest, and relationship building -- with human and non-human creatures alike! I have 15+ years of experience tending to dogs of all sizes and temperaments, enjoy long walks as much as they do, and particularly enjoy sending photo updates to the families I sit for. I've been told I "play with dogs like they're [my] siblings" and that I'm both "a black cat and a golden retriever in spirit" -- all this to say, I get animals, and they get me. :) I'm currently working in a university counseling center, supporting students of all ages through the transitions of their lives. This is a typical 9-5 job (with one remote day/week coming Spring 2027) -- so I'd pair well with animals that can do okay on their own during work hours. I like to learn an animal's routines and do my best to replicate them during a sit, so as not to cause any anxious critter more stress. I have a good track record for reading an animal's body language and know when to give cuddles, when to give space, and when to know something's "off" that needs more serious attention.

We even have photographic proof, thanks to Cam managing to snap a photo whilst actively petting him. About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. Walking, feeding, and bathing both dogs and cats. I consider my pets family members! All of my babies are rescues. I have trained my dog through the GoodPup app and he knows the commands sit, stay, lay down, up, paw, leave it, heal, touch, and find it. All my pets are given enrichment activities throughout the day. They’re also stimulated with play/exercise. I know dog and cat body language. I have worked with dogs that have seizure disorders and know how to administer medication to both cats and dogs. I’m work Monday to Friday with my weekends free and open. My work schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. I can take dogs for long walks, stimulate them through play, or with enrichment activities. I can administer medication if needed.
