About: Hi, my name is Amelia Reedy. I have been taking care of dogs all my life, whether it be for neighbors or family, and have experience with all sizes of furry friends. Currently within my home, I take care of my two middle-aged dogs. I also often take care of my grandmother’s senior chocolate lab. My childhood pet whom my family had for 16 years, Sierra, was an Australian Cattle Dog with lots of energy, so I am also quite experienced with active pups that require considerable amounts of exercise. Overall, my goal is take care of your companions in a manner that will keep both them and you as happy and comfortable as possible! I am currently enrolled at Virginia Commonwealth University, so I am a seasonal sitter for the summer months and will be available during breaks as well. I am free and flexible to watch dogs each day of the week. Sunday evenings are the only times which I am unavailable to do so. I am available to care of your pet at your home, as I have three dogs of my own in my home that are sometimes unpredictable with new dogs.

About: I have 7 years experience as a veterinary technician and many more just in general. I have a bachelor’s degree in pre-veterinary biology along with many animal internship experiences. Available 24/7 when needed. Along with my children, we can give your pets attention and lots of love! If your pet does not like children we can also establish another plan of care. Please know that I make my plans around watching and taking care of your fur babies so that I can give them all the love and attention I possibly can while you are away! I have a giant fenced in yard and a very friendly dog. I am able to come to your house for potty breaks and feedings. I do require proof of up to date vaccines (bordatella, rabies and distemper.) Must also have an up to date NEGATIVE fecal and heartworm test and your pet must be up to date on flea and tick medication.

About: I have owned dogs for my whole life. I have also fostered for the past 5+ years. I am well suited for any type of dog at any age. I am comfortable with special dietary needs, medications, Baths, walks, hikes ect. I am a stay at home mom of 11 year old twins, also animal lovers. I am self employed and have a very flexible schedule We do not have a fenced in yard however we live on a very private 12 acres with plenty of space for walks, hikes and adventure. I have 3 very well behaved dogs that know the rules! I do have crates and small playpen fences if required and am happy to make any necessary accommodations.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. They truly are a man’s bestfriend. At home I have a beautiful white lab, he is 95lbs of pure love thinking he’s a lapdog. I also have a King Charles Cavalier that is the princess of the house. She is so happy and spunky and keeps us all laughing. Previously I have owned Cocker Spaniels, other Labs and a Maltese. I started dogsitting when I was 11 years old. I had just arrived at my grandparents house and I saw this little dog wandering around and he ran right to me and I saw the owner walking towards me up the road. The puppy let me pick him up and we walked all the way to the owner. He and his wife were pilots so whenever they were flying I was working and I was ecstatic to have my first job looking after their two dogs. Through the years I’ve done Bathing, walks, feeding, medications, shots , vet trips, etc. I truly love dogs and seeing them happy, and giving their families peace of mind that their beloved pups will be well loved while they are gone. I send texts and pictures of each visit and keep in communication with the family. If you choose to trust me with your four legged family member I guarantee they will be well taken care of and loved. I am a teacher so I have Summers to offer. My Schedule throughout the school year fills up so book in advance because I also do tutoring, and nannying throughout the week. I would love to meet you and your pup. Just reach out! I will not be able to have any dogs in my home personally because of home owner restrictions. In the clients home I would provide feelings, walks, medication, or whatever else the puppy would need. If there is a history of dogfights or biting I am not the person for you.

About: I am owned by my Australian Shepherd mix Luke, Flat Coat Retreiver Mack, chihuahua mix Dover and Jack Russel Dallas and I am here to put your mind at ease while you go on vacation or out of town for a business trip! I also have extensive experience with the feline variety. I am an EMT-B for humans, but I have also taken training classes in dog/cat CPR and Heimlich. Not that we will need it. I have experience in administering medication by mouth, IM injections and testing blood glucose. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I would prefer to stay in your home so that the fur kid will be more comfortable and maybe it will help with any separation anxiety. I do not mind bringing in the mail or any other task that may be similar.

About: I have grown up surrounded by all sorts of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, bearded dragons, chickens, and more, which sparked my lifelong passion for animal care. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech, where I deepened my knowledge of animal health, behavior, and management. Additionally, I worked for three years in a veterinary hospital, where I gained hands-on experience assisting with medical procedures, patient care, and client education. These experiences have provided me with a strong foundation in animal science and care across a wide range of species. Growing up with all kinds of animals and earning my degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech, I’ve always had a deep love and understanding of animals. About: I have been pet sitting and house sitting for 1+ days at a time for about 11 years. I treat every home with respect and all pets as my own. I love bonding with and meeting new animals! Each family I've sat for has called me back to sit for them again! Additionally, I have met many new doggos when babysitting in new family's homes. I always treat the pets just as well as the kiddos, giving them lots of love and behind the ear scratches. My family has always had dogs and I've loved dogs of all breeds since I was a little girl. I am a full time speech-language pathologist during the school year, but have flexibility in my schedule and I’m working from home half of the week. I am available for am/pm/afternoon drop in/walk visits and some weekends depending on location and dates. In your home I am comfortable and confident in my abilities taking your dogs out for walks on leashes, or leaving them out in the backyard to get some movement. I can stay and play for a while as needed to give them attention. I have a loving pit-mix at home. If our dogs got along we could potentially plan on having your pet come stay with us for a week/weekend! Additionally, we do have enough space (2 level home), a crate, and a fenced in yard so we can accommodate having another dog who does not get along with other dogs.

About: I have pet-sat since I was in high school, and I have become a reliable person to care for friends' and co-workers' pets. I have pet-sit overnight many times and have cared for young and older cats and dogs. I'm a teacher, so I am currently off for the summer. I have PT 2-3 times a week and have a vacation planned in July. I can do mornings/afternoons/evenings depending on the day. A few of the dogs I cared for had an electric fence or a fenced in back yard. I have a fenced in backyard at my home and have let the family pet (who belongs to my parents) play in the area. I have taken the family pet for walks around the neighborhood, and am willing to do so, if needed. My home is also an open space, making it a safe and comfortable area for pets to enjoy.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 5. More than 40 years of having pets as part of my family, taking care of them and sitting for them occassionally. I have trained cats to use litter boxes. My specialty is love and gentle care. I like to pet and brush animals, and show them how much they matter with crooning and hugs. I have cared for elderly cats as well, as I had one cqt live to the age of 22. I have one pet family member, an orange tabby named Biscuits N. Gravy. Pet care is part of my routine, every day. I have partial weekends free to take care of other awesome animals. My cat, Biscuits, has all the comforts and spoils of a truly beloved pet. Numerous lounging spots, window seats and heated floors in the colder months. He is loved by all who meet him and has regular treats bought for him. I give him at least one treat a day. I cuddle him when he lets me, and he loves his belly rubs (unusual for a cat, I know!). I would give the same attention to other pets in my care. I love dogs too, enjoying long walks, playing with pets in general, and spoiling them with love.
