“I have to be very picky when choosing sitters as one pup has separation anxiety and will not stay with just anyone. I have had many issues with past sitters being dishonest and not following my guidance but I HIGHLY recommend Tanine!!! I have two very high energy pups (golden doodle and lab). She kept me updated, good and bad, and made sure to give my pup his meds with enough time for them to be effective prior to crating. She ensured to make them as comfortable as possible through the day and I truly appreciate her level of care. I specifically chose her due to the training background and I am so glad I followed through though there were not many reviews. I did not have to ask for pictures or updates throughout. She has small children that seem to love dogs so I know my pups received comfort as they love children. She is a gem! About: My name is Alexis F. and I have over 15 years experience with dogs. We've had dogs in my family since before I was born but I really started training at the age of 7 with a local 4H club. In my free time I enjoy training animals in agility, obedience, and tracking. I have experience working with intact animals and managing dogs with behavior issues. I feel that every dog can be a good dog if they are set up for success. Every walk we take is considered training and they will be given a chance to use their brain to their fullest potential. During your dogs walks I offer two types of walk options. The first walk I offer is a training walk where we will spend 15 minutes working on heeling and 15 minutes allowing the dog to smell and go potty. I also offer hikes where your dog will be allowed to walk 1-4 miles over varying terrain depending on their fitness level and ability to get along with other animals. We try to follow owners daily routines the best we can when you leave your dog in our care so that transitions from house to house go as smooth as possible. I am well versed in giving medication and injections for dogs and I am happy to board dogs with special needs. I do ask that dogs are reasonably crate trained so that if they need to be left unattended for any amount of time they can remain in a crate for their safety. I am happy to discuss specific needs as far as crating goes. I am currently only working part time hours and am home most of the days. When I am not a home the pets are carefully monitored by camera in a dog safe part of the house. And given different items to keep them busy and enjoying their alone time. Whenever they have been in the crate they can expect a nice long romp around the property to give them ample time to use their nose and get a good run in. I have a fenced in small dog yard and we have a perimeter fence around our entire property allowing an additional level if security. When our on walks we make sure harnesses and collars are fit correctly and if there is a chance of a dog being a flight risk we take extra measures to prevent dogs from slipping out of collars. I am experienced in off leash trained dogs and I am happy to follow any specific instructions for what owners are comfortable allowing their dogs to do.

We have bred each of them once and are used to having small puppies around. We have a large, fenced backyard for your dog to play safely. Your dog will be part of the family during their stay. We will take them on daily walks and will receive lots of cuddles. Besides intermittent outings, I will be home with your dog, the whole time. I have had dogs for many years, but I have dog sat dogs for the last two years. Your dog will be a part of our family. I homeschool my children and so we are home most of the time. We do have outings but are usually back within 4 hours. I can usually accommodate our schedule if your pet needs care more often than that, if I know in advance. I have a fenced back yard and two dogs of my own. I can also crate the dogs or separate the different areas of the house if there are any safety concerns.

In my home or a client’s, I follow each pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, play, and rest, while giving them plenty of love and attention to keep them comfortable. We can work on learning new tricks and reinforcing obedience training.
About: I have been pet sitting and house sitting for 1+ days at a time for about 11 years. I treat every home with respect and all pets as my own. I love bonding with and meeting new animals! Each family I've sat for has called me back to sit for them again! Additionally, I have met many new doggos when babysitting in new family's homes. I always treat the pets just as well as the kiddos, giving them lots of love and behind the ear scratches. My family has always had dogs and I've loved dogs of all breeds since I was a little girl. I am a full time speech-language pathologist during the school year, but have flexibility in my schedule and I’m working from home half of the week. I am available for am/pm/afternoon drop in/walk visits and some weekends depending on location and dates. In your home I am comfortable and confident in my abilities taking your dogs out for walks on leashes, or leaving them out in the backyard to get some movement. I can stay and play for a while as needed to give them attention. I have a loving pit-mix at home. If our dogs got along we could potentially plan on having your pet come stay with us for a week/weekend! Additionally, we do have enough space (2 level home), a crate, and a fenced in yard so we can accommodate having another dog who does not get along with other dogs.
About: I love animals. I will take the best care of your pet. I'm fine with handling aggressive ones and bigger dogs too. I've taken care of animals all my life, so you can travel without a worry. “I have to be very picky when choosing sitters as one pup has separation anxiety and will not stay with just anyone. I have had many issues with past sitters being dishonest and not following my guidance but I HIGHLY recommend Tanine!!! I have two very high energy pups (golden doodle and lab). She kept me updated, good and bad, and made sure to give my pup his meds with enough time for them to be effective prior to crating. She ensured to make them as comfortable as possible through the day and I truly appreciate her level of care.
