“Kelly was fantastic! She was on time and hung out with Dixie for a little bit. She made sure Dixie had fresh water and got to hang out in the sun for a few minutes. We’re so thankful to Kelly for taking such good care of our baby!”

“Madison was great. I appreciate having someone in my neighborhood to quickly respond and accept requests to drop in on Nova. This allows me the freedom to take jobs out of town last minute when they pop up. Knowing my dog is in safe hands is a major comfort.”

“Kathy is the ideal sitter for our cat - caring, prompt, following his twice daily feeding needs & preferences, providing play time for him.. and bonding well. Best of all were the photos she sent at each visit, giving us daily laughs and smiles at his antics and cute poses she captured. Thank you, Kathy! Hope you’re available next time!”

About: I have over one year of experience caring for dogs through fostering, dog walking, grooming, and daily pet care. As a nursing student, I have developed strong caregiving, observation, and communication skills that I naturally extend to every pet I care for. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and paying attention to individual needs, whether that means providing exercise, companionship, grooming, or maintaining routines. I take pride in keeping pet parents informed with real-time updates, photos, and videos, ensuring they always know how their furry family members are doing. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. I maintain a reliable schedule that allows me to provide consistent pet care. I’m available after 2:00 PM Monday–Wednesday and have flexible availability Thursday–Sunday for morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I’m committed to giving pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need while accommodating each pet parent’s schedule whenever possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live on a quiet, low-traffic road with a large yard for supervised play and outdoor time. For added peace of mind, my property is equipped with security cameras to help ensure a safe environment for your furry family member.
About: I have loved 3 senior dogs over the rainbow. I have a high energy cattle dog. I've had squirrels, cats ,bunnies, roosters, ducks. All that needed individual care at different times. I'm confident administering medicine and giving arthritis massages. I am a college student who just wants some relaxing and fun work around furry friends. I have availability most weekdays and weekends with enough notice. My animals are my babies first and foremost. Other people's animals are also my babies so any care coming from me would be exactly what I would do for my own.
“We are so lucky to have found Breezy here. Our first time using drop in services and we had complete peace of mind while out of town knowing our fur babies would be cared for in our home. Every drop in we received photos and details. Plus our dogs loveeeee Breezy. I’m pretty sure they could care less that we weren’t home because their new favorite person was there.”

“We had a great experience with Andrea. She was incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and clearly took the time to make sure everything was handled exactly how we like it. Most importantly, Suma really enjoyed her and had a great time playing. She was always prompt and communicative, sending lots of updates, photos, and messages during her visits—which I know many pet owners will really appreciate. You can tell she genuinely cares and puts in the extra effort. She’s newer to Rover, but you wouldn’t know it from the level of care and professionalism she brings. We’d absolutely book her again!”

“Katelyne was so easy to work with! Wore our pup out and took great care of our chickens, while keeping us updated on how they were doing the whole time. Will definitely be using her again!”

I enjoy taking care of all dogs, young, old, big, or small. I can give oral or injectable medications. I only use filtered water for my fur babies and yours, no tap water. “Tina was amazing! She took care of Martin like her own. We had her do a few drop ins while out of town and she kept us in the loop the entire time. She even offered to check on our pup when our flight was delayed. Tina made me feel like I could put my phone down and not worry if Marty was going to be taken care of. I definitely recommend Tina for your pet sitting needs.”

“This was our first time using Rover and we feel so lucky to have found Bonnie! She was very responsive to our frequent communication - answering questions, understanding when we needed to make a schedule change, and sharing updates and photos during her visits. Most importantly, she gave care and attention to our beloved Kiwi and for that we're very grateful! We highly recommend Bonnie and will definitely use her again.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
