“Kathy is the ideal sitter for our cat - caring, prompt, following his twice daily feeding needs & preferences, providing play time for him.. and bonding well. Best of all were the photos she sent at each visit, giving us daily laughs and smiles at his antics and cute poses she captured. Thank you, Kathy! Hope you’re available next time!”

“Corey is absolutely amazing with our now 4 month pup! She is a bit spicy and very stubborn, but she absolutely loves him so much! He gets down and plays with her and gives her a nice little break during the middle of the day while we are at work. I highly recommend Corey for any of your pet sitting needs! You can tell he has an absolute passion for taking care of pets and working with them!”

“This is the 2nd time Sophia has watched my cat while I was away on a trip and she is phenomenal. She sends lots of pictures and specific updates. When I come home I can always tell my cat has been well cared for! I highly recommend booking her for your pet care needs 😊”

About: Hello! My name is Hannah. Im a soon-to-be university student (in jan 2027) just trying to make money while doing the thing i love. I believe that every animal deserves to be loved, no matter big or small, special needs, anything. I hope you can give me a chance to watch over your pet while you're away or just to come visit and do hourly check ins. It would be a great opportunity. Thank you for reading this! If you're a client, please be sure to leave a review, reviews will help me improve and do better. If you liked my service, feel free to book again. ♡ Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine because I have animals that i take care of daily. Also, i have a lot of free time so ill be able to stay with your pet overnight, or even just visit and do potty breaks, and even walk your dogs. Once I start doing these, my days will be filled with more Pets and Pet care which i enjoy. I would care for pets in my clients home by making sure they are fed per instructions. I will walk your dog every 2-4 hours to use the potty and I'll make sure to clean their poop afterwards. I would also provide the dog with water, especially after walks if your pet is thirsty. If you usually give your pet a treat after using the bathroom, i will make sure to give them a treat. If your pet has an accident in your house, then i will make sure to clean it up. If you have any special requests for your pet, i will make sure to complete them. I will also spend time with your dog so that they are comfortable and happy while you are away. If you have a cat, i will make sure to feed your cat, per instructions, i will also make sure your cat has water and If there is any special requests then i will complete them. I will also give your cat attention so that they are also comfortable and happy while you are away.
About: I have loved 3 senior dogs over the rainbow. I have a high energy cattle dog. I've had squirrels, cats ,bunnies, roosters, ducks. All that needed individual care at different times. I'm confident administering medicine and giving arthritis massages. I am a college student who just wants some relaxing and fun work around furry friends. I have availability most weekdays and weekends with enough notice. My animals are my babies first and foremost. Other people's animals are also my babies so any care coming from me would be exactly what I would do for my own.
About: Hi, I'm Elizabeth! Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up around dogs, cats, horses, and livestock, and I've spent years caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I have professional experience working in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant, where I gained hands-on experience monitoring pets, administering medications, recognizing signs of illness, and providing compassionate care. I also own and operate my own animal wellness business, where I provide PEMF therapy to help support recovery, mobility, and overall wellness for animals. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, overnight care, or just someone to give them extra love and attention while you're away, I'll treat them like they're my own. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and stress-free. With me, you can expect: * Reliable, honest, and dependable care * Frequent photo and video updates * Plenty of playtime, exercise, and cuddles * Experience with puppies, senior pets, and pets with special needs * Comfortable administering oral medications and following detailed care instructions * Respect for your home and your pet's routine My goal is to give you complete peace of mind while you're away, knowing your furry family member is in caring and experienced hands. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to accommodate drop-in visits, dog walks, and pet sitting throughout the week, including many evenings and weekends. I make it a priority to provide dependable, on-time care while keeping each pet's routine as consistent as possible. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, playtime, feeding, medication, or extra attention while you're away, I'm happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. I provide care exclusively in my clients' homes, where pets are most comfortable and can maintain their normal routine. At this time, I do not board pets in my own home or offer overnight stays. During each visit, I make sure your pet has fresh food and water, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I'm happy to follow your pet's normal schedule, administer oral medications if needed, and provide any additional care instructions you leave. For pets that need more attention, I can make multiple visits throughout the day and stay for extended periods to ensure they receive the care, companionship, and exercise they need while you're away. My goal is to keep your pet safe, happy, and as stress-free as possible, and I'll send regular photo and video updates so you always know how they're doing.
“We had a great experience with Andrea. She was incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and clearly took the time to make sure everything was handled exactly how we like it. Most importantly, Suma really enjoyed her and had a great time playing. She was always prompt and communicative, sending lots of updates, photos, and messages during her visits—which I know many pet owners will really appreciate. You can tell she genuinely cares and puts in the extra effort. She’s newer to Rover, but you wouldn’t know it from the level of care and professionalism she brings. We’d absolutely book her again!”

“Jessica was so nice to take care of our two kitties - checking in on them twice a day, even making sure they were okay during a Tropical Storm! Great communication! Jessica was so sweet to send us pictures at each visit all the while keeping us updatied not only on the cats but our home! Will definitely have Jessica take care of our fur babies again!”

I have a fenced yard, two friendly dogs of my own to keep your babies company and I have a crate I can use if you prefer or if needed.

“Tina was amazing! She took care of Martin like her own. We had her do a few drop ins while out of town and she kept us in the loop the entire time. She even offered to check on our pup when our flight was delayed. Tina made me feel like I could put my phone down and not worry if Marty was going to be taken care of. I definitely recommend Tina for your pet sitting needs.”

“This was our first time using Rover and we feel so lucky to have found Bonnie! She was very responsive to our frequent communication - answering questions, understanding when we needed to make a schedule change, and sharing updates and photos during her visits. Most importantly, she gave care and attention to our beloved Kiwi and for that we're very grateful! We highly recommend Bonnie and will definitely use her again.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
