“Marta was great with my two cats. She spent a little extra time with them one day when they seemed lonely and made sure they were happy and cared for while we were away for over 6 days. Her communication was outstanding and her caring spirit showed with both my cats snuggling with her, which they don't typically do with strangers.”

About: I have grown up having a dog. My dog is now 18 years old (I know!) Friends and family know me as an animal lover. I will treat your pets as if they were my own! I’m currently home full time which gives me the opportunity to care for your pets around the clock! I welcome pets into my home or can come to yours! I am open to boarding pets in our home if you would prefer! We have a large fenced in back yard for them to get exercise. I can also come to your home to care for them as well!

“Catherine is lovely! She came to meet the pups before her scheduled visit to make sure she had all the details she’d need to take care of them AND she sent me some pictures of them the day of which made my day at work! Will definitely have her pop in on them again if I’m unable to get them out in the afternoon!”

“Stephanie takes great care of all of our pets, is quick to respond to questions/concerns about them, and was able to accommodate our booking on a day's notice due to a family emergency that required us to travel immediately. I highly recommend her!”

“I was devastated at the thought of leaving my dog while going on a trip to Europe (I rarely travel for this reason). I found Corinne on Rover and she immediately put me at ease that my dog would be well taken care of while I was away. Corinne was outstanding at communicating with me before, during, and after my trip and I could not have been happier with how she sent me pictures and updates every day! Corinne exceeded all expectations in the care she took of my doodle with thoughtfulness, proactive actions when she noticed he could get into trouble when getting into areas he should not be in, playing with him, giving him treats, and asking great questions if she had any concerns! She is smart, organized, thorough, and proactive with everything she does. I didn't think it was possible to not worry while I was away, but Corinne managed to put me at ease which was not easy to do. I am very overprotective of my pup and I owe so much to Corinne for dealing with all my notes, directions, and separation anxiety, hahaha. I highly, highly recommend Corinne, she was outstanding and will use her again a million percent when ever needed. I may even think about travelling more because of her! Thank you again Corinne, we really appreciate you!”

“Jacqueline was exceptional all around! She took really good care of our cat, and was very communicative with thoughtful updates about him during each visit. Our cat needs medication twice a day, his food needs to be served in a specific manner (or else he won't eat it), and he does tend to throw up from time to time (which he did when we were gone) - but Jacqueline handled it all to perfection. She was very generous with her time, and we are sure that our cat is already looking forward to her next visit.”

“Shannon is an amazing cat sitter, highly recommend. She asked very thorough and thoughtful questions about our two cats' care needs ahead of our leave, has been very communicative, accommodating and punctual during visits. Shannon is also a great kitty photographer to boot. Will definitely be contacting to re-book for future needs!”

About: I have been cat/dog sitting for 3 years now. I have experience taking care of cats. Ive also watched many different types of dogs including large ones. Ive always been a huge animal lover and growing up around dogs always walking and taking care of them, making sure they get the love they deserve. I love doing anything that I can for the animal community Im currently working on online college so im looking to get any side jobs i can in the meantime to try and make some money right now In a client’s home, I carefully follow their instructions and routines to maintain consistency for the pet, and I always respect their space and privacy. I give regular updates to the owner, and I’m prepared to handle emergencies responsibly. I keep their living areas clean, make sure they are fed and have fresh water daily and pay close attention to their health, including administering medication if required. Overall, I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing them with patience, affection, and attentive care

About: I have cared for two dogs of my own since I was eight, and have tended to many other domestic pets throughout the years. I am skilled in house-training and teaching commands, from experience with training my own dogs. I have administered medication (both topical and oral) to and performed first aid for multiple dogs. I am vigilant to pet behavior and competent at analyzing pet body language and communication, particularly that of dogs and cats. I am practiced at grooming (i.e. bathing, brushing, trimming nails, and cleaning ears) even the most nervous of dogs. Most importantly, I treat every pet like my own. I look forward to working with you and your pet! I'm currently a student, and will soon be getting a part-time job. All of my classes occur between the hours of 8AM and 1PM throughout the week. My work hours will be very flexible, leaving me plenty of time in the afternoons or evenings to check in with your pet! During most weekends I will be available for overnight stays, check-ins, walks... You name it! I am committed to providing an environment appropriate for your pet. Is he a senior in need of a relaxing environment, lots of love and occasional playing or walks? I can do that! Is she still young and full of energy? I'll reciprocate that energy, offering lots of play time and stimulating activities! Be assured that I will also take care of your pet's daily physical needs, as well. I promise to care for your pet, as if they were my own. In the same way, I will care for your property with the same enthusiasm and respect.

“Nicole was amazing! She was punctual, paid close attention to details, and was ready to help out issues in my apartment. She sent me pic of my cat everyday while I was away, which gave me a sense of comfort for my cat. I’ll definitely ask her to help me again in the future!”

About: I've taken care of animals for most of my life; I've been a pet sitter multiple times, caring for animals of various ages and health statuses. I am able to administer medications comfortably, and will be happy to do so if needed! I have two dogs and a cat of my own, so I am quite used to the flow of pet care. I'm used to long walks, making breakfast and dinner, giving supplements, and the like. I try to make my clients pets as comfortable as possible, which is why I offer overnight stays at the clients house. I can crate dogs if necessary, among other things.

About: I have cared for animals my whole life, which has given me a lot of experience and patience. I had a cat for 15 years and three years ago I rescued a dog when she was just seven months old. I trained her myself and taught her tricks, and over time she has become my best friend. Now that I’m home from college, I take care of her full-time and I’m open to caring for other dogs or pets full-time as well. Because of this, I’m comfortable with puppies, training, and giving lots of attention and love to pets of all ages. I recently graduated from Elon University and I’m currently in the process of job searching, so my schedule is wide open right now. I have a dog of my own, so I’m already used to planning my days around walks, feedings, and spending quality time with her. Pet care is something I enjoy and take seriously. Since I have the time and experience, I’m excited to help take care of other people’s pets and make sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I keep pets comfortable and happy whether they’re at my home or theirs. I have a fenced-in backyard for safe play, plenty of treats, and my dog loves having other dogs to play with. I follow any care instructions closely and make sure pets get lots of attention and exercise. I also send updates so owners know their pets are doing well.

About: Hi! Nice to meet you. I am a local petsitter with 6+ years of experience petsitting and a lifetime of experience around animals. Other than petsitting I work at a local pet store, if you know me say hello! Branching out my client base to Rover and am excited for the chance to meet more furry friends. I have experience caring for all kinds of pets, puppies and kittens, dogs and cats with medical conditions requiring administration of regular meds or insulin, pets with strict dietary requirements, challenging feeding regimens, strong pullers, leash aggressive dogs and fearful feral cats. I also have experience with aquatic pets, small animals and some experience with lizards and birds. Pets are truly my life! And I know your pets are Your life so I will always do everything to ensure your pets are loved, safe, and cared for while you are away, and we will have lots of fun too! I work at a pet store 6 days a week from 10-6. For pets needing 1-2 visits a day they will happen before and/or after those hours. For pets needing overnights my overnights begin after work and last through the morning. They end with an included midday walk on my lunch break when a mid day visit is required. This schedule ensures I am only ever away for 4-5 hours at a time. Pets I care for must be ok with some time by themselves during the daytime. As I work at a pet store I can grab any forgotten or necessary items for your pet easily anytime. This schedule generally works for my clients and the majority of pet owners however for special circumstances I can make some special adjustments for specific days if necessary. I require all of my clients to provide up to date vet information, emergency contact info and allow me permission to seek emergency care for their pets if the need was to ever arise. I have never had to use that information for any emergencies to this date but I will always ask for it. Other than that I will strictly follow all rules requested of me, I never do any off leash (electric fence is ok) and will only ever provide pets the snacks and food that are indicated to me. I will never take any unnecessary risks with your pet or with your home. I am always exceptionally respectful with homes and try to leave them as close to how it was before I arrived as possible. I will make sure plants are watered, mail is inside and check in regularly with images. I do not provide full home cleaning services however I will wash the things that are requested of me (bedding towels etc), clean after myself in all regards and ensure pet environments and bowls are kept reasonably clean and tidy.
