“Jessica is the sweetest and most responsible young person I have ever met. I would adopt her if I could. Ms. Jessica is very professional, polite and oh so responsible. My Cookie is not friendly to most people, but Jessica made her so comfortable and treated her like her own. I have never had such a relaxing vacation as I have this time. Jessica is beautiful inside and out, and such a delightful young lady!!”

“Great pet sitter that your pets will love! Repeat client, love how responsive and kind Sara is and how she takes such wonderful care of our cats and home. Will keep using Sara over and over.”

“I'm gonna keep this short and sweet for all y'all. There's no better pick in the Crosby area than Amy. Like, I'm not convinced she isn't an angel sent from heaven. 5 out of 5 stars doesn't even do it justice. It's like 15 out of 5 stars.”

“Payton was an absolutely fantastic cat sitter, and I can’t recommend her enough. She cared for my cat over multiple days and consistently showed dedication and reliability with three drop-in visits each day—early morning, midday, and late at night. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cat was being checked on regularly and thoughtfully. What really stood out was her communication. Payton is incredibly responsive and always lets us know ahead of time if there are any changes to her usual schedule, which I really appreciated. It made it easy to stay informed and feel confident everything was under control. After every visit, she sent a sweet update along with photos, which truly made my day and reassured me that my cat was happy and well cared for. On top of that, she was very attentive to our home—bringing in packages and making sure everything, including the alarm system, was secure and functioning properly. Overall, Payton went above and beyond. She is reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and thoughtful pet sitter.”

“TLDR: Giselle is amazing with both immediately friendly dogs and reactive dogs who need longer to warm up. Giselle was amazing with both of our girls! We have a labradoodle who is a true velcro dog and a terrier mix who is not a fan of strangers. We went through rover because we wanted our dogs to start getting used to new people. I was extremely nervous about leaving our terrier mix with someone new. She's not a biter but she does bark and charge at strangers who go near her. We scheduled a meet and greet a few days early with Giselle and she stayed until the terrier settled. During the actual drop ins, at first the terrier did not want to go to Giselle at all but Giselle was patient and sat with her to show her she was safe. By the second or third drop in, the terrier was not just okay with Giselle but genuinely excited to see her! We were so relieved that our dogs were comfortable while we were away.”

“Jennifer was nothing short of absolutely A-MAZING!!! We could NOT be more happy we found her! We are SO excited to have found this service and even MORE excited to know Jennifer is someone we can rely on in the future! WOW! We WILL call on her again!!”

About: As a lifelong dog lover and owner of two high-maintenance pups, I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for your pets when you’re away. This keeps it warm, professional, and emphasizes reliability while making it clear what you offer As a stay-at-home dog mom and wife, pet care is a natural part of my daily life. My flexible schedule allows me to provide reliable, attentive, and loving care during drop-ins . Since I’m home most of the time, I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s routine and providing them with the care and attention they deserve. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I prioritize their comfort, routine, and well-being. I follow any specific instructions provided, ensuring that feeding schedules, potty breaks, medication, and playtime are handled just as the owner would. I also give pets plenty of attention, affection, and exercise to keep them happy and relaxed while their family is away. I make sure to clean up after them, refresh water bowls, and provide updates with pictures or messages so owners have peace of mind. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for in their own familiar environment.

We have a HUGE fenced yard and dogs love it to run around and play catch with us. We take walks in our small deadend subdivision or in the forest trail walk next to us .

About: I’m a 24 year old woman, who grew up with animals and riding horses. While in high school I would pet sit for my neighbors, and really enjoyed doing that. I have fostered kittens and I’m very familiar with taking care of cats as I have two of my own. Growing up with dogs ranging from 95 pounds to 11 pounds gives me a wide range of experience. I was an equestrian rider and would spend most of my time at the barn around a variety of animals. I’m looking to growing my career in animal sitting and animal care, and would love the opportunity to take care of your fur baby. I currently have a part time job aside from pet sitting fur babies. My hours are flexible, seven days a week as my schedule permits. I’m able to play with, give attention, scoop litter, feed and give treats, and I am also able to walk dogs if needed. While visiting your fur baby, their health and well being is my top priority. While tending to them I will also be observing for anything that seems out of the ordinary. I will give a brief summary after each visit with pictures.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
