“TLDR: Giselle is amazing with both immediately friendly dogs and reactive dogs who need longer to warm up. Giselle was amazing with both of our girls! We have a labradoodle who is a true velcro dog and a terrier mix who is not a fan of strangers. We went through rover because we wanted our dogs to start getting used to new people. I was extremely nervous about leaving our terrier mix with someone new. She's not a biter but she does bark and charge at strangers who go near her. We scheduled a meet and greet a few days early with Giselle and she stayed until the terrier settled. During the actual drop ins, at first the terrier did not want to go to Giselle at all but Giselle was patient and sat with her to show her she was safe. By the second or third drop in, the terrier was not just okay with Giselle but genuinely excited to see her! We were so relieved that our dogs were comfortable while we were away.”

I have two cats and a golden retriever, and they get along well with other animals too! I’m always taking care of my pets, so adding another would be a joy. About: Always had a dog in the house since I was a kid and been around them all my life from the smallest dog to the largest being a Great Dane, I have patients for dogs and the knowledge especially being someone new to them to handle them with care. Working full time but looking for extra activities in the evening and this would be perfect especially wanting to get more exercise and seeing new animals is a plus! I have three cats and a small dog in a two story apartment, they eat twice a day and spend time with my wife and son at home, but caring for pets in other people’s home I know is uncomfortable sometimes so I would treat even home visit with the same respect I’d want for my home and treat your pets with more care
