“Jared did an excellent job boarding Fiona, a ~2.5 year old pit mix that is brand new to our home. Jared came over for a meet and greet, where he let Fiona snuggle up to him which he interspersed with little checks, like touching her ears or feet to see how she responded. We sat in the back yard for a while talking about Fiona, his dog Bart, and his background - and after a while he suggested that he thought it would work well to board her at his place. I brought Fiona over there to see how she did in that environment, and she was very comfortable there. Jared sent me photos and updates throughout, reporting on how Fiona and Bart were doing together. They started with short play sessions until they got more familiar with each other. This was my first time ever leaving my dog canela with someone else and for few nights, I honestly was afraid she would have so much anxiety especially being around other dogs. Jared was very kind and kept me updated on how she was doing including sending pictures of her which helped me not feel anxious. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a few tips on how to help my dog not be anxious when being in a crate and with her barking at other dogs. I am definitely going to be requesting Jared to dog sit as he was amazing and I could tell that my dog canela felt welcomed and at home plus made some friends 🥰 I recommend Jared for sure to anyone needing to have their dogs watched for.
The best sitters we have had for our dogs. My golden retriever is getting palliative chemotherapy and has quite a few meds and other needs and I was nervous leaving him for 3 nights. They had no issues with providing the care that Arnie needed and gave me plenty of updates to reassure me. They went on walks, played with the sitters dog, and slept wherever they wanted. An added bonus-the pictures they took were amazing!!!
The people in this home made Mabel feel welcomed and loved. How do I know? All of the pictures and updates Christine sent me! I was able to work out of town without worrying about my girl, Mabes. My work can be stressful, and not having to worry about Mabel means so much to me. I will definitely want Mabel to go back to Christine's home!
Finding Alexa to board and care for Mimi Roo was the best experience I could have wished for. Her many years of taking care of dogs showed by her caring and attentive attitude and approach to my doggie. Alexa helped me tremendously by going above and beyond when an unexpected veterinary visit was required with follow-up care for 1 1/2 weeks. She took it in stride and provided daily medication administration and extra baths. I will definitely ask her to care for my doggie again and highly recommend her skills and dog care services.
