About: Hello Everyone! My name is Angelica and my husband and I live in a clean, smoke free, first floor apartment in Tempe, AZ. Our complex features a private dog park, access to a small public park, and a quiet, safe walking trail. We are also just a short drive from Kiwanis Park! We share our home with a introverted elderly cat and a friendly older dog. A little bit about me, I grew up with pets my entire life and have spent the past 9 years providing care for both dogs and cats of all temperaments. Whether your dog is high-energy or prefers to lounge around, I can easily accommodate them. I am experienced in specialized care, including: • Senior pets and puppies/kittens •Shy or anxious dogs • Reactive dogs • Post-operative recovery and physical disabilities • Incontinence care and administering oral medications • Properly fitting muzzles, specialized harnesses, dog diapers, and dog shoes I can also teach basic tricks and provide extra supervision for pets who need a little more support. Currently, I accommodate cats of all sizes and small-to-large dogs (under 100 pounds). If you prefer your pet to stay in their own environment, I am also available for house sitting and can travel upon reasonable request. Each day, I will provide detailed updates with plenty of photos so you never have to worry. We look forward to meeting your furry family members and learning more about them! As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of maintaining a routine and providing adequate enrichment. My husband and I both work full time but his job allows more flexibility to work from home or take time to drop in during the day. We both work for schools so we are typically available more during school breaks ( spring break, fall break, major holidays, and winter break). Here is an example of the routine you can expect when boarding with us. This is also the same routine our pets are on. Unless otherwise stated, all potty breaks are done every 4-5 hours, but can be adjusted depending on your preference. • Morning (6:00 AM – 8:00 AM): First-round feeding, fresh water refills, morning potty break. • Midday (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM): Midday drop-in visits for a potty break and a short walk. • Afternoon (4:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Additional enrichment, pet play sessions, bathroom breaks. • Evening & Overnight (6:00 PM Onward): Dinner feedings, evening walks, litter box scooping for cats, and final bathroom break During your pet's stay, they will enjoy their own private room equipped with air conditioning and two entry points. They will have full, supervised access to the apartment during the day and will sleep in their private room at night. While our cat is friendly with dogs, your pet's safety and comfort are our top priorities; therefore, our cat will remain in a separate bedroom with zero contact with your pet. For added peace of mind, the private guest room has a motion alert camera so I can monitor any late night activity and ensure they are feel safe and comfortable. My ultimate goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while away from home.
