About: Hi there! We're Stephanie and Joseph, and we've been passionate pet sitters for over 6 years. Our experience spans all breeds and sizes! In October 2021, we adopted and welcomed our own four-legged family member, Shyla, an American Terrier. She’s been an incredible addition to our lives and absolutely loves making new furry friends. About: I'm from Costa Rica, but I've been in AZ for 10 years now. I've had dogs pretty much my whole life. Now I live in Tempe near the mall, and there's a park right by my apartment. My job's flexible, so I can give whatever care is needed. I love all breeds. I work from home for Bank of America, so I get off around 3 or 4, depending on daylight savings. About: I am here for all the little doggies. I have a teacup yorkie myself. Small dogs need a safe place to be loved. Where their little egos can be fed and they can get all the cuddles needed while away from their family. I have a good size backyard, but they aren't allowed out there without supervision for their safety. My neighborhood has beautiful walking paths for daily walks. We have enough room where your dog could have a safe place of their own if he needed at nighttime. I do daily walks with my dog that your dog could join if they like. I work from home full-time so potty breaks and cuddles could be frequent if needed. Also because I work from home, if your dog prefers 3 smaller meals a day I can accommodate that type of scheduled. I would accommodate any diet schedule/accommodations needed. Some medications I could administer if needed. Your dog would get at least one walk per day. Nice backyard for them to play in. Back yard is fully fenced and does not have a pool.
About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! From snow days and trampoline adventures with my dog Bear to life with my two loyal Rhodesian Ridgebacks, animals have always been my happy place. These days, our sweet rescue Stella keeps life calm and cozy, and I still find that animals naturally seem to trust and connect with me. I’ve even taken obedience training classes because I genuinely love learning more about dog behavior and communication. I’m comfortable with energetic pups, gentle seniors, big dogs, little dogs, and yes — cats too (even if we can’t have them at home because of allergies). My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into our family’s daily routine. I’m a teacher, so I’m home during summers and school breaks, including two weeks each in fall, winter, and spring. My work schedule when teaching allows me to stop by home during lunch to check in on pets and I’m home by 3:30 PM leaving the evening open for playtime and companionship. Our two boys (13 and 15) also love animals and are learning responsibility by helping care for pets alongside me — giving extra love, playtime, walks, and attention. As a family, we’re able to comfortably provide care in our home or stop by for feedings, walks, check-ins, and play visits throughout the day. During the school year, I’m available before 7:00 AM and after 3:30 PM. I care for pets like they’re part of the family! I love greeting them with excitement, giving them attention, playtime, cuddles, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I enjoy taking dogs on walks or runs, playing fetch, and honestly love when they get the zoomies and show their personalities. Safety is always a priority. In our home, pets are supervised and can be safely crated or given their own quiet room if needed for rest, comfort, or separation. We have a fully fenced yard for outdoor play and a dog door so pets can move in and out comfortably throughout the day. We do have a pool that is not fenced, so I make sure dogs are monitored outside and will always follow the owner’s instructions regarding outdoor access and supervision. About: My house has always been a home to a wide variety of pets, from dogs and cats to tortoises, bunnies, fish, and hamsters. Growing up surrounded by them means caring for animals has become a natural part of my life, and I developed a deep love for them early on. I am currently working part-time as an intern at ASU, and hours are very flexible, so I can be available to care for your pets whenever needed! I would feed them on schedule and play with them for hours. I would follow the exact instructions given and make sure to give them their medicine on time if necessary.

About: I am a very patient, compassionate animal lover with more than 25 years of personal pet ownership and sitting experience (both dogs & cats). I have 10 years of rescue engagement where I fostered 100+ animals that included care for sick, injured, scared, and skittish animals. I fed, walked, groomed, healed/trained the animals and provided medication as well as support for vet visits. I evaluated potential adopters and coordinated placements into the most ideal permanent homes. I also have experience (and a very big soft spot) for senior and disabled animals that need additional care and support. I am comfortable with providing required medication such as topicals, eye drops, oral chemo, CBD, etc., and any care that requires diapers, wheelchairs or other types of medical support. I recently moved to Arizona from Washington to be closer to aging parents. I do not currently work and my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to weekends and holidays, sitting at my place or at the clients home. I do occassionally travel but that will be noted on the Rover calendar as needed. The safety and security of the animal and the clients home is priority #1 for me. I have high situational awareness (at home or in public spaces) that is always focused on the well being of the pet. I currently have one Chiweenie that lives elsewhere, so pets staying at my house would have full run of the kitchen, living room and bedroom (with them never out of sight). There is access to a fully fenced yard from both the living room and the bedroom. They are welcome to sit on the couch if that is their preference. Also, sharing the bed here is totally fine. The typical home ambience is quiet and calm.

About: I have had the ability to have 2 small shelter rescue dogs, Neptune and Apollo. Neptune is no longer with us, but he and Apollo were both well trained and loved life. I have grown up around dogs and dog sat for several family members and friends in the past. I will make sure your dog is having fun and loving life when they are with me. I am currently a college student and have a very flexible schedual with most afternoon and evenings available along with the weekends. I do attend church for 2 hours on Sunday, but other than that I can be with your pet all weekend long. I check water bowls every hour and set alarms on my phone to make sure I never miss feeding time or medication. I play with your pets and take them on long walks when it is safe temperature wise to do so. Any medical concern will be run by the pet parent first unless a dire emergency arises, in which I will need preference(s) for vet(s) in the area listed ahead of time.

I have always loved animals, so this sounded like a great opportunity to make a little extra money and to do what I love. I have experience taking care of dogs as small as a Chihuahua to as big as a Great Dane. I currently do not have any pets. In the past 2 years I have lost my cats who I had for 16 and 18 years. Also in the past I have owned dogs, cats, parakeets, and beta fish. I love all animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, potbelly pigs, snakes and lizards, etc. Please pick me to care for your pets and/or fur babies. I promise to give them lots of love and attention! My kids are good around animals. They especially love cats and dogs! We make sure that they pet them gently. If the animal seems upset or irritated we make sure our kids do not pet them. I require a meet and greet before booking a request. I also would like to only watch dogs that are house trained and at least 2 years of age. I do watch 2 dogs at a time, but only if they are from the same household and smaller. I am a stay at home mom so most of my time is spent at home. My kids and I will give your fur baby plenty of attention. I have a gated patio and a fenced in side yard that wraps around to the back of the house. Your pet will be perfectly safe in my yard and at my house.
About: When I was a little kid, I dreamed of living on a farm and caring for all the animals! As a lifelong animal lover, I've always had pets around. Growing up, my family had a total of five dogs and five cats (thankfully not all at the same time or in the same household LOL), so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, many friends have entrusted me with the care of their pets while they traveled, and two years ago I finally got my first dog as an adult. What a joy it has been to have her in my life! Since she came from the streets with no known background, I dove headfirst into learning about dog behavior and training so I could give her the best life possible. I have become incredibly interested in animal behavior and have spent the last few years learning about dog communication, training methods, and behavior modification. I've completed two online courses through Leerburg University: "Training Dogs with Food" by Ed Frawley and "Developing a Relationship with Your Dog" by Michael Ellis, in addition to spending countless hours learning from respected trainers via YouTube and other educational resources. I'm very familiar with concepts such as marker training, classical and operant conditioning, leash-pressure training, loose-leash walking, and more. While I am not a professional dog trainer, I have seriously considered pursuing it as a career and have had great success applying these methods with my own dogs. I believe this knowledge helps me better understand and care for pets of all personalities, including those who may be shy, anxious, reactive, or have other behavioral challenges. That said, I want to be clear that I would never attempt to train your pet or change any behaviors without your permission. I would never overstep those boundaries. However, I'm always happy to discuss any behavioral concerns you may have and, if you'd like, support any training goals you're already working on. I currently work a few evening shifts each week (3–11 PM), so I’m consistently available mornings and midday. For house-sitting, I’m available anytime for pets that are comfortable being alone during those hours. If your pet needs full-time companionship, I can also arrange days off with about one week’s notice. Accountability is crucial with pets, especially for those with behavioral issues! I am committed to keeping a watchful eye on your pets while in the home, taking them out for regular potty breaks and exercise, and maintaining their usual schedule. I also have a fur-baby of my own- a loving and friendly dog, and if your dog would benefit from a companion to play or socialize with, I'd love to bring her along as well. Of course only with your permission and proper introductions.

She was very patient and understanding of our dogs “quarks”. My dogs became very comfortable at her home and comfortable with her dog. About: Hi! Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started caring for animals at a young age, was involved in FFA, and later worked for a veterinarian, where I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of dogs and situations. I also foster for a Labrador Retriever rescue, which has given me experience with dogs of all personalities — from confident and playful to shy and unsure. I have two dogs of my own: Griffin, my 14-year-old Lab who I’ve raised since he was a puppy, and Mia, my Golden Retriever who joined our family three years ago. Having a senior dog has taught me how important patience, routine, and gentle care are. Your dog will be treated like one of my own — with lots of love, attention, and care. I work a full time job just five minutes from home. My dog comes to work with me and yours can too. I am only available for pet care in my home. Your dog’s safety is very important to me. I have a secure, fenced yard and a doggie door so they can move comfortably between indoors and outdoors. There is also a swimming pool for dogs who love the water, and I always supervise closely anytime dogs are near the pool.
