About: Recently lost my 14 year old corgi named Penny. The house feels very empty and since I’m not looking into getting a new dog I thought dog sitting would be a nice option to try. Fenced yard, hardwood floors, easily divided up rooms if needed. I work Monday - Thursday 7:30-5 but if needed would be able to come let a dog out during lunch. I love dogs and would treat any animal as if it was my own. I work Monday - Thursday 7:30-5. Able to come home during lunch to let a dog out if needed. My evenings are very open and can be dedicated to the dog I am watching. Fenced yard, no children or dogs in the home. There is an inground pool but dogs will be monitored. No neighbor dogs on either side to cause dog stress or barking

About: Hi there! My name is Kayla and I have been a dog lover since I got my first dog at 7 years old. I grew up with a Golden Retriever (Jeter), when he passed I was devastated, but knew I could not live without a dog in my life. I got a mini golden doodle (Rylee) who is currently 4 years old. I also ended up adopting a heeler/dachshund mix (Mavis) who is 7 months old. I have experience working with all different sized animals of all ages. I took care of my senior dog, assisting him with a broken leg and have experience with puppies and training. Pets are family and I know how important it is to find a caring and loving individual to be with your pet, let me be that person for you! I am currently a school counselor with many days off during the summer and breaks. I am able to board your furry friend on weekends and during days off! I live on 3 acres of land with enough space for your pet to run and play. Right up the road is my mother’s house who lives on 60 acres of land and a pond if your dog likes to swim where I can take them to anytime! “Dan and his family were excellent dog sitters for our pup who stayed with them for 3 nights. She is 7 months old and this was our first time leaving her with anyone so I was very nervous. We did a meet and greet and Dan and his family made us feel comfortable right away. During her stay, he was very responsive to texts and gave multiple updates about what they did and even sent pics! They have a nice background where our girl was able to run around and play and their house is very spacious and clean. They took her on multiple long walks during her stay and when we picked her up on Sunday and brought her home I could not believe how exhausted she was! She’s a puppy with lots of energy so to see her passed out means she must’ve had a great time getting lots of attention and exercise! I definitely would not hesitate to have Dan dog sit again for us and I’m grateful to know I now have someone that she & I both trust & feel comfortable with. About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: I have taken care of many dogs throughout the years. I have had multiple dogs growing up, as well as fostering for a local Rescue for 9 years now. I have dealt with multiple breeds, sizes, and ages. 🐾 I work part-time and our teenage kids get home around 2:30. So on longer shift days they still have an option for midday potty breaks. We have a 6ft tall kennel area or a lot of land to explore, on leash. Also have a cable run. Will never have an unknown dog off leash.

What does your pet need? I am happy to accommodate. I work occasionally this summer but virtually. I have time to walk the dog and also have a wonderful fenced in yard. I have a lot of free time to dedicate to animals. I make sure the dog feels at home. I used the fenced in yard so that they have enough space to play. I go on a couple of walks a day.

About: I was a dog runner in NYC for 2 years, I grew up with a hunting dog, I've had multiple Chihuahuas as pets. I also have tended to all my dogs needs, included bathing and nail trimming. We have a trail through the woods to walk around as well.
