“As all true dog lovers know, a dog is not just a pet, it is a member of the family. As such, I am very cautious about where and who I leave my dog with. As we had never had to leave our Violet with anyone, my wife and I were very worried when we had to leave our girl for almost 2 weeks. We did not feel comfortable boarding her at a kennel as we didn’t think she would respond well to that environment. So, we went to Rover to see if we could find someone we thought would be a good fit for our Violet. After reading multiple write ups on various Rover sitters, we found Erika who we thought looked like a good fit and was close to our home. At our meet and greet with Erika, my wife and I had perfect peace as we met with Erika and saw the home where Violet would be staying. Erika had a warm and inviting home, a fenced in backyard, and the perfect playmate, ( her dog Huxley) for our girl Violet. My wife and I decided immediately that this home and sitter would be the perfect fit for Violet. We were not disappointed! Erika loved our Violet as much as she loved her own dog and showered her with love and affection. She sent us daily pictures and videos of Violet and her dog playing, napping, and just having a wonderful time. She was having so much fun. We jokingly, worried that Violet wouldn’t want to come home with us after spending time with Erika. Ha Ha. In summary, any dog would be lucky to spend time with Erika. She is an amazing person and we were so happy we found her. This app only let me put in a rating of 5 stars, but if I could have, I would have put in 10 or more stars in rating her performance. We would definitely use Erika again in the future, if and when we needed to board our Violet. My only worry is that after reading my review of Erika, everyone will want to board with her and I won’t be able to have my Violet stay with her when I next need her. Ha ha.”

“Ayah was a blessing!! This was our first time needing a cat sitter and I was a little nervous. Mr. Winston can be a little shy and usually hides when new people come over. But Ayah was able to get him out of hiding and he actually started to greet her when she would come over. She treated him so good while we were gone and I didn't worry at all. About: I’ve had three dogs of my own for about 12 years. I have two pugs and one frenchie. My oldest dog is 12 and I give him his medicine and help him get around. My middle dog is 8, and my youngest is 1. I feed my dogs, wash them, walk them, play with them, and administer their medicine. I had to take care of my dogs all throughout my life before they had to be put down. I had a bullmastiff whose journey ended at 9.5 yrs old due to cancer. “Mindy provided day care for my aunt's dog, Sassy, while we visited Niagara Falls from Arkansas. Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their fur babies and I've been handling & working with dogs almost every day for almost two years as a doggy daycare attendant, kennel staff, special pup advisor, and group coordinator. I love taking them on walks and practicing sits, stays, downs, give paws, etc... I absolutely love all animals and promise to take care of your babies as if they were my own! I currently work part-time so I'll have plenty of time to check in on & spend with your pets! I'm available Saturdays before 12pm, Sundays all day, & most holidays before 3pm. Weekday hours vary and I will always be super transparent about my availability! Your pets' safety is important to me so please feel free to leave detailed instructions and I will follow them to a T. I will also keep consistent contact with you, providing (p)updates with photos! I can crate your dog(s) if needed as well. I'm also Red Cross animal first aid certified. I've handled several scuffles and am able to remain calm in any situation that may arise. Your pet will always be safe with me!

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since the age of 12. I have dog sat for many relatives, and I take extremely good care of my beagle! I have plenty of free time as I recently graduated college and most of my grad school classes will be online, I also love going on walks, and would love for a furry friend to join me! I can also easily crate your dog if needed and if you forgot your fur baby’s food will be provided at the times you request along with fresh water. About: I’m a heavy hearted dog sitter with years of experience, having hosted plenty of dogs (and cats & reptiles) in the safety of my home with no problems whatsoever. I have light vet medical knowledge if you have a pup that needs the extra care. Frequent potty breaks, I like to take them outside about every hour for a tink or quick run. When the weather isn’t snow or rain they can get long walks by the water (if you approve), they always love it. I base my prices so low because I genuinely enjoy this.
