About: Hello! I was in the service industry for over 25 years, and developed lots of allergies…so I am now the Barktender! I own my own business, offering cleaning, petsitting and other services my commUNITY may need. Very rewarding! Love my life! I am using Rover to fill in the few gaps I have, hopefully outside my home area, to travel more. The winters are getting too long for me, after being in the mountains for almost 20 years. I have been apprenticing under a dog trainer for several years and about to venture on my own! I have experience with some livestock and eager for more experience! I have a thirst for knowledge and learn quickly. I love animals and do my best to treat all the animals as my own. I own my own business and try to schedule jobs to accommodate to your pets needs. I do cleaning, yard work etc on the side and my schedule is very flexible. I can not have pets in my home. This is why I started the business. I love animals and hard to find pet friendly places in the mountains! Your pets are my priority!

About: Bill Murray says it best: “I’m suspicious of people who don’t like dogs, but I trust a dog when it doesn’t like a person.” I’m an all-around absolute animal lover but there’s just that something about dogs that I drool over. Dogs understand me and I understand them, similar to whisperer status. I’ve been known to greet dogs before I acknowledge its human(s) but I know none of you blame me for that! About: There is nothing better than a dog's love, they are man's best friend for a reason! I've been around dogs most of my life, and there are no better companions in life. I live a very active lifestyle, and would love the opportunity to exercise with a furry jogging buddy. I'm not sure which of us would get tired of playing fetch in the park first! I have yet to meet a dog that outmatched my energy and love for the outdoors, and that convinces most dogs that I'm a good friend to have. If your dog is the lazy quiet type, that's no problem. We'll still go out for a walk or a jog but will spend most of our time playing inside, maybe watching Air Bud? (Ha!)

I have dog, cat, horse, chicken, sheep etc. care knowledge.I consider time spent with animals, my happy place to be! Pet care fits into my routine because I have Wednesday-Friday off! About: I have taken care of pets in all shapes and sizes since I was young. Love spoiling them, going on long walks and taking photos of them being their cute selves. I work full time but wake up early, and get off work early so I’m able to tend to pets at most hours of the day. I love spoiling pets with love and attention, whether it be longs walks, short walks, playtime or just sitting and petting them. I am gentle with pets, and show them the love they deserve.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals of many different kinds including my own. I personally own a dog and cat who were both babies when I adopted them. I took training classes to train my beautiful pitty Sammy. I have helped many neighbors and friends to watch their pets, some were more exotic than others (chinchillas, snakes, and more). I have had to give medication to many animals including my own. I love all types of animals. I make sure that their home is cleaned and that they always have fresh water and food. I also make sure that they receive plenty of attention, this includes play time, cuddles, and walks. Whatever they require or need, I always make sure they get it! MY ANIMALS CURRENTLY DON’T LIVE WITH ME I am currently working full time (5 days on and 2 days off, not in till 10:00 so I can easily wake up early and make sure there is food/water and bathroom breaks are provided before I head back when I am off. I will make sure that your animal(s) will get to know me beforehand. Whether I come over to meet them beforehand or take my time and go slow. I can easily crate your dog(s) if needed to be. My dog gets separation anxiety so I understand how stressful it can be at times. I have plenty of experience to make sure that your loved one(s) are well taken care of.

About: Love borrowing my friends dogs for hikes! I do a lot of hiking alone, so it makes me feel a little bit safer to take a pup on a hike with me. Hikes are about an hour long. I have several long time clients throughout the county, that I help while out of town or walk dogs weekly. I have watched cats, Small dogs, all the way up to an Alaskan Malamutes, she just passed away so I am looking for a new dog bff. I have taken care of dogs my whole life and have dog sat for different families for years so I am used to a variety of dogs and their different needs. I have a small, unfenced in patio/yard and a park across the street from home. I’m a busy bartender and server on the weekends, so weekdays I’m more available to help out more full time. Over nights are doable more full time! I have several long time clients throughout the county, that I help while out of town or walk dogs weekly. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and honestly can’t remember a time when there wasn’t a pup in the house. I grew up in a family that always had multiple dogs at once — labs, cocker spaniels, dachshunds, golden retrievers, goldendoodles — plus all the neighborhood dogs that seemed to end up at our place for playdates or pet sitting. Caring for different breeds and personalities has always just been part of my daily life, not something I had to learn later. Since moving out on my own, my roommates have almost always had dogs, and I naturally end up sharing responsibilities — walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure they feel loved and included. I’m a big “dog person” in every sense: I connect with dogs quickly, read their body language well, and make a real effort to help them feel safe, calm, and happy while their people are away. Whether your dog is high-energy and playful or more of a couch snuggler, I’ll treat them like my own and keep you updated so you can relax while you’re gone. I currently work fully remote and have about a 20 to 30 hour per week workload, which leaves me with plenty of extra time each and every day! I’m a very active person and tend to fill my downtime with walking hiking cross country skiing or downhill skiing whenever I can and my flexible schedule certainly helps that. I’ll be more than happy to do just about anything that you request to make your dog happy and comfortable. Let’s just talk about it first!

About: I grew up with a rescue dog, raising him from a puppy all the way through his life. This came with challenges due to his background, and he required a lot of extra care and training. I am very used to puppies or dogs that may be extra energetic or need extra attention. I am still surrounded my family members' dogs, and I have housesat for other dogs in the past as well for weeks at a time. I thoroughly enjoy playing with them and helping out when I can. Although I don't have a dog myself right now, I will always take an opportunity to hang out with a dog while helping the owner out as well! I currently work a full time job, but my hours are flexible, so I have some time before/during/after work. I also get an hour break in the middle of my day, which is a great time to take a dog for a walk or stop by and let the dog out. Weekdays are best, but I am usually around on weekends as well. I don't currently have any pets, but when I had a dog we had an electric fence and were able to let him out to run freely. I am used to walking dogs on leashes, but happy to let them off leash or take to the dog park at the owner's discretion. I always discuss with the owner what toys the dog is allowed to have, how much to feed them, how often they should be let out, how many walks a day, how they act with other dogs, and overall care in the home.
