“Johnathan was great. Took good care of Henry and he can be quite a handful at times. Loved getting daily updates and photos. The house was very clean when we got home. The only thing that disappointed us was the strong oder from the dirty liter box upon return. As I mentioned in my notes, Henry likes a clean liter box and it should have been cleaned before he left and our return. Johnathan is very sweet and treated Henry with love and kindness. I would definitely hire him again and absolutely recommend him to others, and have to my friends we vacationed with as they vacation alot and may need a sitter one day for their fur babies. Thank you Johnathan.”

“Audrey is a gem! My dog was unwell while I was away and Audrey handled everything so perfectly and with great calm. She took such good care of my fur baby and I am so grateful. Will continue to look to Audrey for my dog’s care!”

“Brittany was so great with our Blubird! It was our first time using Rover and we were nervous. She communicated daily, sent questions and updates, CLEANED OUR HOUSE!, and made us feel really comfortable while away. We will definitely be booking with her again.”

“We went out of town for a few days and had Leo house sit and watch our two pups. We loved the daily updates and the dogs seemed very happy when we got home. We really appreciated Leo taking care of our home and our dogs while we were away and would definitely hire him again.”

“Dee was fantastic. She knows how to handle animals. She will spoil your best friend while you are away on your vacation. We were away for 9 days and normally we would have felt the need to contact past sitters to check in, with Dee we did not. She sent us pictures and gave us updates through the Rover app. Our house was nice and clean when we arrived back home and nothing was missing (HONEST DOG/HOUSE SITTER) hard to find. You will be happy you selected Dee.”

“Aylene was so great when it came to our shy puppy. He needs someone who is patient with him and accepts his fearful behavior, and she did exactly that. She sent me updates and sent pictures that helped soothe being away from him. I would absolutely book her again for Zeus.”

About: I have been around all type of animals since I was born. I grew up with a weekly visit to my families farm, which kickstarted my passion for animal-care and provided a strong foundation to understanding all creatures and ensuring they are living their best lives. In high school, I worked at a dog-boarding facility called Shamrock Ranch, feeding, walking, and loving on the residents. Since graduating in 2020 and moving to San Diego, I have acquired my own pack of 3 land-sharks, all with their own array of needs being rescue dogs. Hence, I am capable and comfortable handling dogs with special needs, reactivity, and those who just need a little longer to warm up. I also have been rescuing rats for years, so I am very familiar with their needs and would love to help with yours! I currently only work at farmers markets on the weekends serving up Buddah bowls, so my schedule is wide-open on weekdays and weekend afternoons / evenings. Having rescue dogs with different needs, I am always very aware of my surroundings and observant of potential triggers. I am also a very detail oriented person, always double-checking that the doors are locked behind me, etc.

About: Hi There! I've had all kinds of pets for my entire life. From rambunctious sheepdogs and sensitive chihuahuas, to gentle senior cats and curious kittens. I currently share my home with Stella, an 11 year old chihuahua/terrier mix, Raymond, a 15 year old domestic short hair cat, and Oscar, a nine-month old domestic short hair kitten, so I understand the unique needs of both senior pets and energetic youngsters! Whether it’s administering medications, offering extra patience for older pets, or keeping playful pups and curious kittens engaged and enriched, I bring attentiveness, compassion, and a calm, reassuring presence to every pet I care for. I’d love to give your pet the same level of love and care I give my own! I am currently available at all times during the week to attend to your pets. My flexible schedule allows me to take the time your pets need to eat, play and have genuine interactions with humans. I always ensure that collars with identifying tags are on before walks, and will never leave an animal out of my sight while caring for them. For households with cats, I am extremely cautious opening doors to the outside so as not to have an escapee on our hands. My number one priority is the safety of your pets, and that requires vigilance and focus.

“Sent pictures and updates.I was not home when she came to sit and he wouldn’t let her in at first but she was very patient and waited for him to be comfortable. 10/10.”

“Matt is the absolute best!! Very sweet and kind to my 13 year old black Lab. From the meet and greet I could tell Matt was very sweet to my Lola and empathetic to my anxiety of leaving my elderly pup alone. Matt was very attentive to following the list of directions for my pups eating and med routine and was so kind to send me updates each time food, meds and potty breaks happened. Matt sent tons of pics all day. Already booking Matt for my next trip. Thank you Matt you are an angel.”

“Alyssa house-sat for us, watching our senior dog and cat, and they loved her! She was very communicative and put our minds at ease while we traveled!”

“Olivia is a great communicator and regularly updated me with photos and texts. I felt very confident that my dogs and cats were well cared for and would absolutely recommend Olivia to take care of your fur kids.”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats with special needs since I was in college. I also have extensive personal experience with caring for senior pets. I'm currently working part time so I will have lots of time to play with your pups. I'm available for visits 7 days a week and boarding Thursdays through Monday. I have a fenced yard and 1 senior doxie who loves to go on walks and play in the yard. I am meticulous when it comes to caring for pets. Their safety and happiness are my top concerns.

“Calla is wonderful and my girls love spending time with her. I don’t have to worry while I’m away because I know they are in good hands, and Calla always sends pics and updates throughout the stay. Definitely will keep booking with Calla!!”

About: I have always had at least one pet in my life and have always been active in helping take care of them. I have had a dog my whole life and have independently taken care of my dogs for long periods of time. I am a compassionate, thoughtful, and competent caretaker who would love to take care of your four-legged family member! I am extremely flexible and available. For the most part, my days are completely free so I can take care of your pets whenever you need! I like to follow the routine that works best for the pet and make sure to take them on at least 2 walks a day. Additionally, your pet will be getting lots of cuddles and play time from me! Lastly, I’ll make sure all of your pets needs (bathroom, play, walk, etc) are taken care of before I leave.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was eight years old, when I got my first soul pet, Mimi. She was my best friend, and I was lucky to share 19 beautiful years with her. Since then, I’ve lived with and helped raise six more dogs, including my sweet Luna, who we adopted during the pandemic. There’s nothing I love more than spending time with dogs, and it would truly be an honor to care for and bond with yours. I bring years of hands-on experience, deep affection, and a calm, responsible approach to every dog I meet! I’m a graduate student at SDSU studying public health, so I’m definitely available during the evenings and weekends, and my weekdays are often flexible. I always make time for my pups, and I’d be happy to work around your schedule to make sure your dog gets all the love and care they need. I live in a cozy apartment with my sweet 6-year-old Pomchi mix, Luna. She’s incredibly gentle, friendly, and used to being around other dogs. I have a large crate available if needed, and I treat all pets like family. Luna is allowed on the couch, but I always wash her paws after our daily walks. I keep pee pads down just in case, and there are always plenty of toys, treats, and fresh water to keep pups happy and comfortable. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow all your instructions carefully. I stick to your dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications they need. I also keep your home clean and tidy, and I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: I love to spend as much as time as possible with your babies! I have been pet sitting for over 15 years. I have sat overnight with up to four large dogs and up to four cats. I have taken care of senior pets as well, having administered insulin to a diabetic senior kitty. I currently have two part-time jobs, which allow me the time and the freedom to pet sit. I can pop over between jobs or before and after my short shifts. I rarely work doubles, and if I do, I would not commit to pet sit. I make sure to keep a very strong eye on small animals when they are outside in any capacity as this is coyote country. I tend not to let cats out at all, unless given specific permission. Your pet's safety is my highest priority.

“Chase was so great with my fur babes! He sent videos and stayed with them the entire time. From the videos I could see they loved him. They followed him around and were their usual selves which tells us a lot from watching them with different people they don’t know. He spent time with them outside and hung out with our rabbit too. We would love to have him back in the future!”

“Lilia was the first sitter that was able to win over our skeptical pug during our meet and greet so I knew we had found a gem. She took great care of our pugs, plants, and home and did a great job communicating and sharing photos. We’d love to have her back!”
