My work is freelance and gig based, so I often have large stretches of time open and my day to day routine is very flexible. I typically try to book Housesitting stays about a month in advance, but if I am available, I am happy to book last minute! Call it a cruel twist of fate, but my landlord doesn’t allow pets. So, I have TONS of love to share with yours! While I won’t be bringing any of your furry friends home with me, I am always willing to come to them and provide care in the space they are most familiar with and comfortable in. About: I used to volunteer at a local animal shelter. I took a course on animal handling, how to decrease frustration, anxiety and stress (FAS) for animals in the shelter, body language, how emotional health impacts an animal’s physical health, etc. I have a certificate in keeping a shelter Fear Free. My family and friends have relied on me in the past to dogsit their fur-babies. I have a large extended family with pets of all kinds, from German Shepard’s, Labradors and Cocker Spaniels, to mixed breeds and Tabby cats. Five of them are shelter rescues and one chihuahua-dashscund. For all of the animals I have taken care of, I came to their home so that the animals remained comfortable. I love all of my fur-babies, and I’m thankful that my family trusts me enough to take care of them while they’re away on vacation. Important Note: If you’re wanting to do more “meet and greets” after the first one in order for your pet to get more comfortable around me, I will be charging the same price as it would be for a drop-in (about $15 depending on the pet care). Another Important Note: I can give oral medication by putting it into their food. I can not, however, give it to the pet straight. My work schedule varies every week. However, I usually work from either 8:30 AM or 10 AM to 4 or 5 PM. I wouldn’t mind discussing the details in-person. My living situation does not allow me to petsit in my own home, however, I am able to petsit in my clients’ homes. When it comes to animals, I am very responsible. I take my job as a pet-sitter very seriously. I am able to give them any medications if needed at certain days and times, walk them, feed them, etc.

About: I reside in my house in Ooltewah TN. I work from home for Cummins Inc, I have worked for them for a decade. Former Marine. Grew up with a choc lab and a dachshund. Had two pitbulls in recent years. Helped a neighbor with their dog who needed insulin shots after eating for a year. I can handle large/strong dogs and/or dogs with behavioral issues. I’m available to house sit for the weekend or perhaps a drop in to hang out with your pup(s) for a while. I’m working full time during the week. And I exercise often as well. But on weekends I do not have much going on and would like to provide service for your weekend away and tend to your pups and give my time to them for their comfort. Some dogs require more attention than others, but all dogs need connection and exercise while maintaining a comfortable environment for them they can fit in, like a pack.
