About: I am such an animal lover, and I like to think they love me too;) I have owned dogs my whole life and recently adopted a cat, Willow! I’m excited to meet and care for your pets:) I am a student at MTSU currently home for the summer, and I’m working part time at the moment. This means that I am available often! I am very attentive of my animals (currently one dog and one cat). I feed them on a consistent schedule and let the dog out every two-three hours. I also provide them with lots of attention, whether they would prefer to be in my skin (my dog) or relax in the same area without touch (my cat). I can be very adaptive to any animals’ needs!
“JaNiya did an awesome job checking in on my Diesel! She was always on time and communicated very well! I loved the pictures and video she sent me to reassure my Diesel was in good hands! I will definitely use JaNiya again! Thx JaNiya! Great job!”

“Austin did a great job with our boys (cats). He went out of his way to look for them to be sure they were ok. We will definitely want to use Austin again knowing how well he cared for them”

About: I’ve always had dogs and taken care of my families pets while they are gone. I currently work with the autistic population and love being a caregiver. I currently work 30 hours per week with large chunks of time available to love and care for pets. I’m also in a good location work wise for drop ins to visit your pet. I have a huge fenced in yard myself and could have overnights at my house. Still deciding if I wanna do that with my 2 dogs (whom are very sweet).
“Kelcie did so well with Enzo. He’s a dog with trust issues but warmed up to Kelcie quickly. Kelcie was great at communicating if she had to stop in later than usual and she took such good pictures of Enzo. I think they really grew attached to each other during the months I spent in Knoxville. We will surely miss her!”

About: I offer pet care with love, responsibility, and great attention to detail. I understand that every pet is part of the family, which is why I provide a safe, clean, and caring environment. Whether it’s walks, feeding, or companionship, your pet will be in good hands and receive the care they deserve. I work for myself, which gives me a very flexible schedule to care for your furry baby and give them plenty of attention and love. I also have two friendly dogs who love to play and socialize, so your pup will have great company and a fun, safe environment while in my care. I have a fenced backyard, which helps keep your baby safe and secure while they play and enjoy their time outside. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved like part of the family.
About: I enjoy dogs. I have had boxers, pit bulls, beagles, and a Belgian Malinois. Can help with basic commands. I also help a close friend with her dogs. I am currently staying at home and plan to start an animal behavior program soon. Learning more about dogs and their behaviors is interesting to me! I don’t have a fenced yard but I don’t allow my dog outside unsupervised. For walks, we always go on lease. My driveway is long and my pup loves to walk and run!

“AMAZING♥️ Sonia was just amazing with our baby. Beyond gratefull with all the great care she gave to our princess, she treated our pet as one of hers. Every visit she gave our baby so much love and cuddles, she played so much with her and send us all this amazing videos and photo updates which helped us so much with the anxiety of leaving our baby home. Tania even helped us vacuuming our cat hairs and taking out the trash on the last day, she truly went out of her way to give an amazing service. We would definitely booked her again without hesitation♥️”

About: Hi, I'm Carley or most know me as Angelina! I have been caring for furry fiends all my life! I have had a several goldens, yorkies, and my current little guy is a german short haired pointer! I absolutely love getting to play, walk, or snuggle with any pet of any size! I definitely believe the saying that a dog is a mans best friend and believe that we should treat our animals as such.I as a fellow dog mom understand how important it is to have someone you can trust watching a member of your family. I believe spending just a few hours with an pet (or human, in their case) can change the whole mood for the day. I am fairly flexible and willing to work with you to make sure your family member is cared for! From walking and check ins, to pet sitting, or even spending your day out with your four legged friend, I know your little friend will be loved and happy in my care. I feel comfortable feeding, playing with, walking, and even taking your pets on outings! My work schedule is a set one, so I can stop by before work, during my lunch break, or after work and anytime during the weekends. If you need something a little bit different let me know and I am happy to accommodate your needs! About: I used to volunteer at a local animal shelter. I took a course on animal handling, how to decrease frustration, anxiety and stress (FAS) for animals in the shelter, body language, how emotional health impacts an animal’s physical health, etc. I have a certificate in keeping a shelter Fear Free. My family and friends have relied on me in the past to dogsit their fur-babies. I have a large extended family with pets of all kinds, from German Shepard’s, Labradors and Cocker Spaniels, to mixed breeds and Tabby cats. Five of them are shelter rescues and one chihuahua-dashscund. For all of the animals I have taken care of, I came to their home so that the animals remained comfortable. I love all of my fur-babies, and I’m thankful that my family trusts me enough to take care of them while they’re away on vacation. Important Note: If you’re wanting to do more “meet and greets” after the first one in order for your pet to get more comfortable around me, I will be charging the same price as it would be for a drop-in (about $15 depending on the pet care). Another Important Note: I can give oral medication by putting it into their food. I can not, however, give it to the pet straight. My work schedule varies every week. However, I usually work from either 8:30 AM or 10 AM to 4 PM. I wouldn’t mind discussing the details in-person. My living situation does not allow me to petsit in my own home, however, I am able to petsit in my clients’ homes. When it comes to animals, I am very responsible. I take my job as a pet-sitter very seriously. I am able to give them any medications if needed at certain days and times, walk them, feed them, etc.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
