“Sophie's first visit with Kat - she returned to us relaxed and happy. Kat took her for 3 walks during the day and Sophie behaved better with her than she does with us on the leash. Kat helped Sophie through a little anxiety when an unexpected thunderstorm passed through. We hadn't told her about Sophie's fear of loud noises like gunshots, fireworks, and thunder - but she knew just what to do to help calm her. We're looking forward to another visit next week and more to come. About: I have fostered and worked with rescues in Canada when I lived there. I have also been a cat and dog mom for the last 26 years. I have potty trained and fostered puppies and abused animals from different situations. I am comfortable with administering medicine as well as insulin shots. I own my own home and can sit in my home or yours. When your fur babies are in my home they have full access to the entire home as well as yard. They can sleep in my room with me or if preferred in the living room. I love to drive so I can also pick up or go to appointments if needed. I am retired and have all the time in the world right now to do what makes me smile! That means being an amazing loving dog and cat sitter. I get up every morning take the dogs to the dog park or a good walk We go to the beach and go on trails exploring After a fun day we usually chill out when it’s especially hot and then have a nightly walk before heading to bed. I treat my dogs like family and if in my home they will have the house as they feel comfortable. If I am in your home I will follow any instructions left to insure that they are comfortable and consistent. I own my own home and have 2 fur babies of my own. A 15 year old bichon and an 8 year old cockapoo. If your animals come to my home they will be treated just like my own family. I am available for 24 hour care as well if needed for long periods of time. I do not crate my dogs they have free run of my home and furniture.

About: Vet assistant for 5+ years throughout NY, Aspiring vet tech taking classes online, Experienced dog walker and was an in home pet sitter prior to moving to FL. I have 4 cats. (My Chihuahua recently passed due to heart failure) I love all animals and am comfortable handling any size or shape. I prefer friendly animals (of course!) But I have dealt with aggressive dogs and succeeded in gaining their trust and building a great relationship with them. - I was the only walker, besides the business owner, who could tend to the Australian Shepherd. After figuring out how to leash him, once we got outside of his house he was a huge mush! We would picnic and exchange kisses (picture included in my photos)! As for cats... I owned an aggressive, biting cat. I don't think I could experience a worse cat. Without warning she attacked me and bit my hands, arms, and legs.. after medication with our vet she continued to live with us without incident until she passed from cancer in 2019. I love cats and would gladly check in on your cats and home while you are away: clean litter boxes, feed cats, play with them, etc. Kittens are welcome to stay at my home, but I feel adult cats would be more comfortable at their own home. I will no doubt treat your pet like my own furry family member. I can be home 99% of the time but whenever I do need to leave my husband works from home, so your pet will never be completely alone. I have a fenced in yard and live on a fairly quiet street. To ensure animals, including my own, don't get out, we typically only go through the garage so no risk of animals running out the front door.

About: We only accept ONE dog family at a time, so your pup will get our undivided attention & love. We also currently don’t have any dogs of our own. I grew up volunteering at hospitals and humane societies. We’ve worked with rescues and have fostered many animals. We know how to handle the pups that need extra patience, love & space. All our family pets have been adopted or have found us. We’re very patient & loving and have a knack at working with animals from horses, dogs, cats & birds. London has honors classes and lots of school work, so this is her way of earning $$ for a car 🚗 & college 👩‍🏫. With my supervision, of course. We’d prefer a meet and greet, even if it’s just video, to get to know each other, especially if there are any social or anxiety issues with your pup. I work as a court reporter full-time & thanks to technology, most of my work is now done from home. Most of my jobs that do take me out of the house, I’m only gone for about 4 hours total. London is in high school so gone during the day, but does do some online classes also. Between the two of us, the most your pup would be alone is 4 hours, if at all. When my daughter is home, she will be the main caretaker as this is her way to make money. Our yard is fenced with a 5 foot tall fence, but we do live on the Tomoka River. There is the option to walk your pup in the front of the house also. We will try, to the best of her ability, to follow the rules you’ve setout for your pup at your house. We want them to feel at home and make sure they don’t go home with any new habits that you may not enjoy.

About: I've grown up caring for family pets like dogs, fish, turtles, hamsters, and frogs. I've always enjoyed taking care of family and friends pet's while their away, including: cats, geckos, and horses. There's never been a time in my life where I didn't have at least two pets. I have four years experience working in the pet care industry. I started at a general practice veterinary clinic assisting with general veterinary procedures as well as caring for pets who were boarding at the facility. I also worked temporarily at an emergency veterinary clinic, monitoring patients and assisting with major procedures. About: I’m a dog breeder with over 10 years experience. Over the years of having my own pets I found making others happy by breeding my beautiful poodles and finding homes for her babies very rewarding. I have experience with house sitting dog sitting ,hosting, dog walking and some grooming. Since my poodles have passed on I decided to adopt 3 female cockapoo dogs.
