With dog-training experience, we read body language, reinforce routines, and prevent stress through structure, enrichment, and patient introductions. For cats and other species, we take a slower approach. We let them come to us, build confidence at their own pace, and feel secure through consistency. We often recommend multiple drop-ins before long trips, especially for shy or anxious pets, so we’re familiar faces before you leave. Whether we’re doing drop-ins or house sitting, we always do a final check to make sure pets are secure, litter boxes/yards are safe, and everyone has settled comfortably before bed. About: I have fostered and worked with rescues in Canada when I lived there. I have also been a cat and dog mom for the last 26 years. I have potty trained and fostered puppies and abused animals from different situations. I own my own home and can sit in my home or yours. I love to drive so I can also pick up or go to appointments if needed. I am retired and have all the time in the world right now to do what makes me smile! That means being an amazing loving dog and cat sitter. I get up every morning take the dogs to the dog park or a good walk We go to the beach and go on trails exploring After a fun day we usually chill out when it’s especially hot and then have a nightly walk before heading to bed. I treat my dogs like family and if in my home they will have the house as they feel comfortable. If I am in your home I will follow any instructions left to insure that they are comfortable and consistent. I own my own home and have 2 fur babies of my own. A 15 year old bichon and an 8 year old cockapoo. If your animals come to my home they will be treated just like my own family. I am available for 24 hour care as well if needed for long periods of time. I do not crate my dogs they have free run of my home and furniture.
