About: When I was younger, we had 3 dogs that I walked with my dad. He taught me everything I know about caring for and respecting pets. When I moved in with my mom, we got 3 cats. Until I moved away for college, I took care of our cats everyday no matter what. During grade school, I dog sat my aunt’s dachshund, Sammy. She was my aunt’s best friend and quickly became mine too! I love all pets and enjoy taking care of them. I’ll only ever provide the best care for your pets and hopefully they’ll have a great time hanging with me. I could teach them some new tricks, take them for extra long walks, or just chill and watch TV with them. I’m currently on summer break from teaching, so I have plenty of time for your fluffs! I am home most of the day and available 7 days a week. Whatever you need for your pet is what I provide. They will be treated how you treat them at home with lots of love and attention. There is a dog park in the neighborhood as well as lots of walking paths. Feel free to bring the crate, any treats, toys, or anything else your babies need to feel comfortable.

About: I have 2 pure bred german shepherds. They love to go on walks, play with ball (ball is life), love snuggles, and overall big fur babies. Have had experience house sitting with a friend. I’d love to help cater to your pets specific needs. I am also open to helping take care of reptiles. I have 2 bearded dragons, and one leopard gecko. I love snakes although i don’t have one of my own. I love to play with my reptiles and take them out and let them roam. Feedings are my favorite to watch !! I currently don’t have a job. I am looking for a part time position somewhere but in the meantime i’d love to be of help wherever i’m needed. I take my dogs on walks, occasionally to the beach and park, and enjoy walking on trails. My dogs has a lot of allergies so i understand how to give medicine and how to be sensitive to what needs the pet might require.

About: I have a four year old lab of my own and was lucky enough to spend 11 years with my childhood Boxer. I have lots of experience with dogs of all ages and energy levels, and feel comfortable administering medications to older dogs as well. I have been dog-sitting for several families over the years and love dogs of all sizes and breeds! (My favorite is a Great Dane, so no dog is too big!) I am currently an MBA student at FSU but I have a flexible week day schedule and full availability on the weekends. I would be more than happy to take your dog out on walks several times a day and don’t mind performing light housework! I also grew up with a cat, and have been cat sitting since I was 12, so I’d be more than happy to look over them as well! I’m currently working full-time, but work from home most days, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’ll try to keep your pups routine as consistent as possible. I am more than happy to stay overnight if requested, or would be happy to drive and do drop-in visits if that was more preferred.

About: Hi there, my name is Brittany! I grew up with 3 dogs, I am a cat mom, and I've loved every animal I've ever met like my own! I am an experienced sitter who you can trust to take amazing care of your pups and kitties. I take any (and all) opportunities to hang out with animals and love to take them on adventures. I understand your pet is your family and know what it's like to be away from fur babies. I'm a trustworthy and responsible person who goes above and beyond to ensure pets are taken care of beyond their basic needs. I am currently working part-time so I have a wide variety of availability. I can provide daily walks, feedings, and stop ins. I am the go-to pet sitter for my community. I find it easiest when an animal gets to stay in their normal home environment. I treat the safety and security of a home as if it was my own and I triple check entry-ways are secured and locked each use. I also take really cute pictures of your pets to send to you so you’ll know they’re being cared for and loved while you’re away.

FAQs for Dog Walking - Codys Corner

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 1,411 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Codys Corner. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Codys Corner. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Codys Corner.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Codys Corner. On Rover:

  • 96% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
