“Eric took care of my shy cat Ziggy for 3 days, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Ziggy usually hides from new people, but he warmed up to Eric surprisingly fast and honestly, he seems even more cheerful now than when we left! Communication with Eric was seamless, and I didn’t worry for a second. I’ll definitely be hiring Eric again for my next trip. Highly recommend!”

“Payton was the absolute best sitter i’ve ever had! We were on a trip out of the country and she still made it a point to check in with us beyond the app. I can’t wait to book Payton again, as i’m sure my little furry boys loved having a visit from her each day 🥰”

“Oleksandra was so so great and helpful. She even helped with a few small tasks around the house that I needed to have done + the cats had an accident and she cleaned it all up and made sure they were fine. I felt comfortable knowing they were in her hands!”

About: I've had animal companions since I was a kid, mainly cats but also a shih-tzu, who I had for 18 years, and Belgian Malinois, my sisters dog but we had him since he was a puppy up to 6 years old. I love animals of all sizes, and understand that everyone moves at their own pace when it comes to getting to know -me- a stranger. Stepping stones for comfort is essential, for the companion in mind, and also for myself. I have 2 cats that I take care of every day. I use an autofeeder to accomodate when I am not present, and give them wet food when I am around (and if they seem to need or want some). Play time can be any time, and loving cuddle time is any time I lay down. Mainly I keep my cats indoors, and will do the same for your companions. If a dog, I'll definitely make sure their harness is on correctly before a walk is taken. I like to use harnesses that have the clip on their backside - please. If they use a choke collar for any reason, let me know and we can have a conversation about it. Teach me how you'd like for them to be taken out, so everyone is on the same page.

About: Medication can be administered. There's a large backyard where dogs can play, walk, and play with each other. Safety and trust. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room for your pet to play. I dedicate 100% of my time to my pets. When they're in my care, I play with them and walk them. During your pet's stay in my care, we'll play games and take them for walks around my community. Most of the day they're inside the air-conditioned house. I take them out to the grass every two hours to relieve themselves. My name is Yoleida. I offer my services to care for your pets day and night, giving them walks and pet sitting at your home. I've been pet sitting for a year and I love this job, taking care of dogs and cats. I'm available every day of the week to care for your pets from my home.

“Rebecca was amazing! She provided very detailed updates and even asked additional questions for clarity to make sure that everything was perfect. One of my cats is typically frantic and hides from strangers, but Rebeca’s sent me plenty of picture of her being active and comfortable and even being pet! 6/5 experience, she went above and beyond to provide great care and I will definitely be booking again.”

“Chloe was a great sitter for the drop in visit we booked. She was also kind enough to meet up with us ahead of the drop in since it was our first time using Rover. On the day of her visit she was communicative about her arrival at our place and sent us a thoughtful update along with a few photos of our kitty. Thank you, Chloe!”

About: New here! I have grown up with animals, and am a true dog lover. Big or small, young or old - they all need love and I know how hard it is to maintain a job and give them the attention they need. Luckily, I have a job currently that allows to be home during the summer and during work hours, so with that I have time for drop ins and walks when needed. Let me help your animal get the exercise and care they need! I am very experienced and would be happy to help! Hope to hear from you soon! I am newer to the grove and would love to help take care of your pet, whether it is a drop in, walking or boarding. I am very respectful and will accommodate to your home rules. About: I have been boarding dogs in my home since 2007 and have many very happy customers. I have two small dogs of my own. The dogs have access to my fenced back garden at all times. I am retired and spend my time training and competing in agility. My dogs have free access to the living areas of my home and are able to run in and out of the back yard. They are walked at least twice a day. About this sitter: Passionate about dogs. I have completed a pet first aid course with PetTech. Why I love dog sitting: I have been a dog lover all my life. I have had a dog of my own since adopting a rescue in 1980. I now have 2 rescues and enjoy training them in obedience and agility. Meet my pets: I have two small dogs which I train and compete with in agility. About my yard: The backyard is fenced in with a 6 foot wooden fence. It has paths around the vegetation for the dogs to run. There is access to the outside from my back door at all times. I also have a small pond which is fenced and contains several fish. I am retired and home most of the time so I am able to supervise and care for your pet, take him/her for walks and have playtime. I have a fenced back yard which is available for potty breaks. I work outside in the yard most mornings and the dogs like to keep me company while I'm there. The dogs are allowed on the furniture and can sleep anywhere they choose.` I am retired and can take care of your pet at my home 24/7. I have a lot of experience looking after many types of dogs. Your pet has access to the entire house, including the furniture, and back garden. They are fed separately from my dogs. They are also brushed if necessary. I can also trim nails if the dog will allow me to do this.

Gloria P.
“Gloria Pascual has been my neighbor across the back fence for about 39 years. In all that time we've known each other, we've both been caring for our own cats and, particularly in Gloria's case, the neighborhood strays and ferals as well in a several block radius - the lost, the ones left behind when owners moved, the kittens and adults dumped for whatever reasons people do such a terrible thing. She has always been dedicated to making sure everyone got food and water twice daily, rain or shine and she would go to various places around the neighborhood to greet 1-2 here, 3 there, until everyone was checked over and fed. First things first, our Rule of the Neighborhood - if I feed you or can catch you, you're going to get spayed or neutered and checked out. Over time she would befriend them and they would gather in their little territory when they knew she was coming. She's accustomed to handling cats, understanding their behaviors and quirks, and sensing if their behavior is irregular. As best as possible, she would get them veterinary help when sick or in a fight or injured even though that was expensive, and sometimes making the hard decision when they were too hurt or too sick to save. She was always frantic when one of her charges disappeared, and if she called me, we'd both look. Sometimes successfully, sometimes not. She was greatly saddened over any disappearance or need to put someone to sleep - and over 39 years, it's happened a lot. While her experience is mostly cats as far as I know, there have also been stray or lost dogs in the neighborhood as well, and she would catch them if possible and try to find their owners and get them home. I don't know about birds or more exotics, but I can say that if an animal needs feeding, watering, walking, company or care, she's your person and she'll learn anything she needs to know to make them comfortable when their owners are away. I believe she would make an excellent pet sitter. She is conscientious, reliable, and dedicated to the welfare of the pets she monitors. She would be committed to keeping their routines, keeping things calm, safe, clean with plenty of food, water and company, and following protocols if anyone got sick. She's a good person.”

Brandon A.
“Brandon has been working with animals since he was very young. He has helped his father with stable work, horse rearing all his life. Additionally, he was a long time dog owner to his recently passed family Beagle, Roxie. She passed from old age at the very late age of 17 years. He now successfully raises his well trained German Shepherd, Belle, who is very happily living with him in Miami. Brandon is very responsible and cares a lot for animals. His natural empathy and years of experience would make him a wonderful pet sitter.”

Julie S.
“It is my joy to highly recommend Julie for the care of anyone’s beloved pet. I have personally entrusted her with our dog’s care and walking needs for years. Her loving heart, concern for safety, and deep respect for pets is very evident and forms not only a bond with the pet, but puts at ease an owner’s concerns about entrusting their pet with a caregiver. She is responsible, on time, fully reliable, and fun. My family is so glad to have found Julie! We give her 10 stars out of 5!”
