I left for 3 days and did not worry once because of how detailed and thorough Lisa was with all of her updates, including pictures and videos of the doggos. They were in great hands and were so happy to go on long walks multiple times a day. One of my dogs even needed to be hand-fed because she is a princess like that, and Lisa hand-fed her food like a champ! The other dog has stomach and joint issues so is on a very strict (and complicated) diet, but Lisa followed all instructions to the T, and I am just so thankful for her. About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart, which is why pet sitting is something I genuinely love—not just something I offer. For years, I’ve been the go-to sitter for friends and family, caring for furbabies of all types, personalities, and quirks. I’ve grown skilled at intuitively understanding what each animal needs, whether that’s high energy playtime, gentle cuddles, slow bonding, or simply a calm presence while their humans are away. When your furbaby is with me, they’re treated like family. I honor their routines, keep their world peaceful and fun, and make sure they feel safe & loved. We’ll spend our time doing the things that make them happiest, and I’ll keep you connected with plenty of photos, videos, and sweet updates—so you feel close to them every step of the way. I am self-employed and have a flexible schedule. Pet sitting is a big part of what I do, but there will be days when I'm out of the house for a few hours or longer (on occasion up to 8 hours, but that's not a regular thing) tending to my other work. For the most part, I have ample availability during the week and/or weekends for pet sitting or other pet care...and I will divulge any prior obligations that would pull me away for large chunks of time before we book to make sure you're comfortable with my schedule during the stay. Safety, trust, and comfort are at the core of my care. In your home, I make sure all potentially hazardous items are out of reach and create a calm, secure environment for your pet. I stay attentive and present—checking in regularly so your furry friend is never left unattended for long. On walks, your dog will always be securely leashed, and outings stay within the routes and activities you’re comfortable with. I honor each pet’s boundaries and follow their cues, letting them “tell” me what they want or don’t want during our time together. I also take home security seriously—keeping doors locked, alarms or lights used as instructed—and will treat your home with the same TLC as I would my own. I’m prepared for emergencies and stay calm and level-headed, contacting you and your vet (if needed) to ensure your pet gets prompt attention. If your pet has any special needs or medical considerations, please let me know before booking so I can give them the most thoughtful, personalized care possible.

“Shawndreal recently house sat for my old, 13 year old dog. She did an amazing job! I needed a last minute house sitter, and Shawndreal exceeded my expectations. She met with my dog and me beforehand, and asked great questions, and I could tell she genuinely cared for my dog's well being. She took great care of my dog while I was away, and followed all of the supplement and medicine guidelines and even sent updates when they were completed. She took my dog on his required walks and sent pictures and updates. Shawndreal left the house just the way I left it, spotless. When I got home, my dog didn't leave her side, I felt a little jealous LOL. She was a great house sitter, and I'm truly thankful for her efforts. Will definitely use again.”
